Place Text File to SFTP location using IFS Connect

Hi Team,

We have requirement to create text file in the SFTP location from IFS, so we have configured corresponding sftp sender through IFS Connect.

Now, can we directly post Application message with message body as text file or only option is to create xml record type and use xml to text transformer in routing address before routing file to sftp location?

If latter is the only option, whether will it have performance impact if we need to fetch thousands of records in xml file and convert to text file using xsl transformer before placing the file?
