Hello, I have created a custom enumeration with data as below; db_value Client_value Seq CS01 Class 01 Object 1 CS02 Super Class Object 2 CS03 Unattended 3 CS04 Restricted Object 4 CS05 Other 5 I have another custom enum, which created an LOV in a page where the user selects something called “class” from the LOV. The enum looks like this: db_value Client_value Seq CS01 Class 01 1 CS02 Class 02 2 CS03 Class 03 3 CS04 Class 04 4 CS05 Class 05 5 However, I want to create a link between these two enums;when a user selects a “Class”, the description (Client Value) From first table should be automatically fetched into a custom read-only field. I cannot use the same enum for the description because both types of client values are needed in different situations. How can I achieve this without using code?.Kalindu

I am working with in aerospace company who is at the moment, very early in the production of their product. As such, they have a heavy learning curve and thus an item may take significantly longer than anticipated. The customer says that there are standards for the learning curve that can be applied per the iteration of the unit being produced. For example, unit 1 may take a learning curve of 3.9 times the operation machine/labor time. Unit 50 may be a learning curve of 1.1 times.Logically, we would affect the operation efficiency on the shop order to reflect the learning curve. However, we do not have the capability of "automatically" adjusting the operation efficiencies as the learning curve has improved.Has anyone ever encountered this and if so, what did you do to accommodate that? I am looking for technical document on the MWO Service application. Specifically details on how the application syncs with the local cache and where that data is stored on the workstation (Assuming windows in this case). All the documentation I can find at the moment is on IFS Cloud and Aurena. Can anyone point me in the right direction?
We took the GDPR module in use in Apps9 and have used it with success. The challenge is making sure the data is solid before taking action. We had a custom quick report in use to see whose personal data would be handled (deleted or anonymized as per configs) and when. This report functions different now in Apps10 and needs to be remade.IFS core functionality for checking the situation beforehand was based on email notification in a way where one message per user per company per data entity (employee, person) per purpose was created. We tried it once and got over 2000 emails and do not want to use it ever again.What other verification methods are you using before the purges?`The aim is to make sure no premature deletions or anonymizations would be made and we’d like to see when and whose data gets handled. This is where the report is a nice way to do it, to have overall view at once whenever needed What other ways you are using? Does IFS Cloud have better core way than Apps9/10?
Exporting data from the Default Packing Instructions Customer Order screen includes the Part number but not the part description, even though it is included in the column. Same goes to the Customer column.

Hi,I have created a quick report, and it is working fine except i have the issue with the column alignment. I need to set the columns with amount to the right.Also formatting of ,00 needs to be like 0,00.Diff sal amount and diff net amount are the columns added by me in the quick report.
Is there anyone that have runned into a situation where the demand is to have an extended control plan if it has been very long since latest delivery/latest shop order?When frequent deliveries /frequent shop orders ordinary control plans is ok to be used, but when there is a gap between occations there is a need for a extended analyse.I have not found any obvious way of solving this. Is there anybody that have an idea how to solve this demand?

We are IFS hosted.In IFS Apps 9 UPD 1, on the Solution Manager -> Security -> Users -> Active Directory User Integration screen, there is a Primary LDAP Server listed.We need to change this server. I know when we updated the password for the service account listed on this screen, we lost IFS access and IFS (who hosts our system) had to stop/restart some services for IFS to work again.Do we need to coordinate with IFS to change the LDAP server name? Or are we able to do that with no other impacts?
I want to start loading and creating voucher through External Voucher Assistant when ever a file is dropped into IFS through IFS Connect reader into application messages. I have started to create the event when a new post is created in FNDCN_APPLICATION_MESSAGE_TAB and the sender/status is the proper one. The first thing the event does is to copy the file from application message into the server folder - that is handled OK. Then I want to start the External Voucher Assistant in background mode. I have all the parameters necessary to start the job, but when I do this with debugger active in IFS, the file assistant ends up in the schedule job window, and no debugger messages are shown. So I cannot see the final code that post the job for background running. Does anyone in here know how to create PL/SQL code that does the trick?Thanks for any input :)Best regardsIrene
When creating a New Manual Supplier Invoice, the User Id attribute will auto-populate. Our users would like to see this User ID on the Manual Supplier Invoice page but it is not an available attribute in the Manual Supplier Invoice Group (or any other view that I can find). Does anyone happen to know where it can be found?Second question...If the User ID is not available for a Manual Supplier Invoice, can a custom field be added into the New Manual Supplier Invoice so that the creator of the Invoice (Application User) can be recorded? We would like to know who created a Manual Supplier Invoice.Thank you!

We are experiencing this on 2 RMAs currently, 721 and 1048. (please check the image for the error) - The commonality between the 2 RMAs is that they were processed as a Return to a different Site than the originating RMA (Original Order was placed in ST003; return being sent to ST001).- The originating RMA 720 and 1047 were set up and linked to the customer order the parts were sold under. I just tried to receive in the parts under 721 with a different lot number and was received in Successfully. We will now have to manually adjust the inventory to reflect the correct lot number which is not ideal, but the RMA can be credited.What’s the reason behind this error?
