Has anyone ever succeeded in automatically mass installing and updating the Business Reporter add-on on employee computers when they connect to the company intranet? For example, is it possible to:Call the add on url or launch the .msi file automaticallyInstall the add-on in the backgroud...or to achieve these results through any other method? Hello. I have prepayments on a customer in a foreign currency. These are posted with different currencies. When all the payments have been made I would like to create a customer offset… however the customer offset uses todays currency rate…That means that values in accounting currency changes…I would either like it to pick the value from the customer analysis, -4925,50 orI would like the possibility to change the currency rate so that it reflects the value in the customer analysis. This might not look like an issue but the customer I have are dealing with prepayments between 50 000-100 000 Euro which means that it creates currency differences that shouldn’t exist. BRDenny
I have a Custom Logical Unit and I want to add an LOV field to it that displays a list of all employees. I know how to do that; using a custom field I can add a restricted reference that selects from a view.However I need it to be a view that displays all employees but does not require admin privileges.I am using IFS EE 10. We have Custom Fields present in our LU PurchaseOrderLinePart that we want to display in Purchase Order Lines for ease of use, management and reporting. How can we do this as PurchaseOrderLine does not appear in the Approved Detail Views and I am reluctant to recreate them all as Read Only CFs pulling from the PurchaseOrderLinePart if I don’t need to.Thanks,
Hello to the community, Some employees in a company were given another organization code recently. These employees register time through time registration window and have added project rows to their shortcut archive. These lines have the old organization code mapped and can’t be changed manually. When project transactions are created they have the old org code instead of the new one, since some posting types depend on the organization unit preposting, I was wondering if anybody had an idea about mass update of shortcut lines in time registration in order to keep the projects used in shortcut but to have updated org code Thank you Tanya

Good day. Still on the topic of Travel Allowances: Can you define more than one type of allowance which an employee is entitled to for the same day. Example - Employee gets a Daily Travel Allowance, an Inconvenience Allowance and, depending on the day of the week, could qualify for an additional Weekend/Public Holiday allowance. There could therefore be 3 allowances applicable for a specific day away from home. I have defined all three but the system only takes one of them for a specific day. I would appreciate guidance on how to set this up. Thank you.

HiI know that IFS 8 is not supported on Windows Server 2016 or later but did anyone actually tried to install it on that platform?We have IFS8 installation that needs to run for few more years as archive only (not in active use) and IT does not want to manage Windows 2012 any more. Upgrade to IFS 10 or IFS Cloud is not feasible. Neno

When trying to filter audits by dataset, if I select that i want all databases and select one dataset it filters to only the scheduling database for the selected dataset. I can filter specifically to see only modelling or scheduling of the dataset but i can’t see both with showing all databases and datasets. Any else experiencing this issue? Is this a bug in the UI?

Hi,I have a requirement as below. This is IFS Application 10.Once the “Work Task” report is executed, the customer would like to save the pdf report and all the work task related attachments into the external FTP location or Database Server Location.But the thing is, all the documents should be saved in the dynamic directory. It means, based on the Order Number, the file out path will be changed and that path should be used as the new location to save the report output and the attachments. Is this possible in IFS application 10?Using customization, can we dynamically generate the out file locations and transfer the relevant files into that dynamic file location based on the Order Nos?
