Minimum Customer Order Quantity

Is there a way to setup a minimum customer order quantity before shipping product. Say XYZ customer doesn’t like to receive multiple shipment charges but they place orders frequently. Can you setup a way in IFS to say if Customer XYZ’s quantity is over 100USD ship it, if not do not ship it?

Custom events on save of new supplier record

Hello - I am new to IFS and am after some help with the following. I would like to create an event that when a user creates a new supplier or customer record that IFS should alert the User to input the customer ID/Supplier ID if they have not already done so instead of allocating the customer/supplier a system generated number

Complementary Part Functionality

One of the requirements from our offices is that they are able to add a “complementary” part to a sales quotation, it will show the price but not add the price of that part into the total. So in a case where the customer contacts us for a Sales Quotation. Our team would like to add complementary parts (or what they call alternative parts) on the Sales Quotation. They want to show the price to the customer and potential discount, however, they don’t want to show it in the total. Is this an option within IFS? I know complementary parts exist but it seems to always add them into the total of the Sales Quotation. It seems more of an opportunity functionality rather than Sales Quotation.

History Log - Address Delete

We have History Log turned on within History Log Configuration. for Enterprise > CustomerInfoAddressType for Insert, Update and Delete. Recently, we talked to a user who had deleted an address. Where do we locate the deleted records if we are keeping the details for 270 days?Thanks

New business opportunity can't be created in Outlook panel

Hello. On Outlook panel in IFS Cloud 21R1, I can not add new business opportunity for my contact - no add icon is visible.New activity can be created for the same contact. How can I configure to enable to add new business opportunity?

Mass Unreserve Customer Order

Hi Community, we have instances in Apps 9 where we need to re-schedule customer orders and unreserve the stock to be used elsewhere. So far I can only see that customer order lines can be unreserved 1 line at a time. Orders with hundreds of lines are therefore time consuming to un-reserve and I’m hoping there is a way to unreserve a whole order or selection of lines.

Close Previous Line - Migration Job

Hi all, I have an excel migration for Supplier for Purchase Part. This allows price lists to be created by users and inserted to the price list tab. However, if a price list is active - this prevents the tool from working. Is there a way to close an active price list automatically before the new price list is inserted?

I hope to maintain all related set-ups for discounts in the rebate window, transactions occur. But I can't create customer rebate credit invoice. how can set-up rebate settlement (periodic & Final)?

In the rebate issue, the rebate transaction is complete, but I can't set the settlement (periodic and final). I have attached the total process that I have maintained. I try a few times using the manual. If someone gives me a demo setup for settling a settlement that helps me a lot.

How are the Sales Quotation / Customer Orders linked?

When a Customer Order is created from a Sales Quotation is there a link between the two?In the Sales Quotation itself I can right-click on a Quotation line in it and select “Customer Order” and that takes me to one of the customer orders that was created from the Quotation but when I put a debug trace on it in IFS it doesn’t tell me how it linked it (i.e. what field).Thank you for any replies.

Customer Consignment stock value

Hi, I have a question regarding Customer Consignment Stock. How can we see the cost ( not the sales price on order) for the material we have sent out on a consignment order. If we have for example consumed/invoiced 5 pcs of total 10 pcs, how can I see the cost of the material that is not yet consumed? We are using version IFS10 Thanks in advance/Caroline

Customer Order - Manual Blocking functionality -Per IFS Help - Block Customer OrderExplanationYou can block an entire customer order by using Manually Block Order in the Operations menu. A requirement for this operation is that the customer order is not in the Invoiced/Closed state.When an order has been blocked, it receives the status Blocked, and limited transactions can be performed.The question is --- what are the “limited transactions”. In other words if we use the manual block function - what transactions are blocked and what are allowed? We could test, but looking for a definitive list - what transactions are blocked and what’s allowed. Many thanks.

Adjusting Customer Schedule line Firm Window

On a customer schedule, the tolerance for schedule line changes on firm status lines currently is set for 2 week where changes by customer cannot occur on those lines. This firm window is set at 2 weeks for schedule lines. How do we change that time frame to 3 weeks in IFS? On the Agreement? On the customer schedule? Somewhere else?

Customer Address Access

Customer records are global in the application with various tabs being controlled via company access. Address is not one of these tabs and i need to restrict users viewing customer addresses outside of there assigned country. eg staff in the US can see the customer records of the UK, but the address tab needs to be not visible/hidden. Is this possible?

Customer Agreement

Hi IFS Folks, Good day. I am wondering what is the difference between manual pricing and costing pricing in ‘Update Customer Agreements from Base Prices screen’. When I am using costing pricing it runs background job to update prices but there are no updated done but when I use Manual Pricing it works as intended. Please can anyone explain me the difference. Return parts from internal order transit issue

Hello,I want to reverse a distribution order from demand site back to supply site. I have cancelled the purchase order receipt in demand site so the distribution order has been changed to ‘In Transit’; and I also created a RMA for the customer order in supply site, but when I receive parts from the RMA with the function ‘Return Parts from Internal Order Transit’, I can’t click OK to complete it. Is there anything missed during my operation? Could you please give me a clue?Many thanks.

Basic data translation does not reflect changes in the French language

Hello Community, After I updated the “Delivery Terms” basic data description value in English. The new description does not update in the French side of IFS. (When I log-in using French as a language).What am I missing? See screenshots for more details. We are currently using IFS9.fig1- Shows the new description value updated in the English side.fig2- Shows the French side is keeping the old description value. it did not update to the new description value.Thanks,JL
