Apps9: Anyone know of an order report that shows last traded with a customer/supplier?

Have been asked for a report which shows the last time we have done business with our customer/supplier listing.Was looking for an order report to suit, but couldnt really see anything to fit. Any suggestions?If not, i guess best way to tackle is a ledger looking for the MAX invoice date per identity?

History Log - Address Delete

We have History Log turned on within History Log Configuration. for Enterprise > CustomerInfoAddressType for Insert, Update and Delete. Recently, we talked to a user who had deleted an address. Where do we locate the deleted records if we are keeping the details for 270 days?Thanks

Document management doesn’t seem to be activated

Hi All,Document management doesn’t seem to be activated even after setting the object connections and permissions. All the users are facing this issue. The issue persists even with IFSAPP login. Charge line on RMA not on original Order lacks prepostings

We want to add a charge line on an RMA that is not on the original order. It is erroring out as the pre postings are not carrying over from the customer order. We are returning an item from the customer order but want to charge the customer a restock fee. We are able to add the charge line but when it is posting to g/l the pre postings are left blank. Any suggestions?

New Schedule Report dont work in App8

We have App8 instance that have plenty of Schedule Reports that runs dialy. When a new Schedule report is seleced (for same layout and paramters that works for other users) new user the new schedule report dont run. Any reason for it? Cheers

Merge Business Plans

Hi IFS Finance folk,Does anyone know if it’s possible to ‘Merge’ several Business Plans into one? I can see that we can aggregate Planning Units within the same Plan, or copy an entire Plan to create a new one. However I cannot see an option to merge several Business Plans into one.I have a situation where a Company operates 3 very different businesses within the same legal entity. They do not want multiple companies because it is one company, however they want to create different business plans for each business area and be able to report them either seperately or aggregated.Any ideas?

Email Notification PO Forward Authorization

Hi, When a PO authorizer is Forwarding Authorization on a PO to another Authorizer - is it possible to set up Email notification to the “Forwarded To” authorizer? If there is no defined email notification to the “Forwarded To” authorizer - how will he/she know this has been forwarded to them for authorization? Appreciate any help on this issue. /Trine

Work Task Template External planning

We are currently working on upgrading from IFS 9 to IFS 10 EE (update 11 currently). I want to make sure that we always have a resource group connected to the work tasks that are generated so I am trying to figure out the best way to use work task templates (service work with most of the time one task per WO). Many of our work orders/work tasks are generated to have an outside contractor actually get a PO from us to do the work on site. We would use the internal resource groups for who needs to handle the call internally until completion. I found another thread that allowed me to understand that I can use a Non-inventory Purchase part to be able to automatically start a requisition, but I am trying to understand what the planning of External would be otherwise. We normally have been using a non-inventory part for our labor to contractors because the price is always changing due to scopes.I originally set this template up as line two was simply set up under planning and external manuall

Scheduled tasks for time reporting

Currently we don’t use IFS for time reporting but will do so when we implement time report on work tasks and on project activities. However, we have found there are three scheduled tasks regarding time reporting running daily and once an hour respectively. We have not found any documentation about what these tasks do. Can someone help out and give us an explanation of the respective task? Clean Up Temporary Timrep Week Table - scheduled daily at 2:30Generate Timrep Intervals and Hours - scheduled daily at 00:10Calculate Unprocessed Timrep Intervals - scheduled every 1 hour. PURCHASE ORDER QUESTION

I AM TRYING TO CLOSE A LINE ON A PURCHASE ORDER. I RIGHT MOUSE BUTTON IN THE HEADER OF THE PURCHASE ORDER AND CHOOSE REGISTER PURCHASE ORDER ARRIVALS. I THEN RMB ON THE LINE AND CHOOSE RECEIVE ORDER. THEN CLICK OK. I RECEIVE AN ERROR MESSAGE: THERE ARE NOT ENOUGH COMPONENT PARTS SHIPPED TO THE SUPPLIER TO RECEIVE THIS QUANTITY. ANYONE HAVE THIS ERROR AND IF SO, HOW DO I CLOSE MY PO?

Mass Unreserve Customer Order

Hi Community, we have instances in Apps 9 where we need to re-schedule customer orders and unreserve the stock to be used elsewhere. So far I can only see that customer order lines can be unreserved 1 line at a time. Orders with hundreds of lines are therefore time consuming to un-reserve and I’m hoping there is a way to unreserve a whole order or selection of lines.

One Time Supplier for Credit Card Purchases

Our Procurement team has a direction to limit supplier records in IFS, hence they keep expiring the ones we do small purchases through. But we need to make purchases through those small suppliers. We discussed a possible solution i.e. record those suppliers as one time suppliers in IFS (then the need to expire them goes away) make the purchase through credit card, raise a PO in IFS since the goods receipt is needed, close the PO and match with a zero valued invoice. Finance assured that they can take care of this if we come up with some sort of modification, maybe in the PO line to distinguish it’s a credit card purchase at the year end. I read the below useful thread where there are good inputs from Finance experts @Shehan Almeida @Eranda, still wanted to create a new thread with some questions. So the questions I have are these. External payment interface CAMT053 Segmentation Criteria

We have a large number of payment transactions in our CAMT053 loads that need manipulation before we can continue the process to finally enter a payment voucher.The Segmentation Criteria found in the window External Payment Parameters looks promising - if we can push all payment order transactions through automatically we will be more comfortable when handling the more time consuming issues.Now the questions:Is there a way we can make the application create a Mixed Payment for only the payment order rows of a CAMT053 load? If not, is there a way that we can create only two Mixed Payments of one CAMT053 load? One for the payment order rows and the other for all other transaction types?

SII Report for Spain - ImporteTotal Field/Tag not appearing

Hi Team,Within Standard IFS Transformer, ImporteTotal Field/Tag does not exist in xml output file.(Transformer: SII Invoice Received)But, as per the tax authority requirement, this field should be available mandatory as a part of both xml “SII Invoice Received” and “SII Invoice Issued" but in IFS against “SII Invoice Issued" transformer this field does not exist.Can anyone let us know, why IFS has not included this field within Standard IFS Transformer (Transformer: SII Invoice Received).

SII Report for Spain - FechaOperacion Field/Tag not appearing

Hi Team,Within Standard IFS Transformer, FechaOperacion Field/tag does not exist in xml output file. But, as per the tax authority requirement, FechaOperacion field should have a value when the correction invoice or partial credit note invoice has an operation date (Original Invoice Date) different from correction invoice/credit note invoice date. Expectation to have the Original invoice date in this field for correction invoice line.Can anyone let us know, why IFS has not included this field within Standard IFS Transformer (Transformer: SII Invoice Issued).
