I have been playing with v11.7 of assyst and uncovered a few minor issues during the DB upgrade in a DEV environment (from v11.3.8), so I am just posting those for your information:The DB upgrade script fails when trying to add the stored procedure RESET_EVENT_HKS, which already exists in our schema.Mitigation: delete the stored procedure before running the upgrade.Long term solution suggestion: Ideally have the upgrade script always drop the stored proc prior to creation.Migration of forms will fail if they have multiple Web Custom Groups with the same label (in design mode), DB upgrade SQL fails with a duplicate error.Mitigation: before the upgrade, change the labels in design mode to make them unique, and then add the proper display label as a customization at the Global-English level.Long term solution suggestion: allow renaming of the label during DB migration to add a suffix, for example: “…_1”, “…_2” etc.

Hi , from 23R1 ,IFS supports to call Workflow from a Custom Command. While, as I tested ,after the workflow executed (eg, changed some value of the Page)the web page doesn’t get refreshed.User have to manually click the “refresh” button to get new value shown. Is there any way to make web page auto freshed? ※I added a “Force Complete” Custom Command to a execute workflow after executed , data is changed , but page not refreshed.
We are utilizing IFS 10 and moving into Aurena. I am looking for the documentation about Maintenance Surveys to document how to set them up and their capabilities. I am also wondering if a survey can be attached to work task steps or task templates I did not see that as part of the workflow configuration yet. How do you allow a tech to save where they are if you are not utilizing MWO? Finally, can surveys be linked or utilize the measurements in IFS?

I have a new End User that as soon as she launches IFS they receive the following message. I have verified her User/Person account which is defaulted to English. Verified her Options setting under Tools are all setup correctly. Deactivated/Reactivated her account. Also, checked her PC and Google Chrome setting are set to the English Language as this always appears before the SSO message for her to connect to IFS. Any suggestions on how to correct this.
When creating a New Manual Supplier Invoice, the User Id attribute will auto-populate. Our users would like to see this User ID on the Manual Supplier Invoice page but it is not an available attribute in the Manual Supplier Invoice Group (or any other view that I can find). Does anyone happen to know where it can be found?Second question...If the User ID is not available for a Manual Supplier Invoice, can a custom field be added into the New Manual Supplier Invoice so that the creator of the Invoice (Application User) can be recorded? We would like to know who created a Manual Supplier Invoice.Thank you!

Hello!I found this check box on the shop order “Include as Supply” and based off the help screen, it sounds like if the box is deselected, the only thing that changes is that MRP doesn’t recognize it as supply for the demand. Is that it? Once the shop order is completed, closed, received into inventory, can we then use that part against demand? Wondering if this is a good option for PPAP parts that clutter my MRP action proposals (i.e. telling me I’m making it too early or to remove it).Thanks in advance!!

Hi,I would like to have more information for the DSE calculation with 2 adresses for Technicians. 1/ I assume that if we set 2 adresses for an Technician : StartShift and Endshift, the DSE will use these inputs in the calculation. Right ?Use case : Startshift adress : Office Endshift Address : Home 2/ If we set 2 different adresses : Could we have the data of the last travel in the DSE tables (Service Order > Endshift Adress) ?NB : If the Endshift Adress is far from the Startshift, the total travel can be very different and the selection of the technician also for the last service order of the day. Hi,We are in middle of upgrading from Apps 9 (IFS Hosted) to Cloud 23R1 (IFS Hosted) and exploring migrating documents from database to FSS repository in IFS Cloud.While the transfer documents process is working as expected, we have few questions on how this will impact the next Upgrade iterations.Let’s assume, we create a FSS repository IFS_FSS_IT1 for Iteration 1 and migrate all documents from Database → IFS_FSS_IT1.For the next upgrade iteration can we create another FSS repository IFS_FSS_IT2 and migrate documents again and will this overwrite/affect files in IFS_FSS_IT1?The same question can be raised for creating separate storage repositories for each of the three Use Place instances - CFG, UAT & PRD, so they have separate FSS repositories?

Hi,After upgrading from 22r2 to 23r2.3 we got an issue with outbound customer invoicesApplication service update: 23.2.3Framework service update: 23.2.3IFS Cloud Web version: 23.2.3.20240131160230.0IFS OData provider version: 23.2.3.20240130110039.0In the menu “Customer Invoices with Errors” the “Send Error Messages” says:ORA-20105: Archive.KEYERR: Report with key does not exist.We tried to follow the instructions from this 3 year old topic and set the default Life time for report CUSTOMER_ORDER_IVC_REP to 1826 days, but it did not work. And if i try to “Process Invoice” manually it works.Has anybody had this problem before?
