Settings for Power BI Embedded lobby

Hello,We have created an embedded work space for Power BI and can by some settings find reports available in the element designer phase.But if we want to find the details for a report we have no permissions.What settings or Permissions is required to acces the Element Designer for Power BI-elements?We have tried all the permission sets in IFS and the user also has access to the report in Power BI service.Does anyone have a guideline for this or know what’s missing?

Mass creation of parts

Hello Community!How does companies do mass import of inventory parts, purchase parts and supplier for purchase parts to IFS? Companies that has many new and changed parts and needs to update this frequently? Like create a set of parts with multiple part numbers in one go. I understand that this is possible with migration scripts / tools etc. But when it comes more to a end user function. How are you doing that?

Payment terms in supplier overview

Hello, How is this field in suppliers overview supposed to work “pay term id”? The payment term is administrated on the supplier invoice tab for each company you have. Therefore I guess its blank in the overview? Is there a way to get data in this field? Administrate per company.

BPA workflow for external invoices / posting proposal

We receive all our supplier invoices in the external supplier invoices view. In this view, today we spend a lot of time correcting any incorrect invoices that have not been successfully created. The same applies to invoices that have reached the posting proposal. Here, too, we pay a lot of time administrating things that normal system parameters does not cover. Does anyone have experience using BPA workflow in these views? Of course one part is to work with internal processes and our suppliers. But sometimes the default settings are not enough. Please share your experience!

Attach media file when creating fault report - idea

According to earlier topic: Attach media file when creating fault report | IFS Community We are mainly using the wizard “New fault report” for regestring new work orders. Often we have a need to attach a picture to the fault report. But it is not possible to do it in the wizard. So today the user has to first create the fault report and later go to prepare work order and attach the picture. I suggest these wizards to be configurable in a way there it would be possible to add elements for file/media attachments. If not, these elements should be included in the standard wizard?

Print screen IFS Lobby

We are using a couple of lobbies in IFS Cloud for KPI measuring.Is there a good way to monitor these lobbies on big screens out in production? Is there a tool in IFS that can export a printout of the lobby, or is there some way for other application to read Lobby elements?

Work steps from work task

Hi, For some PM actions we are working with work steps. It is not mandatory to finish every step before we finish the work task. Afterwards we noticed that these work steps never disappears from the object overview even if both work order and work task is finished. Does anyone have any guideline about this?

Demand for resoruces from other maintenance organizations

Hi, we recently updated to 23R1 and noticed that we are not longer allowed to put resource demand across maintenance organizations. The resource has to be connected to the same organization as the workask is assigned to. Otherwise the error message “Resource JOHAN does not have valid Maintenance/Service specific Site Settings defined.”” shows up. Why is that changed? Our process was built after the possibility to put demands across organizations. If a planner needs to borrow 1 resource from another organization to work with her/his worktask it is not possible without changing the worktasks organization or create a new work task?

Working with pricing on Supplier agreements

Hello, We are having a need to work with Supplier agreements with type Blanket Purchase order. This gives us a good way of creating call of orders to our suppliers.The problem we are facing is that we don’t find a good way to handle the price information for the parts linked to the agreement. We are in a need to apply date control to our prices like it’s possible in the price list for “Supplier for Purchase Part” because our purchase prices are changing during the agreement period.The price in the agreement does not give us this opportunity. So, the dilemma for us is. We must connect the parts to our agreement to be able to create call of orders linked to the agreement? But when they are linked to the agreement, we can no longer have date control to the price.We think it’s not possible to handle the pricing separately on “Supplier for Purchase Part” because the hierarchy for orders to select price selects agreements before price lists.Does anyone have an idea how we could think? External supplier invoice load logic

Hello,We are receiveing standard IFS XML-invoices as external supplier invoices. Is there any documentation of the logic how an external invoice fil is created in IFS Cloud? We often get the question why is not this bank account included in the creation, why is this supplier not found in the creation. Why is this authorizer not found?Sometimes the value is supposed to come from the XML file, somtimes it is supposed to be retrieved from IFS. Can I find this logic somewhere? Kind regards,Johan

Limit list of accounts in pre posting for our users

Update price on "Supplier for Purchase Part" from pruchase order

Is there a function in IFS Cloud for updating the field “Price” in “Supplier for Purchase Part” from the view “Purchase Order” when we recieve an order confirmation with price difference? Or must we manually navigate to “Supplier for Purchase Part” and make the change?

Order proposal creates duplicates when changing delivery date.

Hello,We are using the order proposal function. We have inventory parts with planning method B. When we have a Inventory part where phurchase lead time is for example 7. Stock reaches order point and the proposal creates a new requisition, transfer it to an order and the supplier confirms.If the supplier, this time, can’t promise deliveriy whitin 7 days and confirms 10 days. We can not set planned delivery date on our order line. If we do so, the order proposal creates a new requisition because it thinks we can get a delivery whitin 7 days and we will risk to order more quantity than we need.How are we supposed to work in this scenario. We don’t want to change the lead time for the inventory part, because it more likely will be 7 days next time we order. Please help us think.. :)

Hello, Where can I find the process described of ordering a backup for our prod environment in Use Place managed cloud? Is it by ticket handeling in SNOW? The support policy gives me the information about RPO/RTO. But is it described what action I must take if we need to restore?

Hello, Is it illustrated somewhere, the standard process of upgrade on for example example IFS 7.5 on prem version to IFS CLOUD managed cloud, including the steps of deliver the upgraded database to IFS Cloud Use Place which should be used via SNOW? Kind regards,Johan
