HiI can confirm that Touch Apps server has been sunset in IFS Cloud and that there is a complete other way to deal with the communication between the device and the backend system, which is more inline with how the rest of IFS Cloud works. RegardsJohan
HiI have discussed this issue with our experts in Financials and according to them it is a defect.The answer I got from them was the following: “It works when both are Authorizers but not if the first one is Acknowledge and the second one is Authorizer.”If you have alreddy raised a defect towards IFS, then we will hopfelly get it soon and can start work on the issue. Hi I think you need to report this to IFS. I have never seen this error when I have been tesintg and I am wondering if this is something data related and therefore I have not come across this error before.What yuo show on TAS is the old legacy Notify Me and not Aurena Notify Me. We are though using TAS for the commuication of to the backend for Aurena Notify Me as well in Apps10. I must say this is one of the better investigations I have seen, clearly stating the problem and showing the error as well. RegardsJohan

HiIn the current version of PO Notifications we are only taking the attachment from the PO Header. The main reason for that is that you do the aurhotization on the PO header and not on individual lines. To also be able to synchronize attachment from the lines is a feature enhancement that you can raise towards IFS, to be processed for a future release. RegardsJohan
@Dario Zani yes it is most likely garbage collecor in Android and that is what we have been looking into and done changes to. We need to look at this yet again. And it is the Aurena Native version of Scan It that does have this problem, not the legacy version of Scan It.
HiDo you get this problem a lot?We have seen this error before and also tried to correct it in just the version of Scan It that you are using. We have tried to replicate this issue in our own environments and have not been able to recreate it ourselves. We have also been in contact with customers who have had the same problem in an earlier version of Scan IT app and also tried together with those customers to recreate it. It is an issue that has been very difficult to recreate and even the customer’s we have been in contact with have not been able to recreate it on the calls we have had with them together. Please report this to IFS with as much information about how to recreate it and if you can see any pattern when this happen. RegardsJohan

Hi,For IFS Cloud you should not install IFS Touch Apps Server at all. It is not used and has been deprecated in IFS Cloud. What you need to be turned on is the Aurena Native oData Provider and the Aurena Native Synchronization “containers” to be running in the installation you have. Also you need to setup IAM for the apps you are using. The only availaible apps for IFS Cloud are the apps that are built on Aurena Native Technology. All legacy apps from apps 10 will not work anymore.You can read more about this in the technical documentation. RegardsJohan
HiWe had a similar issues some time back and we were in contact with Microsoft to be able to understand how the different tokens are working and this is the respoonse we got back If the customer increases the lifetime of the refresh token to more than 8 hours (ex – 24h). Will ADFS send a new refresh token?A. Regarding increasing the refresh token to more than 8 hours, I have tested in my ADFS lab:Set SSO to 24 hours. Get refresh token valid for 24 hours.Try to renew the access token -> Get new access token BUT not new refresh token.So what you need to do is to check is the SSO lifetime set in the ADFS sever. Refresh calls will only return access tokens, If you have a low value on the SSO lifetime, this could be the reason. It is a bit hard without knowing more details around it.RegardsJohan
HiWe do not log how many times Scan IT devices are timing out rather than being logged out by the operator. There is a possibility to get the device log out for an device and there we can see how many times the device has looged out, but we do not have a counter on it. If it is a hughe problem for you, I suggest that you raise a case towards IFS, so IFS can loook into it deeper. There are several reasobs why you get frequent log out. Example bad network, how the configuration has been set up for the authenication methods in use, etc. RegardsJohan
HiThere is a distinction between the Notify Me and Aurena Native Notify Me. Notify Me uses the dll you have shown in the pictures, where Aurena Native Notify Me doesn’t use those dll’s at all. Aurena Native Notify Me uses projections that are installed in the database, In your case the Aurena Native Notify Me is not enabled in the system. If you go to installed apps, you will see that it is not enabled. What you need to do is to deploy the Aurena Native Notify Me “ins” file again. RegardsJohan
HiGenerally you should not need to do Force Initialize, The only time you might need to use it is when it doesn’t work with Initialize. RegardsJohan
When you have installed the Touch Apps Server, you login to that and decide what apps should be used for this specific instance. You do not need any settings on individual devices, mor then of course download the app you are going to use. We do not have document approval in any app att all, so that functionality doesn’t exist in any of the apps. I know that it has come up as a request for Notify Me app though. RegardsJohan

Just a question, maybe a very stupid question, have you added the rejection reason in the Request Rejection Reason in Absence Administration Basic Data? It need to be available there in order to be synchronized to the device. What you should get is a set of different reject reasons so you can choose which one to use. RegardsJohan
Hi I think you need to consult the manufacurer of the barcode scanner you are using. It might be possible to do in settings for the barcode scanner. I guess the barcode scanners you are running is using Android. I know that these type of settings can be done on Android phones, but from which Android version it wsa introduced I do not know. I googled around a bit, but could not find anything on just specific to scanners. RegardsJohan

I am not an expert in Pucthasing, but you need to set up the basic data for authroization in Purchasing, you need to create a PO that has the notify me user you are using as the authorizer and then you should get the notification into your app as that user. Sorry I can’t give you a step by step instruction here. RegardsJohan
The picture show a stream notifiction and those doesn’t have approve or reject.It is the notification coming from Purchase Order, Purchase Requisition, Supplier invoice, travel expense and Absence request that have approve or reject. RegardsJohan
HiDo you have the permission for your user? e.g. the functional role permission set TOUCHAPPS_RUNTIME. Also, I can see that you are running PO. The events looks ok on that part. Just to make sure, as the user you are logging in as, do you have PO to be authorized as that user. I guess you have, but just to make sure. RegardsJohan
