Manually Entered work task progress % get disappears

Hello Community, What necessary setups are required to calculate the work progress on Work Order screen?Since my client is not using HR module, I think I cannot use Man Hours concept to calculate the work progress.I have found that there is one field Work Task screen, but every time I enters progress % in that field, it disappears after saving the record.Values are auto filled when I connect it to a work progress template, but I would like the ability to manually enter progress % and this should get calculated to give cumulative Work Progress % for all work Task.Thanks, in advance.

IFS Developer Studio 18 - All Core Components Are Not Visible In 'Core' Files

One of the customer is facing an issue where in IFS Developer Studio 18 in the created project the components below 'person' are not visible as shown in the below image. After updating the Target Version to 24R1 GA, components up to 'wrksch' are visible but still cannot see the component 'wscope'. Product Version: 24.1.0Developer Studio Version: IFS Developer Studio 18 (Build 24.1.0142 2024-05-31) I have checked in IFS Developer Studio 18 (Build 24.1.0142 2024-05-31) and (Build 24.1.0169 2024-06-24) and couldn't recreate this issue since all the components until 'wscope' were visible as shown in the below image. Is there any explanation for the behavior?

IFS Cloud Pass Current User (Context Value)

I wonder if anyone can help with this one. I need to pass the current user as a parameter mapping for an execute action command group. I have tried everything I can think of but in previous version of IFS you could get the user via the database or use #USER_ID#. Is there a way of doing this in Cloud?

We have a cost on a work task (Non-Inventory Purchase Part). It is a refundable charge. I am trying to remove the cost from the Work Task. Is this possible, or at least change the cost?

Connect customer invoice to advance payment

Hello, I created and posted a customer invoice. Right after that I created and posted a final customer invoice. When the advance invoice was paid, the status of the final invoice remained “Posted Authorized”. IFS did not match the paid part advance invoice with the finale one. When I checked the postings I saw that the part related to advance invoice payment offset with the final invoice was not generated. Any thoughts why ? Best regards

customer transaction report difference

Hi all,Our accounting department came up with difference on the report which is ifs’s standard customer transaction report(pdf).The report that I had a bit chance to review details and noticed that an advance invoiced was matched 2 payment separately.(currencies: invoice usd, payment usd, company eur)The transactions probably proceeded as follows: IFS converted invoice currency into company currency and calculated difference due to rounding. Then posting control pp13 worked and added line for the amount of difference. (fx gains)I think the report shows wrong value and wonder that someone might have experience similar problem. It should have shown as 418,12 instead of 418,14. Previous IFS versions had duplicate option which copies user A’s permission sets, companies, sites to the new user creation.But in IFS cloud it’s not doing that.Is this setting issue or this option is no longer available in Cloud?

Send Email Flag from Sharing a Report in 23R2

Hello community! We’ve recently upgrade to IFS Cloud 23R2 from 23R1 and noticing the behavior of emailing from print buttons has changed. Prior to the update, by default the user’s email would be input on the print wizard, now our users have to select the “send email” flag each time they’re printing a report. Does anyone know of a way to revert the default behavior back to having the application permit the sending of an email by default? This wouldn’t save a ton of time per transaction, but it would save some time for quite a few transactions.

New Post: Automatically Backflush Component without a Shop Order when shipping.

Selling parent part number X and the manufacturing process is instantaneous when delivering the final product. Objective:Upon processing a delivery order, automatically backflush the component inventory without a shop order being processed. The final product would need to remain with the top level sale part numberIn other ERP systems, able to issue the component material directly to the delivery order with the proper configurations. I’ve attempted phantom at the component level but it seems it still requires a shop order to process. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Why Technicians are Restricted from Returning Parts to Other Warehouses?

For context, we have a site (Site A) with two connectedwarehouses: WH1 at location L1WH2 at location L2.Users are connected only to their specific warehouse (e.g., a user connected to WH1).When trying to return a part via a work order (WO), the "To location" dropdown only shows the location of the user's connected warehouse (in this case, L1 for WH1). However, technicians are unable to return parts to other warehouses (like WH2 at location L2).Why does the system restrict technicians from returning parts to other warehouses? Is there a way to configure or work around this limitation to allow returns to any connected warehouse?Thanks in advance for your help!

IFS Aurena: Currency rate cannot be zero or negative

Hi In Apps 9, my client can create a voucher that will have the parallel currency rate of zero, currency rate of zero, the currency rate change to PEN and the rate in parallel being PEN. They are doing this entry every month to correct a currency revaluation issue and reverse it at the beginning of the next month. The amounts would be zero, the currency amount would represent the PEN and would match the parallel currency amount. The problem is that the client is moving to IFS Aurena and it will not allow them to make the same type of entry. They receive an error: Currency Rate cannot be zero or negative. Has anyone came across this problem?

Lobby Datasource Designer - Performance Issues 23R2

I have noticed a significant difference in the way Lobby Datasource page is loaded.Every refresh it retrieves all the available queries in the sudo-selector, and I usually end up waiting a full minutes before the page will respond. Has anyone else experienced this behavior?Is there any solution?

Choice of user group when submitting Instant invoice

This question has already been submitted but not answered apparently:If we print an instant invoice there is the option of the User Group and then voucher type.However if we send the invoice (E-INVOICE), we cannot choose it, so it selects default ones.But that is not acceptable as we may need to select normal invoice voucher type or credit invoice voucher type. So how can we select this option prior to sending ? So far the only way is to send the invoice in error and then select the right voucher type from Invoice in Error view.(NB: we are using APP10 Entreprise Explorer upd13)

We are not able to publish the custom field created in transport task. Wadaco Cloud 22R2 SU3 - Scanit - Error "SiteVirtual has not....."

When connecting the Android phone to the IFS cloud 22R2 SU3… getting the below error…Came across the same issue before on Aurena version and solved by granting required permissions. Followed the same here and additionally ran the security_wadaco_mobile_user.ins on the DB as suggested before by Dario.Still no luck.Appreciate a solution for this situation.
