Hi guys,I needed to keep two fields between two logical units with the same value at the same time so that the user can edit them in both logical units. I used an event on both fields that triggers when the field is changed. Both events is runnig like background job. Event1 triggering when value in object1 is modify in LU1 --> make copy value to object2 in LU2Event2 triggering when value in object2 is modify in LU2 --> make copy value to object1 in LU1 In 99% of the cases this works fine, but sometimes it happens that these two events get stuck and loop until I turn off one of the events. Anyone have any ideas on how to prevent this cycling? It's clear to me why this occurs, but I would need to be able to have the value of the fields interleave between logical units and at the same time be able to change it anywhere.If anyone has a better idea I would be grateful. As per the current design of the IFS Group Consolidation design, we are not able to combine income statement accounts with balance sheet accounts in one IC elimination rule.What is fundamental rationale behind this design? Is there any accounting basis for it? There are some businesses scenarios where one leg in an expense account of a company whereas the other leg is in a balance sheet account of another company.For example, in reimbursements, one company will credit the amount to reimbursement account (Current Asset) and whereas it will hit an expense account in the other company. So these kind of transactions will not be automatically eliminated as IC rule cannot contain both IS and BS accounts. What is the recommended approach (best practice) to handle such scenarios automatically?

Hi,This problem is occurring in IFS APPS8.I have made changes to a custom enumeration list logged on as IFSAPP. Published the changes and reloaded the configuration and verified that the changes are then visible in the relevant screen which is Report in Work Order.However, when I log in as another user the list of values that should appear as a drop down list for the relevant column in the Report in Work Order screen is blank. 2 values were added to a list that originally contained 3 values.While logged on as user nguild (instead of IFSAPP) I can actually go to the Custom Enumeration screen (view Custom Objects from the context menu) and view all of the values in the list but I can’t see them in the drop down list for the column in the Report in Work Order screen. Can anyone point me to the solution to this problem please? Cheers,Neil.

Hello, We are facing a huge issue, in our test and config environments, we cannot inspect workflows anymore, even if they only have a simple projection call in it. When inspecting, we just get the “loading” popup that never goes away. This is on 23R1 and so far, it seems like no one else has been experiencing this other than us. What could be causing this? We’ve refreshed the caches in hopes of resolving this issue but so far nothing has been working. Any and all insight would be very much appreciated. Thanks,Bryan

Hi, we are on Apps10, update 20. I am testing event actions to send approval emails for a specific class of document and when I (or any other user) approves their line on the document revision approval tab, the approver ID and name fill in automatically-see line 1 below. But for my colleague Ryan, he is able to approve but the approver ID and name are blank. There is no error message. He is on the doc access template with view and edit rights. I checked many documents and it works fine for other users who approve documents all the time.This doesn’t seem to be caused by our event action but is coming from standard IFS. I’ve never seen this before, does anyone have an explanation?

Hi All, Is it possible to do the Stage billing invoicing at header level of customer order?If not, is it possible to do invoicing for all lines together for each stage?In other words, When Customer order is created with multiple lines and stage billing profile is set across each of the CO lines.Once customer order is released, we will select the billing stage lines, right-click and then click Create Invoice”, when I chose more than one lines and RMB on lines to select the create invoice option, “create invoice” option is disappearing. But it is possible to create an invoice for each CO line at a time.So, kindly suggest if there is any way to create a invoice for multiple stage lines. Thanks in advance.
