"IFS_MOBILE" user password expired in FSM.

Hi All,“IFS_MOBILE” user password has been expired on month of September(05-09-23) but we did not receive any complaints from users about mobile issues. We are wondering how mobile working with out any issues after password expired. Actually we would like to change the password of the mobile user in FSM, If we change the password of “IFS_MOBILE ” user what will be the impact.should we do password change in fsm for “IFS_MOBILE” user? if possible kindly provide steps to do password change.Thanks,Durga

Part Characterist IFS Cloud

We are in the process of upgrading to IFS Cloud from Apps 9. I have a custom lu tied to the Part Characteristic in Apps 9 and see that these are individual pages now. Is there a way to add a new page for the “P-Type Basic Data” tab under the Discrete Characteristic in the attached screen shot (cloud_part_characteristic.png). There isn’t really an available page that this would belong to.

Undo Delivery error

Hi, was wondering if anybody else had come across this issue… We were testing some scenarios regarding undoing deliveries. Going from Customer Order Reserved/Released - Create Pick List - Report Picking - Attach handling unit and then complete and deliver. We were seeing if we could undo a delivery at the last moment. We found we could successfully do this as long as the order consisted of only one part number. If the order contained different parts, the below error appears…. Has anybody else experienced this issue??

Purchase control plan analysis

Hello community,Is there any possible way to enter parameters for multiple data points in a purchase control plan analysis? For example, I have two data points: length and height. When I receive 200 pieces of a part from a purchase order, I need to enter controlled parameters for these data points in the control plan analysis one after another for the 1st data point and then for the 2nd data point. Do you have any ideas on how to be able to enter both parameters for one part and then move on to enter parameters for the 2nd part, and so on?Many thanks for your ideas and time.

Cloud 23R1 Editing Partially Delivered Customer Order Header

IFS Cloud 23R1Does anyone else need to edit customer order header information after some order lines have been invoiced? These are custom fields we created in the header for industry specific data (well name, producer, etc). Our business model requires customer orders with over 1,000 lines. Sometime the header information changes after the early lines are invoiced. It does not affect the invoiced lines. Just the future lines. We cannot edit the data in the customer order header. It is an arduous task to cancel and re-enter a new order for the remaining lines. If you have run into a similar situation, how did you solve it?

IFS8 on Windows Server 2016 or later

HiI know that IFS 8 is not supported on Windows Server 2016 or later but did anyone actually tried to install it on that platform?We have IFS8 installation that needs to run for few more years as archive only (not in active use) and IT does not want to manage Windows 2012 any more. Upgrade to IFS 10 or IFS Cloud is not feasible. Neno

Cancelled PO - pegging still showing on Material Shop Order Line and can't delete item

We have 2 material lines on our shop order we wanted to delete. The PO was cancelled and the items unassigned from Project however the pegging is still showing to the PO so it won’t let us.Any idea how to fix this

Logs for Rest Call Custom events

Hi Is there a place/page/table to see logs for REST call custom event actions? We are trying to create one to create an event-based integration to another system, but every time the event is fired nothing will happen. We have confirmed with other event actions that our event is triggering, but our rest call seemingly doesn't hit. No errors on screen, nothing in application messages.Is there somewhere else that we should be looking? I have tried with Basic Auth and Bearer, we have tried multiple different Rest calls that we can get to work in Postman and in dotNet.We are on 10.8Best regards

Changing Image Icons in PSO

HiThe home and GPS car icons seems to be very difficult to differentiate as they are similar. Home icon showing black circle with home symbol and GPS car icon showing black circle with car symbol, but we need to closely see. Is there any way we can change the PSO icons to differentiate both?

Hi,I would like to ask, if somebody can explain me how is quantity calculated in recurring campaign in Demand Planner.Example:Template campaign last 2 days and there is quantity 10pcs. It is valid for one part and one flowThis is my forecast for this flow/partI create recurring campaign from this template campaign, I change date range from 18.12.2023 to 14.01.2024. System calculated recurring campaign quantity to 322,72 pcs. Why?I found this in documentation:,,The campaign quantity for each part is decided by the perceptual amount the campaign had compared to the forecast in the template campaign.”Could somebody explain it to me how it is calculated?Thanks Romana

Hello everyone, one of the big flaws of RFQ module in IFS10 is that you cannot send RFQ to supplier who are not already created in IFS as master data.i was thinking of using prospect supplier and allow the users to create a prospect supplier to whom they can send RFQs.i would like to know how that works and is it possible to switch a pospect supplier to a real supplier

Hi,Enabling history logging for Quick Reports is working fine in Apps 9 when ‘Quick Report logging ON/OFF’ System Parameter is set to ON. Does anyone know whether this functionality is working fine in Cloud please? I switched the parameter ON and ran a Quick Report but it didnt create a record in QUICK_REPORT_LOG_TAB.Thank you.

in order to see information in the WAGE HOURS ANALYSIS, does the IFS user have to be a Supervisor? When logged in as app owner, I can see all the data that I need to, but if im logged in as a regular user, who is not a supervisor, I cant see the data. Dave

Visibility of columns in list page for IFS Cloud

Please check the following column visibility experiment for the standard list page “/page/CustomerOrders/List” and maybe you can help me answer the questions I asked at the end of the post.When I open the page in table view, not all columns are visible by default:As an IFSAPP, I have set the B2bOrder attribute to “Column Visible”, “Default To Previous” and “Visible”, but it is still not visible in the table view by default to IFSAPP and other users - see below. I have tried restoring the default table view settings and "Clear Mapping Cache", but it change.As an IFSAPP in a global context, I added 2 columns at the end of the list in the table view:The columns are visible to IFSAPP even after logging in again:But when I log in as a different user, these 2 columns are not visible: questions:What columns will be visible by default in the table view on a list page and what does it depend on? Refresh test while maintaining passwords

Using 23r1 I’m attempting to refresh my test instance. We are using the internal password keycloak system as many of our users don’t have email etc. When I refresh test by doing a data pump export/import we have to reset everyone’s password. Is there a way to refresh the data in a test environment without losing the passwords?
