We use IFS Cloud and use Revenue Recognition. We are changing our process and would like to start capitalizing the inventory accounts for POC. I can’t find any information on what the toggle on the Code String Account does when I turn it on. I have tested it, and it does what I need it to when I run the Periodical Capitalization and Revenue Recognition Project, but I’m concerned that it will affect our other projects/revenue elements that are not being capitalized. Can anyone tell me if this affects anything that is not being capitalized?
Currently there is a button in Request Contracts > Periodic Prices tab> Price Change that allows to update the price. I tried a standard migration job with INSERT and currently receive an error ORA-20105: PscContrProductPrice.NOMANINSERT: Lines can not be inserted manually.Is there another way this can be done for more than one request contract at a time? Hello IFS users,IFS10 APP i have a cases where few POs were created for inventory parts with price 0, GR done, however i cannot see them in Received not yet invoiced report. the reason for the POs creation is to give entry to these inventory parts within inventory count. thanks
Hi, I’ve had a look and a stab but looking for some assistance...I have a new process going in, which requires searching on the ‘Receipt Reference’ field of the Manual Supplier Invoice when matching the invoice.The PO number is not, and can not be, brought though when created via EDI.Can anyone advise how in Apps10 you can Index a field so it will search faster. The process works perfectly, but with the delay to search it will kill it from an End-User perspective.Thanks as always, Matt

FSM-I created a task & assigned to FSE from start date 26 Sep. He started the task on 25 Sep & now allocated start date visible on resource monitoring is 25 Sep. When I allocated the task, I used adjust to schedule feature that applied a calendar on resource & considered 12 hrs per day, so end date was 20 Oct but when he started the task, end date visible on res monitoring screen is 7 Oct which does not give correct picture as the person will work on it till 19/20 oct.
When the current translation field is edited in the company attribute translation window for an account, the account description cannot be changed from the accounts window. This behavior can be observed in other windows too: tax codes window, customer invoice types, supplier invoice types.Is it possible somehow to change such descripotions in desired languages? There is a workaround. But it is not effective too in certain instances.Workaround is: If the account description needs to be edited, use the company attribute translation window and change the relevant row with the language code.If more languages are used as the login language, then, add them to the ‘Company attribute translations’ window and edit the current translations of those as well. IFS application 10 UPD22 - IEE client We are trying to limit the number of devices a userid can be logged into IFS at the same time. We are working with Oracle Profile - Sessions / User. A value of UNLIMITED appears to allow an unlimited number of logins on multiple devices.A value of 3 (or more) appears to allow an unlimited number of logins on multiple devices.A value of 1, or 2, does not allow the userid to login, with the system responding with “invalid login credentials”. Have others got this working?The goal is to prevent sharing of accounts, requiring each user to log in with their own account.

"A Payer/Payee Identity does not exist"Account number 2222 is mapped under customer's electronic payment address.However, when loaded with the invoice number the customer is identified as the invoice number identifiers are already defined. Really appreciate if someone can direct me to get this corrected. Thank you.

We have a scheduled database task to run Cumulative Lead Time Calculation. It is scheduled to run weekly on Wednesday. Is there a way to tie this to a manufacturing calendar or limit specific dates? Christmas is on Wednesday this year and if we run it on a day with no scheduled work, the calculation will be incorrect.(Currently in Apps10)

In FSM, inside dispatch console, one criteria in a filter works at a time but not multiple like I used competency F3 & it filtered some resourcesWhen I use competency F5, it filters other resources but when I use both F3 & F5, it does not filter & show anything. We tried a little in our Testsystem but we are not sure about the cancellation of evergreen-contracts. Hi! We have experienced problems with the Share pool getting full. The common dominatiore seems to be that this has happened short time after installation. (3 times). This results in tens of thousans of queries stakking up in share pool memory until full ending up with users cant log on.The two last time we experienced this was in the middle of the night with very limited users (if any) in the system. We are wondering if the installation it self or the configuration of screens after installation could cause this issue.
