How is it possible to revalue the weighted Average costed part?Imagine a scenario where the inventory part is set up at Weighted average and made several receipts. The part has been in inventory for several years without any recent transactions. Now the business understands the value of the stock has gone down. Is there a way to revalue the inventory so that the previous value will change and the lost value charged against PnL. This is possible under standard cost.. but the concern is how to do this under Weighted average method.

Why am I not seeing the capacity on the Manufacturing Visualizer using the Labor Operation Load in Standard Hours, it shows the team Available Capacity. I believe it used to, not sure why I’m not seeing it. The work center has daily capacity in the time frame I’m looking. I have also tried it for another business that is machine drive and it doesn’t show for Machine Operation Load in Standard Hours. I have capacity in all workcenters.

Hello, Is it possible to have different planning methods in a multilevel product structure. For example we have a 6 layer product structure with different disciplines. I want to be able to make the lower levels for sheetmetal parts planning method D (fixed lot sizes), but the other levels have to be Planning method A so if the customer orders 4 we need to make 4 end assembly's but the sheetmetal parts for example 12 pcs. Can anyone help me with this topic? Thank you in advance

Not really sure why the Demand Server cannot be started.We cannot log in with any user. Error states ‘Invalid Password or username.’The user is not locked. The periods are defined thru 2023I know that a user reported that the last time he used this was 09/2022….so not sure when the error started.Has anyone experience this and know a fix or what to look at?
Hi, Does anyone know what the task (job) “Complete DP Data Refresh” functionally does and if it is an essential task to routinely schedule for a live running demand planner client? I have a demand planner manual that details the available demand planner tasks however it does not disclose the specific actual actions that are carried out by “Complete DP Data Refresh” task and the impacts/changes they have on the client. Hey guys, My first post here so please let me know if I’ve posted in the wrong thread or missed any information required to explain my issue in greater detail. When running MRP, you have a dialog box that has the option to run CRP alongside in a tick box, I tick this but the data seems to be missing from CRP, or it doesn’t actually run possibly?We have to wait until the system automatically runs CRP overnight until we can see any changes made in MRP, reflected in CRP. Is there any way around this, other than just having to wait it out? Kind regards,Martin.
HI,Trying to easily (not tying a bunch of different reports together) and easy way to tie back the lot number of the material consumed on a shop order back to the receipt on a Purchase Order so I can specifically see the price we paid for the material consumed in specific shop orders. Does anyone know an easy way to see this within IFS? Thanks!
Hello,As seen in the attached picture on the Quality Basic Data page, the marked parts are not marked. However, its status is inactive as seen in the 2nd picture on the Control Plan page. Then, when activated as shown in the 3rd picture, it automatically marks the Mandatory part. Then, on the Quailty Basic Data page, the marked area in the 4th picture becomes ticked. How can I avoid this situation?
Hi, Does anyone have any experience of using ‘or’ statements in demand flow SQL statements? We are trying to create a demand flow for demand planner client using an “or” in the sql statement to exclude some customers. Our statement is:Select contract, part_no, issue_date, issue_qty from IFSAPP.external_invent_part_issue_pub where CUSTOMER_NO <> 'CUST1' or CUSTOMER_NO <> 'CUST2' The flow doesn't error out and is created in the client, but the quantities in the created flow are still the total demand, so no exclusions are being done. Our QC analysis results were displaying just fine until we applied IFS Apps 10 Update 11 - 14 on March 12th. Now the results recorded during processing of a shop order are not displaying on the Analysis Results. Anyone else seeing this? Thanks
