Hi All, I have a question on connecting my Functional Object to a Technical Class (and Attributes). I did following:Created a Technical Class Created Technical Attributes (Numeric and Alphanumeric) Created Technical Class Template and connecting various Technical Atributes to the Class Template, and including ‘Attribute Values’ to the Alphanumeric AttributesCreated an Object Type Connected a Technical Class to my Object Specified the correct values for my Technical Attributes connected to the Object Type Approved my Technical Class for the Object TypeNavigate to Functional Object Add Object Type to my Functional Object This populated the tab ‘Requirements’ with the attributes from the Technical Class connected to the object type But…..Why are the values I specified on the Object Type not copied to the Functional Object? Shouldn’t this be populated as well? Maybe I am not understanding the functionality correct but I would assume the Technical Attributes of the Object Type Technical Cla

Hi experts 😊,Hoping for a resolution for the following issue.Created a Kanban Circuit for a Part with Replenish Type: Location Next, created a background job via Kanban Reorder Point Request; However, the background job does not execute and gives a warning as “Replenishment request failed to create a transport task for the kanban circuit xxx. I want to be able to retrieve a list of stock records which are classified as Manufactured Parts.Within EE you could add in API calls to advanced searches,inventory_part_api.get_type_code(contract,part_no) = ‘Manufactured’Does anyone know the options for this rather than added a custom attribute within this screen? Is it possible to delete the measured value from the measurement history at the test point of the object? I can only mark the value as wrong.The integration API contains "Delete entity from EquipmentObjectMeasSet", but it returns an error:There are many measured values at the test point in the measurement history, and since the older values are no longer needed, I would need to delete them.The second reason is that I write the values via RestAPI, and if the test point has an extensive measurement history, the time to write a new value is disproportionately extended.deleting the record from the measurement history.So, is there any possibility of removing the measured values from the measurement history on the object, or will those records remain in IFSCloud forever?

Hi, I’m trying to pass an aditional header key to a http call from IFS9. If I use the below Routing Address, my additional header parameter will show in options in the response, but if I look at what headers IFS is actually sending it is not there. I send the request to an http endpoint that i control and read the headers from there. How is IPaaS and ETM licensed? I understand that the account(s) must be configured as an Integrations license type in assyst. Is there somewhere in the License form of assyst that might indicate an amount of integration licenses available, or do they piggy back on concurrent assyst users, or is it something else?James

In Apps 9 there was a field within both Part and No Part Requisition Lines called ‘Cost Return At’. If this value was set to ‘Arrival’, this would create a work order posting when the purchase order created from the requisition was received. I cannot see an equivalent field in Apps 10. Is this functionality available somewhere else? We basically want an entry in the Cost tab of the Work Order Task when a purchase order (created via requisition) is receipted.
We are adding weight or volume based charges automatically on Customer orders when new customer order line is created. There is charge type and charge price per liter or kg defined in Sales Charge Type. Charge price in Sales Charge type is always defined in Site base currency. We have customers that are ordering in different currencies. For those we have agreed fixed charge prices per kg or liter in the currency customer is using. How can we defined those other currency charge prices. In standard solution it is always doing charge price conversion from base currency to order currency with daily exchange rate. In this case that order currency charge price is not fixed. It is changing every day.
In Apps 10 users were able to select/highlight more than one Business Opportunity at a time, right mouse and select Close Opportunity. In Cloud the Close option is only there when one record is selected - If more lines are selected then the command buttons disappear - Is this functionality scheduled to be added back? Thanks.
We are using IFS10 with update 3.We have created several KanBan circuits in our test environment and these are working as expected. However, we have some that are failing. We get this warning on the background job: Replenishment request failed to create a transport task for the kanban circuit (XXXX). Verify inventory exists to transport.We have checked all the setttings of the KanBan with one that does create the Transport task and they are identical. We have checked the location and the material in stock they are all available. I have tried manually to move the parts to and from the locations by manually creating transport tasks and executing them without any problems or errors.What can be the cause of the missing transport task?
We have granted the activity “VirtMapPositionManagement” to a permission set but with this action user can see the map position as well as insert and update the position. We want to give users read-only access.Can we grant the Map positions as read-only? Thank you in advance for your help and support.
I am unable to get Labor Load Details to populate after running CRP. I have Man Labor Hours connected to Shop Order Operations. I also have Labor Classes (all set for groups). We do not house employee information in IFS. I have Crew Size, Labor Classes, etc. entered on routings. As a reference, we are in the process of adding a Scheduling Visualizer Tool (i.e. Manufacturing Visualizer) but I am trying to do all of my prechecks to make sure it is pulling all the correct information. Hi, I am currently trying to create a “partial customer payment rollback” as need to credit original advance invoice and generate a new advanced invoice against a new customer order to match this payment too.Unfortunately, the payment was received in the previous year which has been closed and audited.I have unmatched the transactions in the “automatic transaction matching” screen, but when I attempt the “partial rollback” it tells me that this cannot be completed as that period / year is not open.I am concerned that if I open the period for the previous year then this will amend the previous years figures. I've recorded and edited an one on one session with permission from Lamont May who recently started with IFS and will be doing EAM training. If you follow this session, you should be able to set up EAM for a US company. It begins with thirty minutes of set up on the site, users, resources, and parts, then it goes into setting up equipment structure and objects for fifteen minutes (including technical characteristics which isn't really introductory training but is frequently asked about but ignored), then closes with setting up task templates and a generic PM Program for a piece of equipment.I did notice I grabbed the wrong calendar on the site set up that needs generated in the database I was training from, so I suggest using the calendar labeled "5" which at this time comes out generated when delivered in RACE.I guarantee you will learn more watching and trying to follow along with this video for just over an hour than you can learn anywhere else on how to get started in EAM in IFS Cl
Attached is a procedure for creating PM Programs using task templates. One thing that tripped me up was having to do a revision on the generated PM Actions if it was necessary to update the Start Value. Other than that and not trying to add Grouped & Merged into the mix, PM Programs function pretty well. I suggest not trying to use the PM Replacement functionality on a PM Program, but let the system generate multiple work tasks when they align.Please let me know if this is helpful as well as if you see any errors or omissions or anything I need to clarify.
Is it possible to have multiple SSIS catalog folders in the environment parameters within IFS Cloud. We would like to keep our data separated for various reasons.
I’m replacing all my 2012R2 servers with 2019 and trying to install Apps 10 on the first. Keep getting a prerequisite fail in the install wizard … Package Microsoft Visual C++ x64 cannot be found. The OHS Server might not work as a result of this ...”. The MWS fails to start.I use the same vcredist_x64.exe prior to running installer.cmd that I used on the 2012 servers without issue.Tried 2010 and 2013 installs as well … same error message. Any ideas?
