We have a single occurrence where a transfer to a Customer order, of the Work order (with 6 posting lines) has created 6 separate Customer orders. We have never had this occur previously. We are high used of Work orders, with multiple Posting linesAll lines have been posted on the same day,Any heads up would be useful Thank you in advnace/ash

Possibility to close the period for a user with a user group is not available in IFSThis is a request from a customer and I wonder whether the same received from any other ?Lets say there is a user group for AP where all AP users are connected this includes normal users and a super user.If in case you want to close the period for AP users but keep it open only for the super user, its not possible now. Because now you have to close the user group for the period !Workaround is to have more than 1 user group which is possible but a bit of extra admin.
We have quick report(s) which work fine in Apps 10 EE, however when the user goes to run the same report no data is returned. The quick reports are parameter driven so users can enter a value or leave blank.Current SQL parameter construct:where h.del_org_code like upper('%&DEL_Code%')and upper(h.POSITION) like upper('%&Position%') We changed the SQL parameter to the following to get it working in Aurena:where h.del_org_code like upper('%' || '&DEL_Code' || '%')and upper(h.POSITION) like upper('%' || '&Position' || '%') Has anyone come across this and do we know why the change is required to allow reports to work in Aurena?Thanks
The issue is there for the administrator of the default organization. I have tried log into the application from the administrator user and add the relevant views for the missing windows under the permissions from Administrator > Organization > Users > Permissions. But the relevant views were not available under the permissions. Could you please let me know how the screen permissions can be granted in a similar instance where the views are not available for the administrator for the default organization.
Hi, I’m in the process of an IFS9 to IFS10 upgrade project. In IFS9 there was an API method we used to create a picklist in the system for a shop order. We would then later use that created picklist to invoke a client print and pull the XML data for that shop order picklist from the database.The API we use in IFS9 is:IFSAPP.Shop_Material_Pick_Util_API.Create_So_Pick_List In IFS10 there is no such API and it appears that all the APIs that I can find to create picklists use private methods that I cannot invoke. Can I get some help to find a similar method to call? I basically just want to tell the system to create a picklist for all material on X shop order. Thank you!

Hello,I have no solution to fulfil the following request : on the product structure screen, the user needs to select an operation number on the grid field. For that, the user presses the F8 key to get a list of operation numbers. The request would be to prevent the user to select an operation with either a revision number or an alternate different from the header (so from the PROD_STRUCTURE_HEAD SQL view).My issue is : how can I know what revision + alternate + operation number is selected, in the case that I can have a same operation but different revisions / alternates? like on this screenshot : I have thought to make a custom pop-up but that’s not technically possible, so I’m out of idea.What can I do?Also, the user can have the possibility to use the keyboard to fill the operation number field : is that possible to prevent such an action? I’m looking for a screen that shows demand against package parts. It won’t show under the “inventory part availability planning” screen because these are picked to order. How would I see all open customer order lines for a package part and demand for the components in IFS? Do I have to look by component to see demand?
We run multiple inter-company sites where we buy/sell spares for ServiceSo, i have a Work order with 3 material lines, convert to PO and can use the P/O change order to update the order lines.However…I now need to add 2 additional material lines to this P/O via the change order. All good so far.When the P/O is receipted, only the 3 original lines are posted back to the work order, and not the 2 additional lines.Currently, we have to raise another Requisition to transfer to a P/O.Any idea how the change order line can be posted back to the work order, without a new requisition? Hi,On Apps 10 UPD15 - EE Client We are investigating the SRM Panel Outlook plugin.We have figured most things out, however the last piece of the puzzle is if there is a possibility for a Business Mail to auto select a Main Representative when it is created in IFS. For example:Whenever the ‘Save to SRM’ plugin option is selected in Outlook, the Business Mail is created in IFS. The only people who can see this record in IFS are Admin users (Or everyone if we have the ‘Include Records Without’ checkbox selected) As the user has to authenticate with their IFS login credentials, I would have thought there would be a way to auto set the Main representative (or at least give access to) for the business mail for the user who uploaded it into IFS. Ideally, we want to only have IFSAPP as the admin user and deselect the ‘Include Records Without’ and for the Business Mail to auto choose the Main Representative who will have access and then be further able to share the access accordingly. Need some assistance regarding the core functionality of 'FSM Mobile' client’s 'Task Note List'. One of the customers (Ericsson) reported the following issue on the PROD environment. "The mobile app is showing task notes in what appears to be a random order instead of being chronologically ordered from newest to oldest. It shows , with notes shown in the order - 1 hour ago, 4 hours ago, 2 hours ago, 2 hours ago"There were no configs or client scripts found that could relate in customer solution and in core environment it's not replicable. The document revision is created and we can view the associated pdf file.Now the customer creates an EDM document from a file called planABS.xlsx. No problem creating itNote: the two files have the same name but neither the same content nor the same extension.When the customer wants to view the Excel document, the system suggests viewing the original or the copy. By default, the option is on the copy. If it leaves the copy, the first PDF uploaded is opened (and therefore has nothing to do with the content of the Excel document). I have managed to create the translation for the "Characteristic Code", (MAT = Material), but I cannot create the translation for the "Characteristic Value Alpha". When i click RMB-"Transaltions" I am not able to add the characteristic values (1, 2, 3 etc). What is actually the "Attribute Key"? What is the right way to create characteristic values translations? Hi, before releasing a DOP, i would like to see and evaluate the multilevel structure using a interim order header. For configurable parts this works fine, but can’t I do the the same for a multilevel shop order which is not configured? I would like to see the same process as we would do in DOP header - create full level (so all the way down, both DOP and non DOP parts) Best regards!
In a MRO Shop order, we define the quantity of a material demand in the “Qty Per Assembly’ field. when we try to reserve the material , the system allows to reserve more than the qty mentioned in the Qty per Assembly field. at this moment system only throws an information message. after the first issuance of material, system allows to directly issue any quantity of material ( based on the availability in inventory ) to the shop order. at this point of time, system doesn't throw any error. Is there any way to configure the system to stop this behaviour such as site level setting to control it for MRO flow.As my understanding this is a standard functionality required for Batch Process Manufacturing. Any insight would be appreciated.
