Hi, Can someone guide me on how to use an image stored in the database table in an operational report? I have stored the image as a blob in the database. And I was trying to fetch the image using a select statement. But, it is not showing the image even though it shows the value of the string when trying to preview the report. Therefore, any idea on how can we call an image stored in the database in the report? Regards, Sachinthani.
I am trying to create a Fire Roll Call that lists current employees when they are classed as present. When you look at the Present Employees screen in IFS the view is COMPANY_PERS_ASSIGN_BASIC. The Present column calls the following API to get the result of whether they are present or not: Time_Pers_Diary_Clock_Util_Api.Is_Present_Offset(company_id, emp_no,null ) and returns a 1 or 0. This was working fine in my Crystal Report but is not available when you add the WEB_UTIL_API. I have tried adding it as a custom field within the COMPANY_PERS_ASSIGN_BASIC view but cannot seem to get this to work. How can I get the result of the API into my report? Any advice gratefully received.
I’m looking for a place in IFS to store what tools/equipment specific engineers have possession of and record things such as calibration due dates against them. Tools and Facilities seems like the only relevant place but you can only assign to tool to a company and not a specific employee. Any ideas would be appreciated.
Does anybody know of any security issues with relating to Employee Self Service in Aurena. Reason for asking is apparently there is supposed to be a major flaw with regards security. Apparently, if the user is granted access to Employee Self Service they are able to amend details on the payslip?? We were looking at allowing Employee Self Service to enable employees to request holidays, etc.
I am trying to delete a User that I’ve created, but am getting this error:The Fnd User “user.name” is used by 1 rows in another object (User Finance).I also get the following error when trying to remove the User from the Company:The User Finance “user.name” is used by 1 rows in another object (Purchase Authorizer).The Company is the only thing I can see left assigned to the User (which as above, it won’t let me remove):Running a database query against the USER_FINANCE view returns a result also: Other things I’ve triedI have deleted their Purchase Authorizer Substitute record Verified not in Purchase Authorization Basic Data screen Verified not in Invoice Posting Authorizers screenIs there other screens I need to check and delete the user from?
We are experiencing problems with the IFS Time Clock Client. A few of our users have reported seeing the following message when they went to the Time Clock Terminal System Exception Error object reference not set to an instance of an object Ifs.Fnd.AccessProvider.PLSQL.FndPLSQLSelectCommandReader.get_count() At Ifs.Fnd.AccessProvider.PLSQL.FndPLSQLSelectCommandReader.FndPLSQLSelectCommandReaderEnumerator.System.Collections.IEnumerator.MoveNext() We stopped Automatic Windows Updates months ago as we thought that this could have been the issue. Any ideas would be gratefully received.
Hi - When completing the Terminate Employee wizard, IFS prompts for Employee Status (After Termination). When i enter a value in this nothing changes, is there a background job or something that is supposed to run that changes the employee status? I feel like i am missing something obvious here?
Hello I am trying to create a new employee in a test environment and keep getting the below error.I can create the employee manually and all works ok. The new starter wizard must be calling an api that has a restriction on it but the error message is not helpful in telling what access is missing. has anybody else come across this issue? i can solve it by giving hr application manager permission but i don't want to do that at this stage I am using Apps 10 update 9
We enter an absence line in the result tab of time card for 4h with the tag “not removable” because the employee takes half a day of.Then on the day itself the employee will add a line “in normal” in the clocking tab and a line “out absence” total of 4h.After that we use a scheduled task that uses TIME_PERS_DIARY_UTIL_API.geerate_hours that calculates the result tab.But then we see that the calculated result gives us 3 lines:4h absence that we entered manually 4h work time as recorded 4h absence that was calculated to reach the 8h of their scheduleThe 3rd line should’t be added because we already put in 4h of absence.This looks like a bug to me or am I forgetting to add a parameter?
We are currently experiencing an issue with how the absence calendar is displayed. The way Windows 10's scaling works at 100% and above causes the absence calendar to be cut off on smaller displays even at 100% scaling. Do you experience the same issue? We would be pleased hear from you with a possible solution. Thank you in advance.
Hi I wanted to see if anyone has any setup documents or work instructions for IFS Time Tracker 10. I’ve found some setup information on the forums. I haven’t been able to find any work instructions for the actual app as well. I currently have a customer that is planning on using it but have requested more information and documentation. Hi everyone, Is there a way to setup IFS to update update an Outlook calendar with Absence Requests? For example a supervisor could see all absence requests from his team/supervised employees directly on his Outlook Calendar vs having to go to IFS and view each employee’s Absence calendar for a month. Hello I just set up the absence registration where I joined a wage code to an absence type.The balance of the wage code for person X is 8 days and the minimum value of the wage code is 0. The problem is that I can register 20 days of absence and I don’t get an error. I can also confirm all these days in the time card. Also I would like that there is some sort of order in the selection of the types of absence. Am I missing some setup for this? Kind regardsDavid
