It is very limited, like it can do only 5-10% of what Camunda engine is capable of.That’s why, I want to know if anyone was able to achieve this using this Timer start event functionality?Also, how can I see logs of this workflow as it is not bounded to any Event or Projection. Hi @Aleksandra W.I think the webservice http://api.nbp.pl/en.html doesn’t need any API key. It is a public API.So, I used this webservice -URL: https://api.nbp.pl/api/exchangerates/tables/aAPI Key: I entered any random key since the webservice will ignore this query parameterI tried to update the currency rates, it didn’t show any error but it didn’t update also.Possible reason -The webservice returns an XML and in a different structure than the currencyapi.com -api.currencyapi.comPolish bank portal API Thanks and Regards,Rohit.
I tried to add my macro code on WindowActivate event. It seems to be working fine. The macro executes after the data gets populated.In the macro, I can check the parameter value then execute different block of code based on the parameter value.
In IFS Cloud some BR parameter settings are moved to a new page - Information Source Settings.I found the ALL parameter setup there - Thanks.
Solved it by installing the certificate from Chrome browser -Step 1: Click “Certificate is not valid”Step 2: Click on “Details” TabStep 3: Click “Export” ButtonStep 4: Save and open the certificate .crt fileStep 5: Install the certificate placing it under “Trusted Root Certification Authorities”. I am not sure if we normally install the certificate then it will work or not.

Hi @Shou Depreciated features doesn’t mean they are removed. They are just not recommended to use and will be removed in future releases. We cannot tell when but they will be removed.You can read the explanation here -Thanks.
Hi @12gAshanD When a feature is called “depreciated”, it means the feature is no longer recommended to be used and the feature will be removed in the future release. We cannot tell when but they will be removed.So, to answer your question, if in the docs of 21R1, it is written that it is “depreciated”, it means it is not recommended to use. Which doesn’t means that they are removed in 21R1 itself. IALs are fully functional in 21R1.The depreciated features are always fully functional till the version it is not removed and you can use them, no one can stop you.But since the feature is tagged as depreciated and will be removed in the future, one should also stop using it because it will not be transferrable to future versions.Alternative can be custom views, and lets see what 22R2 offers! @gianni.neves That Microsoft setting is on the browser side, the sessions are timed-out because IFS Aurena also has this keep-alive kind of setting which determines after how long inactivity will log you out.So, if you can install an addon for your browser, that can simulate some user action to keep the connection alive, the sessions will not log out. There will be plenty of options for the browser you use.One example - https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/let-live/aacggglhipafndnfihckmepmolhmbejcIf you don’t trust 3rd party addons, then you can write your own script also. Like using Greasemonkey or any other tool, you can write your own script to keep the connection alive with the IFS web application.Although, this IFS connection timeout seems frustrating, it is there for security purpose only. I tried the below 2 options -Private Sub Workbook_open()Sub Auto_Open()But these 2 options run just after workbook gets opened, and BR tool populates the workbook after this “open” event of excel. So at the time these subprocedures run, the workbook doesn’t contain any data. Is there a BR tool provided event? like “on populate”, which can trigger macros after BR tool finishes populating the data. I didn’t find such. It will be nice to have feature if BR tool also can fire some of its events. For example, “on data populate” will be handy. Thanks.
I created an approximate algorithm using the worst-case scenario.I assumed in the worst-case scenario, the description texts will take 35 characters per line and the page can fit in 15 lines. This scenario was the worst-case, when characters are capital letter, 35 chars will fit on one line. (I used the ‘M’ character, as it is the widest character of the font, to count minimum no. of chars per line).I created few variables like -chars_per_line_ := 35;lines_per_page_ := 15;line_counter_ := 0;In the for loop of the item, I counted the length of description text then took CEIL of length/chars_per_line_ to determine how many lines it will occupy. Then increased the line_counter_ As soon as my line_counter_ increased the limit of lines_per_page_ I added some value in an XML flag-like column that I created in the schema.On the layout, I checked if this flag column has a value or not, if it has, I added a page-break after . The value in the flag column was the running-sum.The value I added in
“UPDATE”After deleting the lobby page, re-importing throws the error. When the page exists and I retry to import, it works.
@ChanakaAmarasekara Thanks, it worked for me too.Selecting the Arial Unicode MS font renders the checkmark symbol. I tried with other fonts like Segoe UI Symbol, Wingdings, etc. but none other font renders the symbol.It was problem of the font that I was using. It was not able to display that checkmark symbol.

What do you mean by BA report? How does the user input this value? Is it one of the report values? If a PDF is created you could create a custom action on the PDF_REPORT_CREATED system event. @mwilson I meant the “Business report” - User can input values in this dialog window.However, I solved my requirement using alternate solution, but I will keep this thread open to see if this is also possible or not. With multiple values, it simply didn’t return any row.
