The required quantity can be edited, given that:The order is not an External Service Order (Order Code 6) The part on the purhase order line is not serial tracked at receiptThe client code (PurchaseOrderLineComponents) looks like this:editable = [parent.OrderCode != "6" and parent.RcptIssueSerialTrackDb = "FALSE"]; Why is it forbidden to edit the required quantity if the part is serial tracked at receipt? We have not found any good reason for this.
Using external file assistant to upload the credit card transactions to IFS. When the transactions are accidentally uploaded twice there is no possibility to remove them since the Credit card type is non reimbursable credit card type. There should be a possibility to delete them.

All the documentation I can find at the moment is on IFS Cloud and Aurena. Can anyone point me in the right direction?
Hi All,Within IFS you can copy certain lines, like in the Customer Order Line etc.But when trying to do so in the RMA (Return Material Authorization) Lines we get the error message :The value "Y" has incorrect format for [Systemparametersshortageflag] in ReturnMaterial Line.Does somebody know how to avoid this message and that the copy pasting truly works in the RMA Lines ?When you copy the line in an orderless RMA Return, I also see that it takes the RMA Line no. (Unfortunately it is not possible to adjust this), so I think this is related to the error message, but don’t know for sure. When you copy a Customer Order Line you can adjust the Line no. but in the RMA Lines it is not possible to adjust this. We are currently working in IFS Cloud 22R2 SU7.Looking forward to your reply.

Hi,I’m hoping to limit the account values available to select in purchase order pre-posting based on the user creating the PO.Effectively, I would like to use the functionality of Posting Combination Rules, but have the rules apply to the pre-posting in a PO rather than just being checked at the invoicing stage.For example if someone in the IT department raised a PO, the list of accounts available should be limited to show only accounts relevant to IT.The only proposed solution I’ve come across for this is using saved searches, but this of course does not stop a user selecting other accounts, and is difficult to manage in Aurena for a large amount of users.Does anyone have any other potential solutions? We’re using Apps10 and procurement end users are using Aurena.Thanks
Dear allWe are in testing upgrade from Apps10 to IFS Cloud and noticed the above background jobs never completing, or taking hours more.Calc_Lead_Time_Rpi.Recalc_Leadtimes takes 2 minutes 30 in Apps 10, but roughtly 7 hours in IFS Cloud.Mrp_Process_API.Sched_Pln_Network_Mrp_Proc__ takes roughly 30 minutes in Apps 10.. never seen in complete in IFS Cloud.Anybody any tips, or experiencing similar issues?We do not experience any other performance related issues.many thanksDominik

I have a customer that wants to use card driven execution for transactions where the employee must scan their card. If the employee attempts to clock in on the time clock, ostensibly at the beginning of the day, the word IN appears at the top of the screen but the operator is not prompted to do anything else.I have set up a clock in on a test Time Clock with a text prompt of “Scan Your Badge”. When I press the clock in button, the prompt appears at the top of the screen.Am I correct in assuming that when the “Scan Your Badge” prompt appears, it is then that the operator should scan his badge? There is no prompt showing to do that. Am I missing something here?
IFS application 10 UPD22 - IEE client We are trying to limit the number of devices a userid can be logged into IFS at the same time. We are working with Oracle Profile - Sessions / User. A value of UNLIMITED appears to allow an unlimited number of logins on multiple devices.A value of 3 (or more) appears to allow an unlimited number of logins on multiple devices.A value of 1, or 2, does not allow the userid to login, with the system responding with “invalid login credentials”. Have others got this working?The goal is to prevent sharing of accounts, requiring each user to log in with their own account.

I want to start loading and creating voucher through External Voucher Assistant when ever a file is dropped into IFS through IFS Connect reader into application messages. I have started to create the event when a new post is created in FNDCN_APPLICATION_MESSAGE_TAB and the sender/status is the proper one. The first thing the event does is to copy the file from application message into the server folder - that is handled OK. Then I want to start the External Voucher Assistant in background mode. I have all the parameters necessary to start the job, but when I do this with debugger active in IFS, the file assistant ends up in the schedule job window, and no debugger messages are shown. So I cannot see the final code that post the job for background running. Does anyone in here know how to create PL/SQL code that does the trick?Thanks for any input :)Best regardsIrene

We are running the All Parts Cost Calculations for all active parts in a specific site, but we are having situations where the costs are not updating. I am having to go back to the Parts Cost page and filter on the Calculation Date and then select the ones that haven’t updated and run the calculations manually. Any thoughts as to why this is happening, or what we can do to have this function properly?
If we have ship loose parts (like bolts, nuts, etc.) that need to be shipped with an order (sometimes known at order onset and others not known until Manufacturing done) how can you add this to an order in IFS Cloud or at least have a notification of some sort for Shipping to know that these are required? We are on 23R1 SU10 currently.
Hello,We have a custom multi-select look up to contact users in a form within the customiser.In the process designer I am looking for a way to send separate authorisation tasks to all contact users selected in the lookup when the event reaches a particular stage in the process.I have managed to get this working for a single select lookup, but I am struggling to get this working with the multi-select lookup.Does anyone have any ideas on the best way to achieve this?Thanks very much for any help.(Tried to post this in the Assyst general sub forum but wasn’t able to select it)

So far we found Business mail and Business Activity's and this looks great for Business Lead and Business opportunity's, but it seems unable to connect those to customer orders or an project. Hope someone can give me some advice. How do others log ther communication about a customer order in IFS? Currently using IFS10 IEE
We have a user with a new laptop with Windows 11 and IFS 7.5 all windows (Customer window, Sales part window, etc..) are giving the error 'index was outside the bounds of the array error'.We installed Microsoft Visual C++ 2005 and 2010 and still got the error.For some users with Windows 11 APP 7.5 is working. Please let us know what can be the cause of this.
