How to do error handling in workflows

Hello,I currently have a workflow that takes the sale amount of a customer order line and places that value in the customsvalue field automatically. We do this because customsvalue is the only field with prices that moves over to shipment proforma invoice. I am fully aware that IFS wants the order taker to define this field manually, but it is a requirement that we handle this automatically. The workflow that we currently have works fine, as it goes off of the event when a customer order line is created, but the only issue is when a sales quotation is converted to a customer order. I get the error message “Error occurred while processing the request: Unknown property used in expression, ${LineItemNo} Cause: Cannot resolve Identifier ‘LineItemNo’”How do I get around this issue so even the customer orders that are created from sales quotations work, and their customsvalue field gets populated? Any and all advise would be greatly appreciatedThanks,Bryan

How to print attached customer order documents when shipment delivery note is printed

Is it possible to add documents to a shipment?I am attempting to link Customer Orders to their respective shipments, so I can have documents on the Customer Orders be available for printing when shipments print their delivery notes.I have looked into Object Connection Transformations, but the connections available do not seem to work properly. How to print attachments automatically for shipments

Is there a way with either a workflow or report rule, that lets you print an attachment once an operational form is printed? I have attachments for shipments that I would like to have printed when I print the shipment delivery note. I have added the capability for attachments to be added to shipments.Any advise would be greatly appreciated.Thanks,Bryan

How to send email via workflow?

Hello, I am trying to use Camunda mail-send connector via a service task in my workflow for IFS Cloud. I’m not 100% sure if I’m using the extensions tab of the workflow properly:but I followed the Camunda instructions for calling mail-send and this is what my task looks likeI’m getting this error when I try to run the workflow though:If anyone has experience sending emails via a workflow, please let me know. Why are fields defaulting? 22R2

Hello, Currently, there is a field on the Supplier for Purchase Part page called “discount %”. It is set to mandatory from the get-go, but it also automatically defaults to zero, so the mandatory setting is a bit useless since it will never not have a value unless you delete the zero. Is there any way I can remove this zero from defaulting onto the field so we can make sure users are entering the correct value? I would normally create a workflow to do this but since this is before the part is created, it doesn’t seem like it would work. Thanks,Bryan

How to automatically close a Business Opportunity when expiration date gets hit

Hello, I am attempting to have Business Opportunities automatically close when it passes their expiration date. I have used workflows and scheduled database tasks before, but there does not seem to be a way to create a database task to schedule it to run every day to check for expired Business Opportunities, and there does not seem to be a way to schedule a workflow to run every day. I’m not aware of any projection actions or event actions that get run every day.What can I use to achieve what I’m looking for? Any and all advise would be greatly appreciated.Thanks,Bryan

How to schedule a workflow to run daily

Hello, I have asked this question before but I would like to get final confirmation that IFS Cloud does not currently support the ability to schedule workflows to get run. Workflows can only be run via an event action or projection action. Is this correct? Everything else is a work around that IFS Cloud is not intended to do. Thanks,Bryan

Scheduled Database Task to close Business Opportunity

Hello, I would like to automatically close a Business Opportunity when it expires (expiration date = today’s date). I wanted to do this via a Workflow, but sadly, you can’t schedule workflows to run daily, they have to be based off of a projection action or event action. I looked at scheduled database tasks, and I found the method Set_Closed for Business Opportunities, but sadly, the scheduled database task I set is not working. I have this set up so far:I added the “Expiration_date” parameter. Whenever this is run, I get this error: “ORA-20115: BusinessOpportunity.The "Business Opportunity" has already been removed by another user.”and no Business Opportunities close. Am I missing something? I’ve worked with some scheduled database tasks before that automatically create pick lists and reserve customer order items, but this is the first time I’ve seen parameters that (I’m assuming) are passed into the API to set the BO as either Won or Lost. How to call Server Methods/PlSQL functions

Hello,I currently have a custom event and event action that sends an email out. I would like to have a custom attribute on the custom event that gets the email we need to send to. This is currently what I haveSadly, this ends up in an error, no matter the formatting. I’ve tried just using BusinessOpportunityHandling.GetDefaultsForSendMail and multiple different formats, but nothing works. Can someone please show me how to properly do this? all of the ifs documentation shows are actual API calls like:but when you go to API Explorer in IFS Cloud, there are no actual “APIs” like this, only projections, which as I understand it, are oData API’s. How to automatically print and advance invoice with specific payment terms?

Hello,For specific advance invoices that come from our online store processing, we’d like that these invoices get automatically set to “PostedAuth”. How to automatically reserve shipments/ shipment lines?

Hello, I would like to automatically reserve all available shipment lines/shipments for shipment orders. I have done this for Customer Orders where I automatically reserve lines via a database task (I have it scheduled to run every 2 minutes), but there doesn’t seem to be any database task that can achieve the reservation for shipments. The reservation button for shipments is a projection action called StartShipmentMainSingle for the ShipmentHandling projection. Since you can’t schedule projection actions as database tasks, how can I achieve this? Any and all advise/input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks,Bryan

Projections missing in 23R1 from 22R2?

Hello, Has anyone else noticed that a few projections are missing from 23R1’s list that were previously in 22R2? We noticed that some projections, such as CustomerReceiptHandling is available in 22R2 but is gone in 23R1, which is causing issues for us since we are having issues with register arrivals and RMA processes. How to set up payment reminders based off of due dates

Hello,Is there a way to configure the payment reminders to send out only based off of the due date? For example, we want to send payment reminders to customers only when an invoice on their account is 15 days old and again when their invoice is 30 days old. It seems like payment reminders in IFS include all invoices in their reminders and you cannot separate these… additionally you cannot send these based off of dude dates… Other than doing this with custom event actions, is there another way to set this up? Does anyone use Checks in IFS?

Hello,Does anyone use Checks in IFS? We used to handle all of our checks in our previous ERP but when trying to incorporate them in IFS, we can print some off using the Laser Check printing operational report, but this report doesn’t handle Routing numbers, account numbers, etc, basically most of the fields that are important when dealing with checks. We are considering using Check Docs, but we wanted to see if anyone using IFS handled their checks differently. We’d like to find the best way to handle our checks, so if anyone has any input, that would be greatly appreciated.Thanks,Bryan

Event action not sending email?

Hello,I’m using IFS Cloud. I currently have a custom event and an event action that should send an email every time a Business Opportunity closes. For some reason, even when the mail sender is on, emails aren’t being sent. Does anyone know why this might be the case? Everything looks fine to me.My Custom Event: Custom Attribute defined in the Custom event above My Event action When I close a Business Opportunity with the Reason ID of 40, nothing happens.

Aurena Agent issue

Hello, We currently have an ongoing issue for some users regarding the Aurena Agent. Some users report that they cannot upload or download files due to the following error.- EdmFile.The "EDM File" has already been removed by another user.- Something went wrong when uploading the file using the Aurena Agent. Error message: Missing or empty mandatory parameter: odataWe have added the correct permissions to said users and have confirmed that the users have installed the .msi file and the chrome extension correctly.Any and all advise would be greatly appreciated.Thanks,Bryan

IFS Cloud Report Designer Company Logo not appearing

Hello,I am trying to get our company logo to appear on the built in .rdl reports that come with IFS Cloud, but they aren’t appearing. The IFS logo doesn’t appear either, which I thought was weird, but when I delete it, and add my own logo (I’ve mapped the image location to my local machine, renamed the file to complogo, converted the png to a gif, added it to the proper folder location), nothing appears on the form. All other changes appear, but anything to do with images wont work. I’d appreciate any help.Thanks,Bryan

IFS Cloud Crystal Reports error

Hello,I am currently having trouble with my Crystal Report in IFS Cloud. How to fix IFS Cloud Crystal report error

Hello,I have created a crystal report for a customer order Pick list, but when I try to view the report in quick reports, I get this error I configured the selection formula to match the IFS result key on the Customer order pick list rep view’s result key as seen in an IFS Cloud tutorial, but still no luck viewing it on this page. Does anyone have experience with configuring crystal reports? Do I NEED to have crystal web services? because currently, I am not using itThanks and any response would be appreciated,Bryan
