IFS Enterprise Explorer in high resolution

Has anyone experienced issues with using Enterprise Explorer in high resolution?We have a number of laptops with 3200*1800 and if you are using that in combination with 200% scaling, there can be overlapping in displaying list of lines.For example in ‘Equipment Object Navigator’, where the tree structure would be a bit compressed and lines overlapping.We solved it by lowering the resolution to 1920*1080, but would like to go back to a higher resolution because of other applications.Is there any limitations in support for higher screen resolutions with Enterprise Explorer?(IFS application 10 upgrade 7)

Inter site Error Message

Hi Does anyone recognise the error message (shown below) on the inter site incoming customer order(see screen shot below)? If so what is the cause of this error message? IFS Cloud 22R2 SU10 - MWO notification language change from English to French

Hi ⁠I am searching for the right settings to get MWO Maintenance App fully in French language on my iOS device.My mobile device is set up for French.The preferred language for the mobile user I am connecting with is set up to French.The App menus and various screens and fields are in French ok.But not the notifications for new assignments. They remain in English. Am I missing a setting somewhere or should it be reported as a bug?

Is it possible to reserve the materials/parts from the Task Material screen?See below, you can issue, but not reserve… I’ve used another screen to reserve the part so you cansee the option to “Unreserve” but not Reserve.

Want to make changes to Purchase Order without need for a Change Order

We are currently on APPS9 and moving in October to the Cloud version We are finding the Purchase Order Change Process is very clunky in the new cloud version, is there a way we can remove the need to create a change order and just make changes to the original order as per most other systems - Authorisation level is excessive on Purchase Order Change Orders - We only need it to be on increased value of order - Any help would be greatly appreciated, new to IFS - Thanks Sheila

Apps 8 and Windows Compatibility

Hi IFS Community,I have a question please regarding legacy IFS versions and more modern Windows O/S. Not all customers have yet moved to IFS Cloud, some have longer roadmaps or less requirement for this change. To maintain a level of O/S securities on their servers some customers may look to uplift their Windows versions that are still being supported by Microsoft. I have a question from a long-standing customer of ours relating to uplifting their IFS Applications 8 into Windows Server 2019.My question pleaseIs there any up-to-date documentation relating to the various windows versions with the various IFS versions for compatibilities? I have seen these documents in the past but legacy documentation is getting a little sparse on here these days with the roll out of Cloud.Could anyone kindly supply me with this document at all as this is likely to come up again for other customers in the future and it would be better to be aware of any compatibility issues before any work is handled.

When entering Analysis results, why are you forced to enter a value in the Nonconformities (np,p) column, when you only want to track Nonconformities (c, u). # Defects in the sample, not # of items with defects. Do you have to uncheck the SPC checkbox?

IFS 10 Proxy Setup Issue

We have been working on setting up a proxy to our IFS 10.11 DEV environment using Azure AD so that our external partners do not need to use VPN in order to access. Working with Hoist, we have had escalation up to the VP of Technology and still the issue is presented, even when following this IFS documentation exactly: https://docs.ifs.com/techdocs/Foundation1/040_administration/210_security/015_authentication/020_configure_azure_ad/default.htm Specifically, the below error is shown when attempting to access Aurena (IEE access works perfectly). The double “//” before “main” in the URL is strange - we have attempted multiple different setups in Azure, but are still unsure as to why that’s happening.

Accessing parameter values in Excel Layout

What is the syntax to be able to call the parameter values into an Excel Layout? I am refering the the parameter values the end user need to enter when they call a specific report. I was asked to add those values to the Excel Layout so they know what parameters were specified when they generated the report in Excel. Those parameters are often part of the PDF basic template:

Duplicate Supplier Check

We commonly face the issue of duplicate suppliers being created. I am attempting to create a custom event to do a soft validation when a supplier is created to check if there are others with a similar name but when I am creating a new supplier I do not get a message when I should. I am able to get a message if I use ERROR_SYS.RECORD_GENERAL instead of Client_SYS.Add_Info. Any suggesetions? Work Task Status Doesn't Update

I have a customer whose technician is completing work orders and the assignment status remains as ‘OnRoute’ even though he completed all the steps and finished the work task. The technician utilizes the travel option to travel to / travel from the job location. What are some possible causes for this status change issue? Is this a bug and/or human error with selections that the MWO app is allowing to move forward in the work task process with? And is there a functionality as an admin to manually change the assignment status?

BR email subject line “Excel -File for report is ready”

We are running IFS 10 Update 13 mostly with Aurena.-Two report notification email issues:When scheduling reporting, and setting them to send emails to users, we have noticed that canned (prebuilt) reporting includes the name of the report in the subject line of the email. But, Business Reporter (BR) reports will not move the name of the report to the subject line of the email. Instead, we only see: “Excel -File for report is ready” -How do we get the name of the report into the subject line of the email? We run multiple test environments. Can the environment name be in the Subject line of the email?Thanks!

Post Business Report Installation - Cannot open files larger than 10 MB

My customer is running 23R1 and after they installed BR on their local PC, the users are not able to open any excel file that is over 10 MB. Has anyone seen this problem?

FSM 6 Android SDK 30 to 33

Google Play Store will no longer accept apps on SDKs targeting less than 33. Is there any plans to have the Android SDK updated to 33? Even though the Play Store is not supported, I am not sure if staying on a older SDK 30 is a good idea as well. Any customers that currently use the Play Store in order to deploy via InTune/MDM, will no longer be able to do so as of August 31 (fixes, new mods). Anyone has done a project specific update of SDK? I started trying with SKD31 but it is a good chunk of work. It new builds and launches, but there will be plenty of runtime issues to be fixed. PS.: Apparently there is an exception to extend it to November, but hasn’t been confirmed yet. There might be an option available to “ permanently private apps” as well, but hasn’t been confirmed yet.

assystNET Affected User - UserID search

Is there a way to allow userID search in assystNET to avoid choosing the wrong user? Currently, when you fill out a form in assystNET, the Affected User is auto-populated to the reporting user. When you change that, it is based off of name, not userID. Is there a way to change that so when choosing an Affected User’s name, it also shows their UserID associated with that name? When you click on the search magnifying glass, there are criteria options, but UserID is not one of them. Is there a way to add UserID there as well?
