Hey, I am able to copy the templates from one user to an other (via Base Profiles). But I am not able to set the “user templates” as default.I would like to save myself the time here. Does anyone here have a better idea? Best regards, Raphael

Work Order with 2 service techs

How does IFS handle a work order that needs to be assigned to two technicians? Sometimes we need to send 2 technicians out on a call. We do have a lead technician but we want to be able to see that both technicians are not available to schedule.

No PDF Report returned from Crystal Web Services

Hi,We are upgrading to Apps9 Upd 17. this installed fine, but then discovered we have to install the CWS. in our setup IFS configured both our Live and Test system to use the same CWS. So to enable us to test Upd 17 I have installed CWS on another server temporarily. I have followed IFS guide to install and configure this and all seams to be setup correctly but when I try to print any Crystal Reports i get the error “No PDF Report returned from Crystal Web Services”In the CWS logs it is finding the report OK but then it gives the following error:- “16/09/2020 14:31:30[IFSCRWebSetup]-Failed to load database information. Custom Field not showing in Shop Order Operations

Hi,I tried to add two custom fields to screen Shop Order Operations in IFS10 Upd6. The fields don’t show up however.With https://community.ifs.com/technical-issues-101/why-is-it-that-created-read-only-custom-field-on-gl-voucher-row-analysis-window-not-shown-2710 I thought I solved the issue. However that is not the case.My situation is:Image 1 - Shop Order OperationsApparently a join is used (image 1 item 1). The fields (image 2 item 2) don’t show up, neither are they available on the left as hidden columns.Image 2 - Custom Field definitionAs you can see the fields are Approved and Published. The LU is synchronized. The Join view (image 2 item 1) is also Approved and Published.I’ve reloaded the Shop Order Operations screen. Logged out and in again. Refreshed the page.I have the idea that when a join is in place, custom fields are a no go. Who helps me with showing I’m wrong.Regards,Steve

/Tax Template Field Control / S089 is missing template field “OUTPUTVATEU” as a Field to select. But OUTPUTVATEU is within Tax Template Field Control Basic. Could you advise what might be causing this?

Trip Tracker - Attach Photos to Mileage Claim

Is there a way to attach a Photo in Trip Tracker to a Mileage claim? We would like users to attach their fuel receipt when claiming Mileage, however to Photo option does not appear under the Mileage section. The photos option only seems to appear when entering an expense claim in the ‘Receipts’ section. As a work around we have created an Expense Code called ‘FUEL RECEIPTS’ and asked users to attach the claim using this expense code. Expense claims don’t allow 0 value lines so we ask them to enter 0.01. Allow we can default this line to non-reimbursable, it’s not ideal and could easily be avoided if we could add photos via the mileage entries.

Discrepancy Between Customer Schedule Forecast and MS

We’re importing Customer Schedule Forecasts into Master Scheduling. It’s working but I have a discrepancy I can’t account for. Customer Schedule Lines show a forecast between 2 customers for a total of 3456 Master Scheduling MS Level 1 Part shows a total forecast qty of 3434 Any ideas why these would differ?

Set Due date customer Invoice to print date

Dear all,Is it possible to recalculate the due date of a customer invoice when it is printed?The due date of an invoice is based on the payment that attached to the customer.When a customer has a payment term that sets the due date to for example 30 days in the future the due date will be set on 31-8 when I create the invoice on 01-08.If I don’t print it that day but for example on 05-08 the due date stays on 31-08.Due to the agreement with the customer the due date must also be set to days after 05-08So 04-09 must be the new due date.How can that be done?

Scheduling of Order Reports

HiWe are currently using IFS Apps 8 and would like to know if it is possible to schedule IFS Order Reports such as the Received - Not Yet Invoiced report as shown below: We are not so much interested in printing or producing the PDF of the report but just to facilitate the population of the REP table which is used for reporting purposes. When we create a material requisition from mobile, the back office see’s the planned line. The back office wants to Manually Reserve and move the reservation with a transport task. IFS will do this. The created transport task can be seen from mobile under “Receive Reserved Parts”. When we try to receive and issue we get the following error:

Good Morning Community.We are using IFS version 8.How can I restrict creation of shop order for specific part nos by unauthorized users.If part no is ABCD-OOGH-0001,ABCD-OOGH-0002,ABCD-OOGH-0003,ABCD-OOGH-0004then user jack can create the shop order for this part but not other users.
