IFS Cloud Report Designer Company Logo not appearing

Hello,I am trying to get our company logo to appear on the built in .rdl reports that come with IFS Cloud, but they aren’t appearing. The IFS logo doesn’t appear either, which I thought was weird, but when I delete it, and add my own logo (I’ve mapped the image location to my local machine, renamed the file to complogo, converted the png to a gif, added it to the proper folder location), nothing appears on the form. All other changes appear, but anything to do with images wont work. I’d appreciate any help.Thanks,Bryan

Projection call is broken in IFS Cloud

Hello, The AddSourceLinesToShipment(Selection):String projection call for the projection SourceLinesAvailableForShipmentsHandling seems to need modifications done to it. It is currently not usable for a workflow, and when I try to call it, I get this error below. Anyone from IFS who can fix this, please do so. There is currently no other way to go about automating this process, the projection call is needed to add lines to shipments. Thank you,Bryan

Fixed Freight Amount not appearing on Order Confirmations

Hello,For the Order Confirmations for Customer Orders, the Fixed Freight amounts don’t appear on these forms. I have them accessible on Invoices but not on Confirmation of Customer Orders. The Delivery Term for fixed freight has the calculate freight charge set to yes, and the collect freight charge also set to yes. How do I get these to appear on this form? I’ve gone through the view via a quick sql report and there were no records of the fixed freight amount.Any and all advise would be greatly appreciated.Thanks,Bryan

Custom Fields on reports not being updated

Hello, I have created a handful of custom fields (type read-only) that I have included in operational reports. For example, I have balance due and customer PO fields on the collective invoice form. There is an issue where, if someone has a customer order that gets invoiced into a collective invoice, but changes their PO, when the collective invoice is first printed off originally, the PO comes up as the updated PO but the balance due is zero, even though the balance due is pulling the open amount. (SELECT OPEN_AMOUNT FROM LEDGER_ITEM_CU_DET_QRY WHERE LEDGER_ITEM_ID= :INVOICE_NO) When we reprint modified the collective invoice form, the PO gets changed to the old PO value and the balance due field becomes the correct, up to date, value. Has anyone encountered this before? Does anyone know what the correct approach is? This seems like some history tracking issue that collective invoices and customer statements of accounts encounter (same error on statements). I’ve checked the custom fie

How to send an email using a workflow

Hello,I currently am trying to send an email via a workflow, so whenever my custom event and custom event action get triggered, my workflow sends an email.How do I go about doing this? I’ve tried using a projection call “GetDefaultsForSendMail: SendMailDefaultsStruct” for BusinessOpportunityHandling as this is what is called when the email button for Business Opportunities is clicked. I noticed that in logs, this causes cmd prompts to get triggered when clicking the button, which opens up outlook to write a draft for an email, but I’d like to automatically generate and send an email without manual interaction. How to automatically create all pick lists in the 'Create Pick List for Customer Orders' page

Hello,I am trying to have every pick list that appears in the ‘Create Pick List for Customer Orders’ page get automatically created. We have the shipment types set up properly so whenever we create a pick list from that page, they come out properly. What i want to do, is to automatically print those. I have a schedule set up so that every 2 minutes, it runs the “Create Consolidated Pick List for Customer Orders” database task. This gets almost all of the Pick Lists for Customer Orders created, but the ones with the Supply code of “Purch Ord Trans” do not get printed. They appear on that page, but for some reason, the task does not create those. How do I fix this? We use Consolidated Pick Lists for Customer Orders, but we are requested to create pick lists for all items on that “Create Pick list for Customer Orders” PageHere is the database task I have set upAny advise or insight would be greatly appreciated.Thanks,Bryan

Question regarding automatic creation of pick lists for customer orders

Hello,I was wondering how one would trigger the creation of a pick list for customer order that appears on the "Create Pick List for Customer Order" screen, whenever the customer order's Earliest Planned Due Date is 3 days away?Right now I have a database task scheduled that runs every 2 minutes, checked for orders to automatically create into Pick Lists for Customer orders, but this does not work for Customer orders with Supply Code Purch Ord Trans, and I am not sure how to make sure it only triggers orders 3 days out. I also want to know how you would trigger the same database task but for the customer order lines of Supply code “Purch Ord Trans”. Currently, that supply code should indicate that we need to place a purchase order for those parts, but even when we get those items in stock, the scheduled database task does not create the pick list, it just sits in the “Create pick list for customer order” screen. Schedule/email Quick Report failure

Hello, We are currently on 22R2 for IFS Cloud and we have encountered an error. I created a quick report to pull some values via SQL and we want to schedule this report to attach an excel file of the output onto an email and send it to our users.We scheduled the report and have the emailing set up properly, but we never received any emails. BPA Workflow error?

Hello, We are facing a huge issue, in our test and config environments, we cannot inspect workflows anymore, even if they only have a simple projection call in it. When inspecting, we just get the “loading” popup that never goes away. This is on 23R1 and so far, it seems like no one else has been experiencing this other than us. What could be causing this? We’ve refreshed the caches in hopes of resolving this issue but so far nothing has been working. Any and all insight would be very much appreciated. Thanks,Bryan

How to handle/access attachments with a workflow or reporting rule

Hello,I am attempting to access attachments for shipments (I added the ability to store attachments on shipments, and for shipments to pull attachments from Customer Orders that have attachments as well). What would be the best process for accessing these attachments? An API call via a workflow, or a reporting rule?I have tried accessing them via a workflow that utilizes the api call “GetFileExtList(DocType):String” but handling the output is something I’m not familiar with as the documentation does not cover this scenario. I have looked into reporting rules but I am not sure if it’s possible to print attachments automatically when the report “shipment delivery note” is printed.Any insight would be greatly appreciated.Thanks,Bryan

IFS Cloud Custom Field configuration

Hello,On IFS Cloud, I am currently attempting to take a custom field I created on the CustomerInfo entity, and have that appear on the Lead - CRM page. I have attempted to create custom attributes for the BusinessLead entity that references the custom field I created for CustomerInfo, which, using page designer, appears on the page, but sadly it does not populate with any data. I have also created a projection that takes the CustomerInfo/BusinessLead entities and maps them together by the CustomerID, but doing so does not help as this new Projection is not tied into the BusinessLead page. In the Configure standard projection page, I cannot search for the CustomerInfo entity, to tie it to the BusinessLead entity, as it does not appear.How exactly can you pull a custom field into a page that has a different entity?

How to move files with a specific document class from Customer Order to Shipment?

Hello,I am not familiar with how IFS handles documents, but I am attempting to create a workflow and custom event/action to pull documents with the class code of 140/150 from a customer order to the shipment for that customer order.I also plan on creating another custom event/action to print that transferred document at the time when the delivery note is printed.I know how to create custom events/actions and workflows, but I’ve never interacted with documents before. Is there a way to check logs to see who turned on or off database tasks or schedules?

Hello, We’d like to monitor who is turning scheduled database tasks on or off, but I’m not aware of any place this can be see from. We see in the background jobs of these tasks that the database task schedules are being turned off, and we’d like to see which user is doing so. Thanks,Bryan

How to rename Operational Reports

Hello, I want to rename my operational reports when they print off. The file names are usually the Report Id with the result key. I’ve created a report rule to set property of the document file name but that didnt seem to work. Am I using this incorrectly? Everything seems fine based off of the technical documentation. Scheduled Database Task question

Hello,I am currently using IFS Cloud and I have created a scheduled database task to run every 2 minutes, and check if a Consolidated Pick List is ready for creation in the “Create consolidated Pick List for Customer Order” page. URGENT: Issue with page configurations and custom fields in 23R1

Hello, We are currently testing out 23R1 since we’ve had bad experiences with it and have received multiple reports from customers that the update has ruined their environments and taken them offline. One of these issues is page configurations and custom fields. In previous IFS Cloud versions, you could add custom fields to entities, then add those custom fields via page designer to pages. For some reason, our test 23R1 environment seems to have lost the ability to perform this action, however, existing custom fields added to page configurations have carried over and remain. How can we fix this? Why is IFS and their partners not letting customers know about this massive change???? We have requested documentation on these changes multiple times but received no responses from IFS contacts. Not a good look!

What IFS Cloud projection call handles emails?

Hello,I would like to send an email via a workflow, but there doesn’t seem to be clear documentation on what actions perform the emailing in IFS. Since Cloud has been supporting projection APIs, I’d assume that there would be a projection call to interact with the IFS Connect emailing system. Does anyone have any information regarding this? How to access and trigger Projection calls as API calls?

Hello, I’m wondering what the formatting might look like for when you try to call a projection function as an API call? I’d like to call the GetDefaultsForSendMail function from the BusinessOpportunityHandling Projection. I know the API is called Business_Opportunity_API but I have no way of seeing what the method looks like for the GetDefaultsForSendMail function. There is no real API documentation in the API explorer, only the projection (oData API) documentation. I’m trying to execute a PL/SQL server method to call that API function for an event action. IFS Cloud Lobbies not auto updating

Hello, We are currently facing an issue where lobbies are set to not auto update. When changing this field and setting lobbies to update based off an interval (300 seconds for example) when saving these changes, the lobby does not actually auto update, it reverts its settings back to auto update being turned off. What’s even more odd is that the interval value saves from the last change, so if it’s default value when turned on is 600 seconds, you turn the field on and change it to 300, then save. When reloading, the field is off but it still retains the 300 seconds when you turn it back on, so there is something being saved… just not the value for auto refresh... Has anyone else experienced this before? Any and all advise would be greatly appreciated. Thanks,Bryan

Customer Order CustomsValue not transferring to Shipment Lines CustomsValue

Hello,I noticed that my shipment pro forma invoice was not populating with price/value data, and I noticed that there was another IFS Community question that asked about CustomsValue. Someone mentioned that the CustomsValue will be inherited from the Customer Order page, and go to the Shipment page. Even when I populate the CustomsValue field for Customer Order, it never changes the Shipment CustomsValue field. How can I tweak the transfer of data so that what I want occurs?Thanks,Bryan

Reporting - Sales History

Hello,I am looking into reporting for IFS Cloud. I have been through both operational and quick reports, but I was wondering if there is any other reporting we could try. URGENT - PRINTING IS DOWN

Hello,Currently we are facing an issue where out printing is down in IFS Cloud. The strange thing is that this only happens for some printers, which we have verified they are mapped correctly and even remapped them to be sure. The error we are getting is “object reference not set to an instance of an object”. We’ve never encountered this error before in the 8 months that we’ve been using IFS cloud. This issue causes items in the print manager to fail, and when restarted, it seems there is a 50% chance this will complete the print manager job and actually print out.Any and all advise would be greatly appreciated.Thanks,Bryan

Event action not enabled due to user task issue

Hello,I have recently created a workflow that sends a text only user task to alert the user when a shipment has attachments that need to be printed off.The event and event action I have created for this sees when the shipment_tab’s del_note_printed field has been changed, and if it has, trigger the workflow. This event action was able to be turned on before I added the user task, but now I’m getting this error.What kind of error is this and how do I address it? Should I be using something else other than a user task to alert the user? They dont need to input anything, they only need to see the notification.Any and all advise would be greatly appreciated.Thanks,Bryan

Calling workflow asynchronously

Hello, I’ve been attempting to set up an asynchronous workflow to help with a mixed payment automation we are currently working on. The only issue is that IFS has minimal documentation regarding asynchronous workflows and how to properly set them up. When a workflow is scheduled as Asynchronous, and I check the currently running workflows, this workflow does not appear, but when running the same workflow scheduled as ‘after’ this runs just fine.Does anyone have any examples? Is there additional setup regarding the ‘Asynchronous before/after’ functionality that is native to Camunda? Any and all input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks,Bryan

User cannot click on multiline button

Hello, We are currently using IFS Cloud 22R2, one user cannot click on the note button when you enable a field to be “multiline” via page designer. We have tried different browsers, I doubt it would be a permission issue since they have 99% of the permissions, and no one else is encountering this issue in their same permission set. If anyone else has experienced this, please let me know. Any and all advise would be greatly appreciated. Thanks,Bryan
