In standard IFS solution, you can see following field types. You can use Right Mouse Button option to view the details of the field.Automatic - Only Automatic tax template fields are visible in Tax Template Field Control window to map with tax codes. Calculated - You can connect other fields to a calculated field and do the action like add/summation, subtract, multiply or divide options. E.g. 1. You map a tax code to OUTPUTVATGOODS and when you want to assign this value for the field OUTPUTVATEU, you can use the option Add and set the connection. E.g. 2. You can get Total VAT Due (OUTPUTVATTOT) by adding two fields OUTPUTVATSTD + OUTPUTVATEU Conditional - You can set IF/ELSE conditions for the fields. Hi Cersanit,IFS is following the European Payment Council (EPC) guidelines for SEPA payments. According to EPC rules, some special characters like "&" (ampersand) may only be used with escape characters. IFS has already handle it the XML creation logic. For an example if your payee name contains a special character like "&", it will be replaced as "&". If I remember correctly, the special character conversion logic has been established after APP8 SP2 version.It seems that you are using APP7.5 version. Hi Christy,If Tax Structure tab is not enabled for the tax template, you cannot use it in tax report level. When you go to Tax Templates window, you can see a column call "Tax Structure", if this not selected, tax structure tab is not visible in Tax Report. It seems that you are using template S017 and tax structure tab is not enabled for this template. But, if you use Tax template S005, you can use Tax Structure tab. Please note that you cannot amend the tax structure check box, if the tax template is a system defined template. So, if you want to use tax structure for tax sales report, you have to copy and create a new template. then, you can select the Tax structure check box.Best RegardsEranda

Hi Christy,It is hard to give an exact reason for the error without performing a technical investigation. But, with the experience I know, the similar error is occurred for WHT transactions in some of the payment windows. When I was at IFS R&D, we delivered several patches to fix this problem. Hi Jennett,There are few basic data setup.Supplier levelWhen you go to supplier/Payment tab, you can see a drop down field, Payment Advice (This is the remittance advice creation method). Make sure that you have selected the value “At Create Order”. That means there will be a remittance advice created when you create the payment order. i.e. when you create ACH file. Go to AP Supplier Contact and select your supplier’s contact person via List of Value. If you have not defined the contact person details, you have to define the details in Communication Tab of the supplier. Make sure to select Output media as E-mail.Setting up standard Event for email generationIf you have access to Solution Manager folder of the application navigator you can find a window call “E-mailing Events using Event Actions”. @hjohnson If I remember correctly, in Financials, sever output path/Oracle directory (former utl_file_dir before Oracle 18C) is used only for the background execution of the payment order. When you manually create the order, the system always fetch the local folder in IEE and download to browser in Aurena. Hi Andreas,Separation of Scheme code logic is only available in ISO20022 format. It will not work for SEPA (SEPA CT) format. But, for SEPA credit transfer, the Signer ID can be used as an identification for both Initiating Party and Debtor level. But, if I remember correctly Scheme Code is not supported in SEPA format because it is not a mandatory element in SEPA EPC (European Payment Council) rule book. Could you please ask from Nordea whether they allow to process the SEPA CT only with Identification?If the bank doesn’t allow to process the SEPA CT file without Scheme Code, you have to do a slight customization in the code. But, I would like to suggest a better option below.I don’t recommend to use SEPA format in latest IFS versions, because ISO20022 format has been designed to handle both SEPA and Non-SEPA payment. After App9 Update 6, you can use ISO20022 format to handle both SEPA CT and Non SEPA-CT payments. You have to make sure to define the electronic address of the supplier
Hi Krister,The payment order acknowledgement logic has been handled in CAMT.053 and CAMT.054 files. But, if you are going to use MT940 file, you have to make some changes to file template (MT940DE). The best solution is to inform customer to check the possibility of using CAMT.053 file. Most of the German banks are supporting for the CAMT.053 version, so it is better for them to move to the newest version of the electronic bank statement. Anyway, I will try to explain the logic bit in detail, when you create the payment order, the system store the EndToEndId value in separate column in payment_order_tab (Order ID/PaymentDate/OrderItemID). This value is used as a matching attribute when loading the return bank statement file. For an example, if we take camt.053 file, if transaction type of the respective message code has been set as Payment order (note that payment format message function is not applicable for MT940 or camt.05X payments), the system directly match the EndToEndId mention
Hi Stephen,What do you mean by Direct Debit run? Are you executing the payment for the Direct Debit order you made? So, you expect to receive cash inflow and settle your customer invoices. From IFS perspective, the PP1 posting will be debited and IP2 posting will be credited in order to settle the AR item. Are you referring to the wrong GL accounts?Best RegardsEranda

Hi Stephan,Go to posting control details window and search for the PP1 posting code which represents the cash posting. Use Right mouse button and see whether you have setup the accounts based on your bank accounts. Once you execute the payment for the direct debit order the cash account is set based on the selection you made during the order creation. But, I am not sure whether your third party can read the IFS output as it is (XML tags). But, I believe your third party vendor will establish a mapping first.In IFS Report Rules, there is an Action Type call “Route to Connect”. You can set the connector as a file or a mail. Then, you have to set the output type based on your requirement. Xml (Only the data xml) or FullXml (Full data xml with header and footer).There is a pre-defined Connector to send customer invoices under IFS Financial Connector. Hi Shelley,Have you tried to use a report rules?In IFS Report Rules, there is an Action Type call “Route to Connect”. You can set the value File for the connector field. Then, you have to set the output type based on your requirement. There is an option to define the Output file name and you can fetch the required attributes to the field from list of values. If you are going to set the file name in routing address, the values for the naming attribute should be available in Application message. Then you can use the keyword TAG to set the name. I haven’t tried this. But, I guess the file name set in the report rule also set in the same way..Best RegardsEranda

Hi Arend,You can settle the invoice using a forign currency cash account. Is it a manual payment or a bank transfer? If you just want to record the payment, go to mixed payment window and select a USD cash account.Now, you can settle the invoice invoice.If you are using automatic payment proposal, make sure to select “Cash Account In any Currency” option in Payment Method level (Payment Methods window). Hi Debbie,It seems that check number is missing. Please go to Payment Documents basic data window and select supplier check payment. Make sure you have correctly connected your cash account to your check series. I assume you are using automatic check number series.You might already know that you cannot issue a supplier check via a mixed payment.(only customer check payment can be recorded). You were referring to an error in mixed payment. This is a sub ledger clearing and there can't be any involvement of manual posting.
