Set Due date customer Invoice to print date

Dear all,Is it possible to recalculate the due date of a customer invoice when it is printed?The due date of an invoice is based on the payment that attached to the customer.When a customer has a payment term that sets the due date to for example 30 days in the future the due date will be set on 31-8 when I create the invoice on 01-08.If I don’t print it that day but for example on 05-08 the due date stays on 31-08.Due to the agreement with the customer the due date must also be set to days after 05-08So 04-09 must be the new due date.How can that be done?

Scheduling of Order Reports

HiWe are currently using IFS Apps 8 and would like to know if it is possible to schedule IFS Order Reports such as the Received - Not Yet Invoiced report as shown below: We are not so much interested in printing or producing the PDF of the report but just to facilitate the population of the REP table which is used for reporting purposes. I get error message TASK_RESOURCE_SEQ when I try to open sheet Time Reports on a work order task… I have checked that everything regarding this has been granted in the role I am using for test.

mWo Service 10 Receive and Issue

When we create a material requisition from mobile, the back office see’s the planned line. The back office wants to Manually Reserve and move the reservation with a transport task. IFS will do this. The created transport task can be seen from mobile under “Receive Reserved Parts”. When we try to receive and issue we get the following error:

Shop order restriction

Good Morning Community.We are using IFS version 8.How can I restrict creation of shop order for specific part nos by unauthorized users.If part no is ABCD-OOGH-0001,ABCD-OOGH-0002,ABCD-OOGH-0003,ABCD-OOGH-0004then user jack can create the shop order for this part but not other users.

Requirement is assigning technician for a task in FSM on the basis of match between his skill and product skill and availability of technician. Process has to be automated. EDI 820 Payment Order and 844 Product Transfer Adjustment

Does IFS Apps 10 have an XML schema for an EDI 820 Payment Order or EDI 812 Credit Adjustment (used for credit memos) and an EDI 844 Product Transfer Adjustment? We have a 3rd party EDI translator that we use with IFS and we have several customers requesting us to use the EDI 820 or 812 document for credit invoices and the 844 document for chargebacks. I’ve searched the IFS Interface Browser but have not come across anything yet. I’m looking at using the SendInvoice XML schema to generate the 812 EDI file keying off of the series ID of CR but have not tested it yet. If anyone else has a solution for this, any insight is appreciated!

I know with the old mWo we were not able to do pre-posting from mobile. Is there an Aurena action button we can create to do pre-posting from mobile? Has anyone tried this?

Create sales quotation for non existing parts

Hello,We are implementing Apps 10 and currently brainstorming around a situation with Sales Quotation.Requirement in the interim is to be able to generate Sales Quotation for Parts currently not existing in the system. Idea is to be able to send out quotes and create Parts (and BOMs) only when the deal is won and want to avoid creating Parts just for Quoting. Using Estimator could be one way but that is not preferred in the interim.Happy to receive suggestions. Thanks!

Navigation with IAL's

I have an IAL i have made combining 6 different tables. I am using it to create a counter tile. I can call the IAL in the data source designer fine but when i try to navigate from the tile i made with the IAL to a view I get this error. I know that the part_product_code is part of the view that I am trying to navigate to. Ordering parts from a PM

Hi, hopefully you will be able to help. We are on apps 8 and my team would like to set up within a PM an automatic ordering system of parts for vehicle servicing (just to start with more to follow). However, we would like the system to order the parts 2 weeks before the generation of the PM. Is this something apps 8 offers or is this something that can be created as an add-on? thanks
