Set user time zone

Dear @dszymanIn Aurena, even when a Time Zone Code is set in “Business Activity Time Zone per User”, when you navigate to Business Activity window “Set User Time Zone” is shown.The reason for this is in the basic data Business Activity Time Zone per User, there is a check box “Notify Change” which in IEE will give the user a notification if the computer time zone has been changed. If computer time zone has changed. (Ex: if you travelled to another country) you might also have to change time zone for business activities.In the Aurena framework there is no support for this kind of notifications. Instead, the user has to manually change the time zone. Normally end users do not have access to the basic data pages like BA Time Zone per User, hence the Set User Time Zone command in the Business Activity page is available even if time zone has been defined.However, if you delete the Command Group for “Set User Time Zone” from Page Designer of Business Activity window. Hi @NecManaNa Thank you for the update. To my understanding as all the prerequisites are available, it’s bit difficult to conclusively judge the error without a detailed investigation. Hi @NecManaNa First could you please check whether you have required access to the relevant site in the Sites per users window? If not so, please add your user and rerun the process.Even if you’re still encountering this issue inadequate Permission set is the reason for this error. Could you reconfirm whether your user has been granted access to the below Projection in the Users window.Please try adding this Projection and this will help you to execute the Move to Transport.Hope this helps

ASC (ASC Shipment) module and ASC documentation in IFS

How to use Customer Order Template to create a new order in Cloud

Hi @prnopl When referring to the Customer Order Template functionality you can refer to below steps to use a defining a template with containing the parts and quantities that the customer usually buys. Steps to define a Customer order template When using templates, you can choose to select the suggested lines from the following:A predefined template (entered in Customer Order Template). The customer's latest order The customer's latest quotation The customer's orders during a specific period The customer's quotation requests during a specific period A specific order number A specific quotation numberYou can connect a default template to a customer in the Customer/Sales tab.Example: 01. Predefine a Template in Customer order Template window02. Connect to the relevant Customer under Sales tab03. sales quotation discounts

Hi @Deepak, You can enter potential discount types and their corresponding default discount rates. The line discount percentage that is retrieved automatically by the system, based on the pricing functionality. Discounts in campaigns, agreements, price lists, customer basic data and customer hierarchy (if applicable) are taken into consideration. You can follow below steps to apply DiscountOpen the Sales Basic Data window. Click the Sales Discount Types tab, and create a new record. Enter the short code for the discount type in the Discount Type column. Enter a description of the discount type in the Description column. Enter the default discount percentage rate in the Discount % column. Save the record How to locate Sales quotation discount in Print reportExample: 1. Entered 20% discount in Sales Quotation Line 2. Activating customer agreement with no Deal per Part lines

Commission based on Netvalue

Hi @Carlo Palma If Use Price Incl Tax check box is selected in the customer order, the commission calculation basis is the gross amount of the customer order line or the invoiced gross amount of the customer order line. However, if use Price Incl Tax check box is not selected in the customer order, the commission calculation basis is the net amount of the customer order line or the invoice net amount of the customer order line. Sticky Notes on MRP Part Information Screen

Hi Guys, When we add a sticky note for a record in MRP Part information window, that same sticky note being appeared for a different record with same site information. This can be observed in both Apps 9 & Apps 10 core environments. So my question is, does this behavior a bug or a standard behavior of the application? Hi Sashika, I have come across a similar type of an issue and this was fixed by a local fix earlier. The fix is consist of IEE client changes.Its related to the developed code in the MRP part Information window. Please see the below findings in the technical investigation. When debugging the code it was found that, in FND_NOTE_BOOK_TAB tab which saved the sticky note information has incorrect KEY_REF value for the logical unit MrpPart. In Mrp_Part_Tab both Contract , Part_No column combination is the key. But in the FND_NOTE_BOOK_TAB it missed the Part_No in KEY_REF. That was the issue for duplicating the sticky notes upon contract (SITE) without consider

Pending lines in ASC Shipment disposition

Hi @Sashika Lakshan , As Rangi mentioned, this is due to an error in the shipment generation process from ASC side. This can happen due to numerous issues from the ASC shipment generation and ASC transport-related flows. The best option available is to remove these lines through a data repair from the YVVDA_CUST_SCHED_PLAN_DEM_TAB table. /Oshada Thank you @Oshada Samarasinghe.

Pending lines in ASC Shipment disposition

@Shashika Lakshan Demand for shipping line gets Progress Type ‘In Progress’ when the Background job for Shipment creation is running. It seems these lines stay in ‘In Progress’ erroneously, even after processing the shipment. Perhaps error has occurred during shipment creation which was later solved, but progress type remains unchanged. {When there is an error in the Shipment Generation Process (Shipment Generation by the Background ie.our id is missing ), you can see the error description via ‘ASC Shipment Disposition’ -> ‘Message Detail’ RMB ->‘Message Handling’ window.} Please refer solutions provided for customer HUF and Polypipe for this known issue where appearance of Invoiced closed/cancelled CO lines on Demand for shipping ,caused by unknown root causes. Change Password

Hi @Sashika Lakshan , If you go through the below thread, you would get a better picture of self-user permission which is required to edit user password. Yet your requirement is to get a better error message which denotes whether this is a permission-related issue, PW issue, etc. As error of “something went wrong..” is not detailed enough. I believe this is something qualified enough to report IFS Product development team. Hi @Xavier Fernando Thank you for the reply. The error will be reported to the Product Development team.

Change Password

I think as Xavier mentioned you can post the idea to RnD to add a meaningful error message to give what exactly is the issue. In your case to fix the issue, it should be related to the password complexity. Navigate to the Oracle users window and check the Oracle profile that is belonging to the user and then open the Oracle profiles window. Now check the “Verification function field”. There must be a verification function enabled which has to be fulfilled in order to change the password. Hi @Nadeesh HerathThank you for the update. In fact requirement is to get a meaningful error message to obtain a better understanding of the error. Also, I have checked on the customer’s verification function and seems like they have define their own verification code. So, as Xavier mentioned above the best approach would be to direct the issue to Product Development team to check on the possibility of changing the error message.

Change Password

Hi Sashika, I doubt if we can change the password in Regional TEST environments. Perhaps that might be the reason even though the error does not clearly say what is the cause. Can't register inspection results

Register Arrivals > Receive dialogue box W/D/R No field - can this field default to blank and mandatory?

Hi John, You can define W/D/R No in Receive Inventory Part window when receiving materials to the inventory.Also, Change W/D/R/ option is accessible in the Receipt window under the Details tab (RMB on Line level data) Hope this helps.

FSM Resource Scheduling concepts

Hi Sashika, Mainly there are more concepts considered when performing scheduling in FSM/PSO . Having the idea on each will help to get the clear idea on the logic behind.- Duration of activity – This parameter to be considered to verify whether the Activity to be scheduled in a shift or during Overtime- Regions - An activity in a region can only be scheduled to a resource who can work in that region. So checking this for allocate only the appropriate resource.- Availability – Activity/Place may have restricted times to be performed. These can be defined for a particular activity or a place. Apart from the captioned concepts bellow parameters are being considered when performing the scheduling.SLA Periods , Skills ,Parts ,whether the resource is fixed or not , Resource preferences , Shift Time & Utilization , Max Travel to avoid long journeys , Non-working time etc. Hope this helps. Doesn’t allow to create collective invoices
