Shop order : Custom Menu linked to a save search

Hello,In Shop order screen , tab Opérations, I created a customized menu which gives me all the operations of a certain type number and I would like to have direct access to this list with a last line which sums up the remaining machine times in the operations screen.So I carried out a saved search in the operations screen with the last line giving me the sum.Is it possible to directly link the customized menu with the saved search ?see below screenshots containing the example of the custom menu Thanks in advance. Reversing Entries using M and R Function Groups

HelloI created two new voucher types ASM and ASR and turned on the Simulation Voucher flag as I wanted to test the entering of a Manual Voucher and have the reversing entry automatically be created by IFS to reverse the posting in the next month. I then created a Manual ASM Voucher but cannot determine if a reversing entry for the next month has been created or not.Is there anyway to see/test that the reversing entry has been created? Measure Unit and MRP

Hi, we use raw materials in the form of bars, whose inventory measurement units are kilograms. MRP does not work properly when we add the remaining parts to our stock after the cutting process. For example, let's say that after cutting 2 pieces of 6 meters in length, it increases by 2 pieces of 3 meters. How can we access the information that it is not in the warehouse when there is a need for 1 piece of 4 meter raw material afterward? We don't want to open separate codes for each length. MRP works independently of the characteristics. If we define the length and number data to the characteristics; Can we run MRP according to characteristics? In addition, for example, if we have 1 piece of 4 meter and 5 meter raw materials and we need 1 piece of 3 meter raw material, how can we get MRP to choose the 4 meter raw material?

Repair WO - error message

Hi All, Our customer is using the APPS10 - Repair WO assistant to generate repair WO’s. However we are running into an error message and we’re not sure why it happens. The error statement is: “Work Tasks cannot be created for Objects in Object Level SITE’. Unfortunately I dont have a clue which object is referred to.The Serial Object we are using is ‘10005601-4010’. This object itself has no level. It is attached to Functional Object M507 which is on Object Level ‘SYSTEM’, which is already 3 levels below ‘SITE’ as you can see from the attached printscreens. And the Object ‘TOOL’ is defined as level ‘BUILDING’ which is also 1 below ‘SITE’. Does anybody have any hints to this error? AM I overlooking something here? Best RegardsRoel

Sales Qty - No decimals allowed

Hi All, I am trying to force the user to use Sales Qty = integers for a certain product (no decimals allowed).In order to do so, I was under the assumption we needed to use UoM = ‘PCS’ with UoM Type = ‘Discrete’ and this will set our Qty Calc Rounding automatically to 0. If I understand everything correctly this would be the right set-up. However, when I tried this, the system allowed me to deliver a Sales Qty = 0,1. Does anybody have an idea what I am doing wrong here? Thanks for the input! Best RegardsRoel

Barcode (ZPL) labels using Script Plugin

We are implementing Apps 10 and I’m trying to get barcode labels to print using the Script plugin. I’ve created a RPL file, added the layout to the ‘Handling Unit Content Label’ report. I can use Order Report to request the label and it will say it’s completed Where I think I’m getting stuck is how do you map the Logical Printer to the physical printer in this case? I’ve been through the F1 Technical Docs a number of times and to me it’s not clearly spelled out how this happens. Also this is in a IFS hosted cloud installation if that makes a difference.

Inventory of cut raw materials

Hello there,For example, FULL ROUND(BILLET) Ø18 C1040K, which is kept in the inventory in mm but invoiced in kg. We have raw materials. This raw material is taken in 6000mm length and is consumed by cutting. Again, the cutting amount is given in mm in our work orders. When we keep it in a single inventory card, we have difficulty in finding the workable size because we see the total mm length. Our example scenario is as follows.There are 3 pieces of Ø18 C1040K bought in 6000mm length. It was used over time and 3 iron bars in the form of 80mm, 50mm and 20mm remained. When there is a 90mm cut in my work order, the available amount is seen as sufficient, but there is no actual amount available. Since mrp sees the total amount when it is run, it does not create a purchase request. We cannot overcome this problem with W/D/R because mrp does not see it. We do not want to open separate inventory cards for each size. These opened duplicate cards make the system unmanageable.What we are wonderi

Doc Man: attaching in Manual Customer Invoice - doc not pulling through anywhere else

Hi, We are IFS 8. user. We have successfully attaching documents on AP side using Manual Supplier Invoice screen and being able to view the documents on Supplier Invoice Analysis screen. However, it doesn’t seem to work on AR side. We are attaching documents on Manual Customer Invoice screen, but they are not pulling through on Customer Invoice Analysis screen. Use of Contract Change orders to track and forecast project variations

We are Australian Construction business using CCOs with Projects and sales orders to track and connect to Activities and budgets once approved. Monthly reports and native content in IFS is causing issues. CCOs once spread remain in past months which is resulting in incorrect values for Cost to complete and rev recognition and billing forecast seems difficult to capture.Would appreciate document or contact with anyone using Projects and obtaining comprehensive monthly project reports without issue. Are CCOs the best way to track Project variations??

Hi All,We have an issue in Apps 9.0 where OHQ in Inventory Part is 13 and the Inv Transactions for the same part is coming to be 29 there are 16 qts which are missing.OHQ should be 29 as per my investigation.PO was received and inspected at 3 different locations and later returned for rework. Fixed extra percentage in part price - IFS9

Hi,Because of the rising of transportation price very often, my financial director sked my if IFS has a way to add an extra percentage to the price (with out use CHARGE option).Example: Price of part X = 1000. Every time this part is add to a customer order we need that the price be Price (1000$) + 4%.Does anybody knows a way to do this? Thanks, Gianni

ODATA REST call return 403 with access token using IFS IDP user

I am trying to fetch employees from IFS using ODATA REST endpoint via postman. I am passing access token as Authorisation Bearer token. I am getting http response 403 status code. REST endpoint : https://IFS-SERVER/int/ifsapplications/projection/v1/EmployeesHandling.svc/CompanyPersons We have enabled Default Identity assertion, which points to use Azure AD IDP. We have also enable Database identity provider, which points to IFS DB. I have generated token using both authorisation code and password grant type, but when used that access token to retrieve an employee I am getting 403 http response status code. ROPC Access token generation is shown below, please check values I am passing -

App10 IEE - losing Mandatory Fields on user profiles

We are running Apps10 UPD10We use the Mandatory tab under properties to made additional fields required. But, some of these settings seem to be clearing and we don’t know why. We use base profiles to distribute required fields setting and users do not have access to properties to remove these fields. Does anyone know if applying Updates would change the mandatory field setting in user profiles? Does anyone know how I can create a database report listing current mandatory fields in user profiles? The idea is we could monitor that report for changes, catch and correct these changes as they happen, and hopefully find cause so we can prevent it
