We are trying to determine when a credit check will be done for customers we have assigned to the Active Credit Control group. The Active group currently does not have any of the Credit Check At flags set. Does that mean that NO credit check will happen?

Inventory Part Availablity Planning showing incorrect info

We have a part showing up in the Inventory Part Availablity Planning screen that no long has open demand on the order. The order line has been delivered of all quanties already. How do we get our planning screen to reflect that this order has no demand?

Customer Owned Stock

Hi Community,we are starting soon with IFS app 10.We are supplying equipments to industry and those equipments are sometimes returned by customers to our premises, for repair. If my understanding is correct, I need to fill the check box “allow part ownership transfer” in the Client, so that I can link the Serial Object to another customer, if necessary. This would be the scenario were we have supplied equipment to customer A some years ago, but meanwhile customer A sold the equipment to customer B.Is this the right way to proceed ?Also, does this checked box have influence on other processes in IFS ?Thanks for your inputs.

Error on document preview

Dear all,I think I have a setup problem of some sort as I am unable to preview documents (see example in print screen above). The documents are created as I can email them to myself but would like to preview them on the screen. Can you please advise on how to solve this? Many thanks!

Changing views in Demand Plan Client

Is there a way to change the views in the Demand Plan Client? I understand I can select ‘View’ and make selections that way. However, even if ‘Query’ is selected, that information is not displaying on the screen. Additionally, is there a manual for utilizing the DP Client?

Use of One-time Supplier for Purchase Orders

I would like to know the rationale behind not enabling creation of purchase orders for One-time suppliers in IFS.We want to procure either product or service as a “one-off” with no expectations of using that supplier again. The objective would be to benefit from the control offered by use of a PO (with physical products “receipted” to the warehouse), but without all the Supplier record data housekeeping effort. Is there any way this can be done in IFS?TIA

Apps 10 Canceled Purchase Requisitionconnected to work order does not allow me to Finish the work order

In Apps 10, how do you move work order to finished status with a canceled purchase order connected to the work order? The Requisition tab remains in Released status. Need to close this in order to move the work order to finished status.

IAL is not executed

I have created a tiny IAL and scheduled it for a specific daytime, but nothing happend. Even intervall 1 minutes does not create a background job. When executing the IAL manually, it works well: Where can I look at to find out, why there is no background job created? Any help appreciated. Thanks

Multiple Tax to External Supplier Invoices

Hi All,I’m looking for an External supplier invoice template where the multiple tax lines will be automatically created or a solution to import the supplier invoice without tax and no error message (import of XML file -> SUPPEXT). In supplier basic data we defined the multiple taxes in Supplier/Address/Delivery Tax information. Overview Pricing per Customer - Price Query Overview

Hi, More than once the question is asked if we can produce a list with current prices for a customer. The price query calculates this and can show this per part.Does anyone have experience with producing this in a list (business report or other)?I understand there are some limitations to this,as the price is calculated based on multiple parameters. (date, qty, etc.) My thought was to create a report showing current prices for 1 sales UoM on the current date and maybe add an informational column telling the user that step pricing occurs for this part and if there are any promotions (from campaigns). Possibility of restricting the release of document revisions in random orders

Hi,Currently, document revisions can be released in any random order (irrespective of the order they were created). Would it cause problems if we put in some restrictions from that happening?Restrictions such as,1. We make sure that they can only be released in the order they were created in2. In a scenario where the value in the Update Revision field is set as “Latest Released Revision”, we keep the object connections in the latest created revision which was released without letting them move to a revision which was released after, but created much earlier?Thanks!

Hi, For my customer’s case , there are 20 operations in one shop order.and some operations are qulity inspection.eg:OP-10 : Appreance InspectionOP-13: Enginee Gas Emssion InspectionOP-17: Trial RunOP-20: Final Inspectionall inpsections above are independent, keep its own data-points set and contorl plan. So, I actually need a data module that, one shop order link to multiple contorl plan.Is there any work around for this? Thanks,

Hi! Running app9 and are trying out weighted average, transaction based we get some pricediff transactions as MPL vouchers instead of I and J when we've issued the received part to a repair shop order before the invoice is matched. On some of these transactions (PRICEDIFF) we get negative amount in debet/credit columns. I think this only occurs when we first issue qty to a repair order and then later do a return for credit, but i have never seen negative amounts in debet/credit in mpccom before and are a bit confused. Can someone please clarify when this negative amount is supposed to occur? Or is it a bug?Thanks /Micke

Apps9 Touch Apps Server setup

We are looking to implement TAS for MWO onto our App9 system but it’s all getting confusing as to what network setting we need and where the TAS needs to be.On the diagrams I got from the Exposing to Internet document, it implies that the TAS needs to be inside our network but our tech guys are thinking the TAS should be IN the DMZ, NOT the Intranet?Has anyone set up TAS on Apps9 and how have you configured your network for best security. We do not want to expose IFS directly to the outside world as it’s secure behind the firewalls.SHOULD TAS & MWO be in the DMZ? Is that the correct place to put it?Thanks

Error in MT940 files

I can manually import MT940 files into IFS by putting the file on a specific folder. However, I need to automate this import so when I put the file on the "IN" folder of the IFS app server I get an error about routing. Please see below for details on the error.
