I have 2 users getting this error when they use F3. We have cleared the App_data and also cleared cache. It doesn’t go away but happens only once in a while. It only happened after we swapped to 10 from 9. Is it possible in IFS 10 to make it so credit limits do not consider future orders against a customers balance available. Just invoiced orders. Thanks!~

Has anyone used this API before? I am trying to use it to get a plannable quantity from a specific date, but I can’t seem to get the right numbers to calculate. What happens in IFS 10 for a customer that has no credit limit specified, as well as no credit limit on the company level. We are finding after moving to 10 that our customers are being credit blocked when they don’t have a limit set. We went up the chain and found that company doesn’t either. Would this mean that those customers are credit blocked in IFS 10 but not IFS 9? Thanks

Right now we are emailing invoices manually. We create them, then we print them, then we email them in outlook. I am curious, how are others doing this in IFS. Do you set up invoices to email out automatically? If so, how do you do so, where do you store the emails for invoices per customer? Thanks!
Is there a place to learn more information on IFS besides the Academy and Help Pages? The Academy seems lacking in basic how to use while the help pages are vague. They don’t show examples or basic tutorials. Thanks!

In IFS I am being asked to make the availability check at customer order entry check the entire structure for availability, not just the top part being ordered. Is there a reason why this would be needed. I found documentation saying it specifically uses the top level only. I was under the assumption that demand considers the components already, so there's no need for the availability check to also do it. Hello, I am finding that we are not using MS Level 0 parts in our system. We are using MS Level 1 parts as top level parts instead of components. Is there anyone else out there that does this in IFS? It’s my understanding that Level 0 is supposed to be Top Level while Level 1 is components. What are the problems that could arise from using IFS this way? Thanks!
In our system, we have some users that will work in other organization codes when they have done everything they can in their default. This happens at the end of the week. When the users enter in their, all goes well on the result page, except when they reach overtime. Then the result comes in with their default organization code. Is there a place in IFS to make it so over time’s code is the org code they are clocked in as at that time? We try to just change the result but it says you can’t change entry’s that are balance types.
Hello, We are running on Apps 10 and use Crystal Reports for some things. Once in a while, we have a hiccup on print manager where jobs are stuck. The only solution we have found is to restart the print server and then restart the jobs once they go into an error status. Does anyone have a faster solution to this when it happens. It’s annoying to have to restart the server each time. Thanks!
I keep seeing references to an admin page. However, ours doesn’t have one. IFS App 10 update 13. How do I find it / get it? We read that you can turn off multiple supervisors there. Thanks
Hello, We went from 9 to 10 recently. One of our users used to see a budget amount, difference, diff.(%) on the GL Balance Analysis screen. As far as I can tell, the name has now changed to planning. The problem we are having is that it’s completely blank though. Any ideas on what’s going on?
We have our Customer Order Confirmations printing through Crystal Reports. We recently set up a new site. These reports are not showing any information for the new site when we print a confirmation. Is there something in IFS I could be missing for the site set up? Or is there a spot in IFS that tells Crystal which site’s are allowed for this? I looked at the crystal report file itself and it doesn’t seem to be doing anything with the site.
Hello, After moving to IFS 10, we are now seeing shop orders with a finish date AFTER our needed date. This did not occur in IFS 9. Any ideas on where to look that could be causing this? Thanks
I have two sites. One of them the customer orders wanted ship date is defaulting to the day of. The other is defaulting to the next day. I have to make them both for the next day. Any ideas on how this can be achieved? It must be set up somewhere but I have not been able to find it yet. Thanks!
We recently found an issue where we had to turn on a Data Mart Source. I noticed that all of them are set to inactive. Should they be active after an upgrade to 10 from 9? Thanks!
Is it possible to have a customer order “promised delivery date” default to the current day if before 12pm and to the next work day if it is after 12pm?
In IFS 9, we were able to run the demand plan server steps more than once per month. In IFS 10, we are getting a message that it is not allowed. Our steps require us to do this but we keep getting the message “The period has already been aggregated. Create forecast can only be ran once per period”. How do we get around this? We’ve been told to just “ignore the error” but that does not work.
