In my previous company we used Handling units. During Physical inventory we used to ”create empty HU” in the count report for adding parts. The result was: findings were included in the count report.Now I am in Apps 10 Upd 11, without HU.Does anyone know another option than “Count per inventory part” to add a “Findling” during Physical Inventory?Thank you for your feedback!Regards Martina
When trying to print a customer invoice I got this error:
We have a 3rd party configurator that creates sales quotes from manufacturing site for sales site with one configured part with a price and more not configured parts with price 0. The structure is necessary to create a DOP order.Does anyone have experience / ideas how to create a purchase order out of this in the purchasing sales site? We have projects connected to / invoiced via customer orders.The customer order lines in these cases are for non-inventory sales parts / service parts.As the revenue numbers are not like expected (some lines are missing in actual revenue) we did some analysis, and found empty cost element fields in project connections.Question: where can we add a cost element to a non-inventory sales part? a default cost element called “Missing Cost element” for all missing cost elements? We want to create Mixed Payment from External Payments, but it is insensitive, what can be the reason? RMB on the External Payment line for all Mixed Payment options are not sensitive.Rights to create mixed payments is usually granted, I am using IFS_ALL permission set.Any other ideas?Thank you for your help! I would like to share this error / analyze / solution:When creating a manual supplier invoice (CH company, CH supplier) we got this error: The supplier must have a DTACH or ISO20022 payment address with payment type ISR or QR-IBAN connected, to be able to use payment reference on the invoices. Question: What is the issue/problem?
We are looking for an alternative to create parts. (APPS 10, Upd 11)I like the New Part Assistant wizard, but it does not cover all our needs.Does anyone have experience with part creation using a custom page or using an own wizard (not sure, if this is possible at all).Our target is to use templates per Divisions and ask the user to enter only the required and relevant data. This should be as simple as possible, as the users who need to create a customer order and need a sales part for this, are not aware of all needs of part data.I also know about the option to create parts using assortments, but for certain fields the default values are not generic enough for our needs.Thank you for your feedback!Regards Martina
Trying to book manual supplier invoice we get this error message: Field [AUTH_ID] is mandatory for Payment Plan and requires a valueWe had booked many manual invoices for this supplier, without issues.The difference is: this time there are more lines than one.Did anyone face this issue? We have started to use the QR Code invoice for Switzerland. (IFS APPS 10 Upd 11)We have invoices with installment plans in use, does this mean, we would need several QR Codes ?In my opinion yes, but we got only one printout with the full amount, not considering the installments.Does anyone face the same issue?Thank you for your feedback!Regards Martina

Hi Community,we want to have part_no keys created automatically by the system.One company is already using several ranges for parts in IFS Apps 10 today.Now we need to develop a concept for Part_no ranges on a global level, which is usable for several sites. Challenges: Using a sequence could provide a part_no which is already in use should we put a prefix per company or simply one ascending number or a combination of both how can IFS Apps support this setup? Hi community, we are working with Apps 10, Update 6, trying to count in a serial configured part in inventory of one site (initial count in during cutover).But we get this error:Not possible to count serial xxx, the current position is inFacility and the latest transaction identified for this serial is Placed in object xxx at site.We are aware that there are issues to move serial objects from one to another site and think that this might be the reason.Did anyone in the community face this error and got it fixed, maybe using an sql update?Thank you for your feedback!
We have created an invoice with 5% discount on header level.Now we need to take the discount out, as we have agreed with our customer that the rebate will be subtracted at a later date.Who can help with this? Hi Community,we are working with Apps 10 Upd. 11 and want to print a label with Part_no and Description, but on Inventory part barcode label (INVENTORY_PART_BARCODE_REP / InventoryPartBarcodeRep) there is no Part Description.But on Inventory Part Barcode Analysis it is visible.Any proposals for a fix without modification?And does anyone print a simple picture of the part on the labels? Hi, I am having this issue:Charges are existing, but not visible. The right mouse menue is opening and at the bottom I can see the totals.The View and API rigths for CUSTOMER_ORDER_CHARGE are granted, but I have no clue, why the header and line with freight cost is not visible.Thank you for any input.Regards Martina
Hi community,with several of our customers we have agreed not to invoice freight for example. But our freight department want’s to have revenues to compare to cost.Usually we have one price for the whole customer order, even if having several lines.Now we are looking for a solution to summarize all lines and charges into one amount for the reports Customer order confirmation and invoice.One idea would be in layout / report designer to show only the first line using the total amount.Are there any other ideas how to resolve this?Thank you for your feedback!Regards Martina
We are implementing the payment Reminder process (create reminder Proposal, approve and print/send) per mail at the moment.But we have realized, that also the statement of account will be sent out automatically when setting AR Customer Contact to Outputmedia E-Mail.Is there a way to disconnect the 2 reports?We want to send the payment reminder per mail to the customer and print only the statement of account.Thank you for your support!Regards Martina
