Hi Sevo,Once the report has finished executing it should be updated in the Report Archive Sometimes it may be easier to filter as needed from the Operation Reporting options in the navigator You can click on your report in the Report Archive and use the Right-Mouse-Button option to “Show BR Report”

ETC Spreading Formula in Project Forecasting through Profile

Hi Thushan,To supplement Johan’s response, if you are spreading an ETC of 10,000 with your initial 4-4-5 profile, and if your activity has 100 working days, it would mean that the spread profile would break down the ETC into 10 working days with an estimate of 1,000 each (100 for each work day)Now, your activity start date and end date seems to span 11 accounting periods from start to finish. Assume that there are 5 working days only in the first accounting period, 2022-07, then the profile spread would only be 500 for that. If period 2022-08 has 22 working days as per project calendar, then the spread would be 2200 for that, and so on and so forth.Essentially, the value per working day is decided based on which block that day will fall into, and the distribution you have attributed to that block. The spread for each accounting period will be determined based on the which sequence of those working days fall into that period.The spread profile exists so that there is an easy, repeatable

Copy sub project function is not copying the report code.

Hi ,The Copy Sub Project function does have an option to select Report Codes as well.This is taken from the Activity Level and seems to work fine. Or are you referring to an alternate scenario?

Shop Order - Machine Cost

Hi @GayanD , Regarding the latter question - Issuing manually from the material line will create a SOISS transaction, while using the material action from the order header to issue automatically will create a BACFLUSH transaction.Similarly , using the backflush option during receipt will also create a BACFLUSH transaction. What is Back Fulsh , Auto Report of Operations and Simplified Material check and its uses while reciveing shop orders.

Hi @Deepak , In the general process of handling a Shop Order (SO), you will reserve and issue material as per the quantity required on each material line and the operations will be reported by shop floor employees as per setup and finally you will receive the lot from the Shop Order. What these options provide is the option to skip the general steps mentioned and handle the order in a quick flowSimplified material check will remove the system check that verifies if all the material as per the SO material lines were issued. Even if the full material quantity was not issued to the SO, receiving the SO will be allowed. But it is still required that each material line is at least partially issued. Auto Reporting of Operations will mean that all operations in the SO will be completed at once, but standard labour and machine costs will be fetched based on the setup.Backflush can be used to reserve and issue all the material in the order from default locations as per the quantity required (as

MCPRENABLE property to be set up in both companies (Supplier and Customer). This is mandatory. Other useful properties that are available to be set up. The Employee related ones to be set up in the “Customer Company” i.e the Belgian company in your case, that will help with automatic employee creation

Multi-Company Project Reporting Step-by-Step Required

Hi @ronhu ,In Multi-Company Project Reporting (MCPR), your employees would still need to report to their own project, using a report code from that project. In this case , the Canadian Employee would need to report to a Canadian “Supplier Project”.To explain in detail, assume Company 600 is the Supplier Company where your engineers are employed. You will need to create a project there with necessary reporting codes. The customer in this project will be your other subsidiary in Belgium (internal customer).Similarly, you will need to have a project in your Belgian company (410 in below example) with the necessary Work-Breakdown Structure and Report Codes. This is connected to final customer who will be invoiced.You can then connect two activities from these projects in the window “Multi-Company Project Reporting Activity Link Setup” (Other options are also available from each each activity and Sub-Project to do the same setup if you so wish) There is a HR setup done in each company in “C

Project Time Corrections

Only the applied date is visible from the client since ,for all general purposes, the correction transaction would be in effect for the same date as the original project transaction and the date that the correction was made is not relevant.You can, however, view the ROWVERSION information on the PROJECT_TRANSACTION_TAB from the database and that would include the timestamp when the correction was actually performed.You could explore if there is a possibility to make that visible as a custom item, but there may be technical limitations/ design aspects that prevent that

When a user runs a Business Reporter report via Order Reports not data is being displayed

@johnw66 ,Do you also have access from a functional point of view to the company/ companies used in the company.?If you think it is a permission issue, and you have permissions granted to FACT_GL_BAL_SET_ANALYS_DM , I assumed you have already queried for data in the FACT_GL_BAL_SET_ANALYS_DM and have come across similar results?

Limit user's access to a specified project/s

Hi @PennyB ,Project Access is the only setting that can govern which users add which projects, as far as I can think of. Why not create a project team that has access to all projects (including new ones by default) and add all users to it? And create a separate team where you would add these other user (for example, contractors) and give specific project access for that team?There would still be, admittedly, a bit of maintenance involved.Regards,Pradeep
