How is place time zone being sent from FSM to PSO? How is it being used in PSO?

Hello,I am trying to determine how time zone on a FSM place record is being sent from FSM to PSO and/or how place time zone might be used in PSO. I have searched HTM & Scheduling dbs and only see time zone on resource and division/region. I have also checked the audits in PSO and I do not see anything related to a place’s time zone. I am not sure what data is being sent via integration, so I don’t know where to look there. I am aware of the app params in FSM client, App Param, SHOW_SERVER_TIME_ONLY & MOBILE_ENABLE_TIME_ZONE I am aware of the time zone setting under the Commit Rule in PSO, but now how that is used. If anyone has any insight how time zone on a place in FSM might be used in PSO or how the data regarding place time zone is sent over, I would appreciate a comment or two :)

IFS Unusually Slow

IFS is unusually slow, to the point you can no longer use lobby elements or perform simple query's. For instance the same query/lobby takes less than 5 seconds on Production and on the Satellite its takes up to 5 minutes. The database ran the Query in a couple of milliseconds.Some further information:1. No network issues, there server runs on a local network onboard.2. slowness it experienced everywhere in the APP particularly Active Work Orders and Measurement Registration when loading records greater than 100 lines.3. I am performing simple query's such as select MCH_CODE, PARAMETER_CODE, TEST_PNT_SEQ from EQUIPMENT_OBJECT_NEW where MCH_CODE like '3111%' and PARAMETER_CODE = 'ALARM' 4. The environment was restarted last Friday however no changes were made5. This issue was noticed last week6. There is very low resource usage in the MWS i.e CPU less than 5%We refreshed the Server yesterday as well as cleared the dictionary cache. Anyone have similar issues or have any solutions? Many t

Making suppliers inactive - Bulk

I have about 600 suppliers that the company has not used in a while and would like to make them inactive. Is it possible to do so without going through every single supplier and doing it manually. Also I would like to automate the process so that after a set time of not being used they go inactive. If anyone can point me in the right direction it would be greatly appreciated.

We have installed mandatory pre postings, however, this does not restrict or direct the user to the correct account. oradata has reached disk usage 90% level - how to find the problem objects?

We’re only 3 months live with Apps 10 UPD18 (hosted) and have had a proactive warning from IFS that “/oradata” has reached disk usage of 90%.I asked for more info and they gave us a list of the biggest objects:Looks like a HUGE (171GB in 3 months?!) problem with a particular LOB, but how do we interpret what a “SEGMENT_NAME” actually relates to in the system?I’ve gone back to Support to ask them for more info but if we can be self sufficient that would be good.

Winning a Business Opportunity Line

Is there a way to change the status of a Business Opportunity Line to “Won” without having to create a customer order from the Line? We have lines that are part of a bigger project that are technically “Won” but we can only cancel the line or create a customer order and then cancel the customer order.Seems that you should be able to Wim the Line like you can do at the Business Opportunity header.We are using Enterprise Explorer, version 10, update 13

Multiple line blanket purchase release

I have a supplier agreement blanket order for our fuel provider. We have three different types of fuel that are delivered together and invoiced on one invoice, three lines.Is there a way to create a release with multiple part lines? I have only been able to release one line with it’s own PO for each one, therefore three PO’s for each invoice.I would prefer to do one release for the three part lines on one PO.

Posting Analysis Transferred but no Voucher Generated

Good Morning, We are reviewing our Distribution and Manufacturing Postings Analysis Screen and noticed that we have a transaction that is transferred (Status Code 3) but no voucher was generated. It looks like the posting controls are setup correctly as we have no errors (M1 - Inventory & M5 - Receipt Without Purchase Order) showing on this transaction. This is a first time occurrence from the Distribution side for us because we usually clear errors and they push through as desired. Any help on this would be great as this is going to affect Month End Close. We are currently on Apps 10 Update 20 in IFS. Thanks

We are running IFS Apps 9, and we are having an error in Background Jobs for only two Sites when running Transfer Inventory Transactions. The Transactions are in status of 2 - Completed. Fetch raw data to Azure

I'm going to set up an Azure BI solution that is intended to read raw data from IFS Cloud with Data Factory and place it in a data lake. Then read it into SQL Server and create own dim and fact tabels. Then create tabular models in Analysis Services that Power BI can read from.Is it possible to fetch tables directly with Data Factory using IFSINFO, or is it only possible to fetch from access views?How have others done your BI solutions and data retrievals from IFS Cloud?

Error trying to cancel Purchase Order lines

Anybody have any idea what this error means and how to fix it? I am trying to cancel two PO lines that are obsolete. When I try to cancel, we get this error. Initiated from a Work Task Material Requisition. Work task is in work done status.

Zero charge on part with reason code

Hi,In our current system we cannot charge zero on a part unless we enter a predefined reason. I remember running into something similar in IFS in the past. I couldn’t charge zero on a sales part. Is this an option in IFS Cloud?

Mobile Edge Inventory look up

Hi we are running 15.4.8 and the technicians when looking up materials are seeing stock rooms with 0 QTY in them. I would like it to only show Stock Rooms with an actual QTY in them. From what i have found the only thing is a MOE setting that appears to be what i need however changing it made no difference and the techs still see stock rooms with 0 qty’s. The MOE was -10175 Stop Downloading Inventory with Zero SOH Quantity (Default= False. True=Stop, False= ContinueDoes anyone have any ideas ?Thanks

Repair order routing copied from dummy part

Hello. As a relatively new user to IFS, I am still learning how the system works. One of the issues in our organization is the amount of time it takes to create a repair order. In Oracle, when I created a rework/repair order, I was able to copy a routing from a dummy part that was used for all repair/rework orders. Is there a capability in IFS to create a dummy part to reference in the job for the routing that should be used? Having to create them for every part that may need to be repaired is cumbersome, so I am looking for a better way. Any ideas?Thank you!Robin

OpenAPI doc lists possible HTTP response codes, like this, see green and red lines: However, in real life, other codes are in use as well, for example 409: Our customer would like to have the full list, with corresponding response structure.Is it possible to have that from somewhere?Or at least, a corrected documentation?It is App10 UPD17.
