Hi community,

we have 2 projects (finance and PM) defined and worked on, done postings, invoices etc., which finally should be one project only.

Can anyone help with hints how to consolidate the 2 projects into 1, please?

I suppose you have two financial projects and by consolidation, you don’t mean group consolidation. Instead, you simply want to combine balances from two projects into one project within the same legal company.

If so, you could complete both one of the financial projects. When doing the completion make sure to define a repost rule and then repost the balances to a completely new project.

Hi Martina,

Given that I don’t have any more information about the case my best advice is to start off by going thought the IFS Documentation process model titled “Complete Project”. Among other things, it explains key concepts of the reposting rule.

Then proceed to your system, preferably to the test environment, and follow the project completion and reposting rule steps per the documentation and see if you get to the desired outcome.
