Hi all,How to create a permission set that only allows (New + Modify) rather that giving full or read only access in IFS Cloud?Users are only allowed to create new and edit existing data. Deletion of data is not allowed.Example : Sales part from sales categoryThanks.

Basic or Master Data Sheet (template) for implementation start

In times when I worked for IFS myself (now I am with a customer) there used to be a Master Data spreadsheet that helped as a template to start digging into what master data have to be looked at in each functional area and also to assign responsibilities in the organisation. Is there still something out there?

Filter in Consists of Tab of Engineering Part Navigator is cleared when selecting different part numbers.

We use the filter a lot on the Consists Of tab in the Engineering Part Navigator. We look for, say, a specific Drawing Position and create a filter for that. We then select different part numbers from our selector and we expected that the filter remains in place. The system used to work this way.We’re now on 23R1 and the filter is worse, now. As you as you select a different part number, the filter that was set on the first part is removed and the filter section collapses. So not only can’t you use the same filter while selecting different part numbs, but you also have to re-expand the filter section in order to re-enter the criteria.I view this as a significant reduction in the useability of the UX.Is there any way to put this back the way it was before 23R1?Patrick

DOP Netted orders are partially reserverd after release

Hi, After creating, releasing and netting a DOP structure, we have multiple shop orders generating the same end product. We merge these shop orders, in a planned status, into one order. However, if we now release that one shop order, IFS only reserves the components which were in the initial shop order. The components that come from the ‘old’ shop orders, are not reserved. However, everything was netted. The reserve/issue method of that SO is “Backflush” If we take a look at the “new” shop order, under ‘DOP Supply orders’, all components are listed there. The supply type is inventory reservation. In “inventory part reservation screen”, we see that the part from the “original” shop order are reserverd, the ones from the “old” shop orders are still netted to the DOP. Any experience with this?

Aurena Navigation - Next Record in a table screen

Hi Community,Does any one know how to navigate from one cell to another vertically.Ex: Project Activity Progress needs to be manually updated. I am trying to find how can I use the keyboard to move to the cell below my cursor. Usually down arrow key takes you, but in Aurena that doesn’t work. Especially for a data entry person like (finance / AP / Accounting) this is going to be challenging without a keyboard shortcut.Version Apps 10 Upd 15. Thanks in Advance!Malik

Custom Event on product structure - select an operation no

Hello,I have no solution to fulfil the following request : on the product structure screen, the user needs to select an operation number on the grid field. For that, the user presses the F8 key to get a list of operation numbers. The request would be to prevent the user to select an operation with either a revision number or an alternate different from the header (so from the PROD_STRUCTURE_HEAD SQL view).My issue is : how can I know what revision + alternate + operation number is selected, in the case that I can have a same operation but different revisions / alternates? like on this screenshot : I have thought to make a custom pop-up but that’s not technically possible, so I’m out of idea.What can I do?Also, the user can have the possibility to use the keyboard to fill the operation number field : is that possible to prevent such an action? javax.net.ssl.SSLHandshakeException: Remote host terminated the handshake

Hi @dsj For one of our integration requirements we are using Mutual Authentication from IFS cloud to another third party application for that using openssl we generated the .csr and provided to the signing authority and got the .cer file and we generated the .pfx file using .cer and .key file and uploaded into IFS cloud.we created the routing address in that we provided the ssl:KeyStoreId as well.Here is the attachment how we did it. below is the error message we are getting could place have look and suggest where we are wrong. The version i am using here 23R1 SU3 Error :ExecutionException from Sender thread Caused by: ifs.fnd.connect.senders.ConnectSender$TemporaryFailureException: Exception while sending data Caused by: javax.net.ssl.SSLHandshakeException: Remote host terminated the handshake Caused by: java.io.EOFException: SSL peer shut down incorrectly

IFS Reloading every time

I am using IFS 8. Every time some users connect to IFS, the screens are reloaded. What is the reason of this? Normally, when the data is loaded in the apps folder, the page should not be reloaded. I couldn't figure out why this is happening to some users.

Part cost calculation per deviating amount

Our customer manufactures parts in batches of thousands of pieces. The cost per part is very low, like a couple of cents. In their old system, they are used to calculate parts per 1.000 pieces so that they get more accurate information on part cost.In IFS Cloud, we prefer not to change the inventory UoM to 1.000 pieces since this would impact shop order planning and sales.This method will be applicable, for example, in the plastics processing industry, injection molders dealing with multiple cavaties.Companies with raw materials in kg and small manufactured parts in grams.Is it possible to calculate part cost per 1.000 pieces somehow?Are there users that have similar requirements and how have you handled it?

How to troubleshoot/fix Value Conversion for an outbound integration not occuring as expected

I am using IFS FSM to send an outbound message from our system to a customer’s ticketing system. I am trying to use value conversions to translate our request_unit.model_id to the customer’s system subcategory field. The lines have been set up, with some of the values below, however, when triggering this integration, the values provided are not being converted. This is the output provided by my tests below- you can see that the input is still the “value from” rather than the expected “value to” "request": { "location": "0901", "channel": "virtual_agent", "category": "LAPTOP-GS", "subcategory": "LAPTOP-GS", "priority": "3" } How would I go about troubleshooting this to determine why it has not converted?
