Can the charges of the customer order be calculated based on the weight of the part?

Hi, 

Quick answer (from what I read / have been told) is yes.  

But it’s not a quick / easy process.   The many of my clients have used unit based charge types or the freight interface that’s very common in North America.

Thank you for your reply. The documentation you sent me is applied to freight charges in the shipment but in my case I want my charges to be calculated based on the weight in the customer order (charges tab)

@K4uLinalM Are you looking for something similar to what PO line charges can be distributed by. i.e. weight? 

For that I think the column ‘Line adjusted weight gross’ column in the CO Charges tab might help. Its help defines it as line net weight * fright factor
