Project forecast snapshot matching ETC/EAC

What is the use of this setting when creating a new project forecast I understand the EAC- ETC Calculation , but whether I change Snapshot matching setting to EAC or ETC recalculated does not make any difference, what seems to be driving the calculation is the set ETC option setting. I have same result if the snapshot matching setting is changed to ETC or EAC. Please see example below SIM 1 forecast was created with the following settings The result is SIM 4 forecast was created with the following settings the result is the same therefore I am not sure of the use of this setting. Multiple request IDs on a single PO

Hi there. The company I contract to recently switched to using IFS field service. With the old system, a single purchase order was raised for me to invoice my jobs for the week.With IFS, apparently it's not possible to have multiple jobs on a single purchase order, a new one has to be created for each job, which is very inconvenient, since I now have to create a separate invoice for each job, which might be 15 or more for a weeks work. Is there any way to get around this? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

In Cloud 22R1/ MWO/Work Details, when we select Object then Object ID is not visible, in other Instance its showing all the Object ID’s, same configurations did in other Instance but not showing the Object ID, any configuration i missed ?

Error making certificate request

I’m trying to create CSR by following the instructions at this link.OpenSSL: Create a private key and a Certificate Signing Request (CSR) (simplified) (ifs.com)I downloaded openSSL and created create_clickonce_csr.cmd. After running cmd command I get this error:Error making certificate request5C580000:error:06800098:asn1 encoding routines:ASN1_mbstring_ncopy:string too short:crypto\asn1\a_mbstr.c:100:minsize=1Afte this error it says:Certificate Signing Request (CSR) created successfully. Automatic delivery note storage

Hello all,The issue of transferring delivery notes (i.e. in paper form) to IFS using recognition software has arisen in our company, so that they can always be found digitally (in IFS) and no time-consuming searching is necessary. Accordingly, we want to get away from the paper form. In the end, there should be a link between the delivery note and the purchase order placed, and this link should be retrievable in the attachments in the IFS on the corresponding screen.Have any of you already gone through such an implementation? If so, what recognition software was used and how was it implemented?We have roughly thought of the following:1. the received delivery note is recognized by the recognition software by means of the delivery notes number.2. this received delivery note is first processed there.3. after that the XML and the PDF file of the delivery note is sent to IFS.4. the PDF file and the XML file of the delivery note are to be stored in the attachments in the "Dispatch Advice" sc

Cloud Services - Azure File Storage (IFS Cloud 22R2)

Hi,Customers in Cloud Services can store documents in an Azure File Storage area instead of checking them into the database. I believe the Repository needs to be configured to use ‘File Storage’ (https://docs.ifs.com/techdocs/23r1/020_lifecycle/100_file_storage_service/#setup_file_storage). The Repository Address and Path fields are not required for File Storage type (https://docs.ifs.com/ifsclouddocs/21r2/default.htm?openpage=https://docs.ifs.com/ifsclouddocs/21r2/CreateAndMaintainDocument/AboutDocumentFileRepositories.htm). Are there any other configurations required? If the customer has documents stored in the database, this will require a Data migration to place the documents in the Azure Storage area (https://docs.ifs.com/techdocs/23r1/020_lifecycle/100_file_storage_service/fsmigtool/). Does anyone know if Cloud Service provide access to the customer to Azure File storage area to verify documents have been checked in?Scott

Automatic receipt for recurring expenses ?

Hello,I was wondering what was the best practice to approve supplier invoices linked to an annual or pluriannual contract.For example, we have a 3 years maintenance contract with a monthly fix rate. Currently, we are issuing a PO with a quantity of 36 and the monthly rate as unit price. Then, we are asking the requisitioner to register a receipt every month. This is a painful process and most of the time we need (at accounting) to remind the requisitioner to do the receipt which leads in late receipt, wrong accrual, delay on invoice processing. is there any possibility to automatize the receipt or any other solution to improve our process. Thank you

Combo box not populating in Supplier screen

I am trying to add a new Supplier in IFS Apps10 EE but it will not allow me to save the record without entering a value to the combo box in the screen capture attached (Party Type). That is because it is not populating with the list of values in the Enumeration. I can’t see why this is happening, can anyone help. it is not a custom field.

AssystREST authorisation

I’m a bit of a newbie to AssystREST and so maybe missing something glaringly obvious so please forgive me. I am trying to test AssystREST API with very little success.https://Server:port/assystREST/v2/ramlI can run the above and bring back all the resourceTypes from the api server, however trying to bring back an event based on the ID gives me a permission issue. When using postman to test I just get a 401 unauthorised code.
