Hi all,A customer is installing Aurena Agent using their remote software installation procedure to all users in a group. What they have done isMass rollout the .msi file. Pushed silent installation with the TEST environment url. Chrome extension was pushed out and enabled successfully for Chrome. Extension was installed on Edge too. Above worked. Question:How do we now change the url to PROD? Uninstall and reinstall with correct url? Just push with new url?, etc, etc? Any help much appreciated. Kind regards,Rajith
Working in IFS CloudI am looking into implementing Work Instructions in Workbench through Work Guidelines. Our current routings structures are very template oriented, including Standard Operations as much as possible.I am trying to work out how to get Media attached to lower level objects to flow up to the next level, ie Pictures connected to a Work Guideline Template to move to a Standard Operation when attached, then to a Routing Template Operation, etc. Ultimately the goal is for media attached at any step in the chain to be connected at the Routing level and ultimately within the Operation Guide in Workbench.A few of these connections are standard functionality and work as expected, a couple I have had to manually enable MediaLibrary service and create Object Connection Transformations to connect these items, and in certain cases I can bypass the intermediate steps and make it work, for example anything with a Work Guideline Template connected works. Is there a way to view PDF files without downloading them directly from the Document Revision screen, similar to how it is possible on the attachment panel in other screens? Is this possible with a custom command maybe?In my case I will have a lot of documents not attached to any objects, I would still like to be able to view the PDF documents without downloading them.
How is the Send Document Link functionality supposed to be used? And, more exactly, the escape characters in the link? I’m testing this with a document class named ‘IPC REV’, thus with a space in it. The result is an url containing DocClass='IPC%2520REV' which does not work if I try it in the browser. 'IPC%20REV' works though. It looks as first the space is replaced by %20 and then the % is replaced by %25. Since this looks like it is done deliberately, what is the story?
Hi,In the Indicators section of the Export License there is “Document Connected” set to default No. After several License creation attempts, Export Controlled documents created, no matter what I tried I couldn’t get that indicator activated and document connected.How could we get document(s) connected to the Export License?Thanks.

Hello all,I’ve done some research and i found some interesting features in Virtual Maps. We Can Configure desired Information as image shown above just like Tableau. But i found it uneasy because i failed to show my desired information page. I’ve created my personal Information page it only Show Longitutude and Latitude Information and failed to show Large Map with error message shown below.Did i miss something?Thank You

Hi,we would like to release documents of a certain document class automatically after the document is created so that it is passed in the arichvsystem. For this purpose I have created an event which executes a SQL script when a new record is created in the EDM_FILE_STORAGE_TAB table. This works for many documents, but for some the error "Document with status Operation In Progress cannot be approved: ORA-20105: DocIssue.APPROVECHECKEDOUT1" output.I then already put a break in the script and also attached the event to table EDM_FILE_TAB. All unfortunately without success.What am I doing wrong?Regards André
With the type 'Check In To Document Management' in the report rules it is possible to create a document revision with the report when printing a report. If I configure the Document No in the property list as follows 'DocumentNo=[@CUSTOMER_ORDER_IVC_REP/INVOICE_NO];' the revision is not created. If I omit the DocumentNo property, a new Document No is created each time the report is printed. How can I implement in the report rules that a document revision is created which is revised when the report is printed again?
Hopefully an easy question to save me (and others) having to test this: Does CreateAndImportDocument.svc work with FTP repository or only database?

Hi everyone!I’m using POSTMAN to upload documents to IFS Cloud 21R2 and have successfully uploaded to the document manager with many thanks to the people who provided the detailed information in this topic: My requirement is to upload to the media library rather than the docman so I’ve also looked at this topic (again, many thanks to the contributors):I’ve used MediaLibraryAttachmentHandling.svc/CreateAndConnectMedia to get the ItemId and then I’ve tried to patch with MediaLibraryAttachmentHandling.svc/MediaLibrarySet(LibraryId='1013') and also MediaItemHandling.svc/MediaItemSet(ItemId=1013). Whatever I try to upload fails with unsupported content type.I tried just providing a png or a jpg file and let POSTMAN set the headers: Following the instructions in the above post I then specifically set the content type, if-match and X-IFS-Content-Disposition I can successfully upload both png and jpg as media files as a user.Thanks in advance for any suggestions!
Dear IFS Community,To set up an interface we need to download the documents associated with a business object.No problem to do this with an End User , however, when we try to download a document with a Service User (user type = Service User) it does not work.Here is the message displayed :{"error":{"code":"ODATA_PROVIDER_ERROR","message":"An internal server error occurred. Contact administrator.","details":[{"code":"PROJECTION_IMPL_EXCEPTION","message":"Error when reading the file: You do not have view access to download this document."}]}}'The service user has all the accesses, like the end user with whom everything was ok.Did somebody have you ever seen this problem?
Hi,several customers who use Aurena client in Apps 10 or IFS Cloud ask for the old functionality to configure the attachment panel if it should show icons, lists or details. Of course it is possible to press the button ‘Document Revisions’ to see all the details of all attached documents.Is it on the roadmap for DocMan to offer a possibilty for getting the table view of all connected documents in the attachment panel? This should not be a big modification and would help all customers who have lot of documents attached.Best regardsHeinz

Hello, We have some issue with our customer regarding Document management deployment.Internal database has restricted storage capacity, which is not viable in the long run. FSS solution has a cost per utilization, which is not a possible solution regarding its costFirst, the customer project is the following :1st go-live with an On-premise installation of IFS Cloud Switch from On-premise to IFS Cloud as a service installation Roll-out 6 months later on a IFS as a service installationIn the long run, document storage solution must be compatible with a Cloud installation. Standard solutions offered by IFS in terms of Document storage does seems not to allow to have client-managed databases in a Cloud installation : e.g. an Azure Storage database owned and managed by the customer, which would be connected to the FSS storage solution. My questions are the following :Can an Azure Storage database owned and managed by the customer be used in a FSS storage solution ? If yes, how is the setup
When i view a PDF in Aurena using the eye icon, the digital signatures in the pdf are not visible. I can see then when i download and open the file. Is this an Aurena limitation or a browser problem?

Version 22.1.1Is there any method to connect multiple existing document revisions to one business object at the same time?Example: At the Change Request, using the Attach Existing command, can a User find and select multiple records? Or is this a one-by-one process?

When adding many attachments in Posting Proposals to an invoice we get this message.“Too many documents to transfer to overview page. Showing a limited list.”Is there a way to configure this so we can see all attachments added to the invoice?
