I was looking into the survey functionality. It does seem like it requires the user setup to be able to take a survey. For employees that might not have the access to the system, are there other means of entering the survey on someone’s behalf?

Vertex in the Cloud

We are setting up an integration with Vertex O Cloud and they are using Company Code as they key to determine what environment it is coming from (TEST, PROD). Since we copy our Prod Database to our Test environment we have the same company codes on our orders. How are other people setting up their test environments to work with vertex?

Different Part Nos on Inc Customer Schedule (DELSCH)

I want to know if it is possible to have one incoming customer schedule (DELSCH) through EDI that has multiple part numbers that get parsed out into their own incoming customer schedules. I see the XML Schema allows for multiple Article Lines with a Part No field and the Demand Lines also have a Part No field. When I tried to do this however, I get multiple customer schedules for each article line with the demand lines duplicated across all of the schedules.

SALES contract -> Application for payment

Dear All, Does anyone kow if it possible to make the fields in Miscellaneous ready only when you create a new Application for payment fot out a sales contract? Can this be done in the persmission sets? My idea was disable some with APi.new but then i'm unable to create them or it has no effect. Anyone an idea?

MRP Error Help

Hi All, Running Apps 10 Our Site MRP has been running successfully since September 19 with no issues, but starting Monday 15th May 2020 a warning message has started to occur: Error ORA-06502: PL/SQL: numeric or value error: character string buffer too small occurred while running Snapshot_Part for Site/Part AXIS1/, ABC Class . Looking at the error, I thought it was an ABC Class issue, but checking all the ABC classes they are all set to C and always have been. Not sure what to focus on next, any ideas? Thanks Steve

Custom menu one action (PL/SQL) for multiple rows

Hey,Is there a way to create custom menu PL/SQL block that will run only once on multiple rows selected?For instace im selecting 3 lines all for same supplier but with different qty then code is storing qty’s from all those lines and doing one action. By default it will do the action dependant of rows selected.

Approvals within Sub-Contract

We are on Apps 8 and use the Sub-Contract function. However, having created a revised template containing approvals, we cannot understand how the sub-contract can be activated when it has not previously been ‘Reviewed’ which is the step that precedes Activate. It’s as if the approvals have no impact on the activation of the sub-contract.Has anyone else come across this and if so, is this a bug or standard functionality?Thanks in advance for any assistance.

Route to Connect Report Rule - PrinterID Default

Trying to ‘automatically’ print PDFs to Send PDF to Connect printer for the Route to Connect action. I already have several rules set up for either email, printing to printers based on Printer Definition etc and want to have a Route to Connect rule that will automatically select the Send PDF to Connect printer without the user having to do it and without messing with any other printer options required for other printing options.

HR Manager Rights - No access to the employees in Preliminary Status

Hello, Does anyone know why IFS has removed the ability to view the employees in Preliminary Status from HR Manager Rights? That becomes too complicated in setting up the New Employee Group for all HR personnel.

Hi,after one year of IFS EAM usage we realized that initially created hierarchy and equipment codes are not complying with our needs and we need to change whole hierarchy and equipment codes but retaining all PMs, WOs, Routes, Documents, Measurements, etc populated during one year.What could be the possible options of performing this operation?Or the only possible way is to perform mch_code and belongs_to values replacement all across the database ?

Calling a Lobby about generated eMail-Link

Hallo community,ACTUAL scenario: The user is informed about changes by e-mail. The mail contains a generated link to the relevant IFS mask, which calls up this IFS mask when pressed. This works because it is the standard behaviour for IFS masks (ifsapf:frm ...).TARGET scenario: Now this should also be implemented for the jump from the mail to a lobby. I.e. the user receives a generated link in mail to the lobby, which calls up the respective lobby when pressed. Only in the case of Lobby (ifswin:Ifs.Fnd.CompositePageRenderer.Page...) does it NOT seem to be the default behaviour.How can i do this? Any ideas?Thx for support

Revenue Rec with WO using Project Inventory

I have a scenario where I've issued Project Inventory to a Work Order and have run Revenue Recognition. The revenue I expected to see was not what I expected to see. It looks like the system is not taking note of the fact that the project inventory was issued to the work order and, therefore, it was not consumed.I retested by issue the material to a Demand and Revenue Recognition DID calculate properly.Maybe it's a bug but perhaps someone can help me with understanding why Revenue Recognition "sees" the issue when I issue to the demand, but not when I issue to the demand of the WO.I"m all ears!Patrick

Not found on my details of New projection configuraiton. Custom Field format string

We need to create a Custom Field for the EORI number and would like to know how to handle the fact that we require the following format: First 2 characters (Alpha)Next 12 characters (numeric) Would I have to create the field as a text field and then run a custom event to check that the contents meet the format?Can anyone please advise a better way?Thank you.
