We are running Apps10 UPD10

We use the Mandatory tab under properties to made additional fields required.  But, some of these settings seem to be clearing and we don’t know why.  We use base profiles to distribute required fields setting and users do not have access to properties to remove these fields.  

  1. Does anyone know if applying Updates would change the mandatory field setting in user profiles?
  2. Does anyone know how I can create a database report listing current mandatory fields in user profiles?  The idea is we could monitor that report for changes,  catch and correct these changes as they happen, and hopefully find cause so we can prevent it
