Hi @Johny HP Happy to help you by providing some insights that we use in MRO.As I can see that, most of your pain points related to quality department w.r.t measurements and etc. In IFS, you can use part “Characteristics” to define attributes which could show your inspectors to update those details in ‘Disposition Shop Order’ level.Further, you can control and alert using custom events linking those custom attributes.Hope this might help you.

Hi @nmmjacek ,We need to have rename history in system. Ideal goal is not to remove the stock. Even if we remove, I do not see any option to rename the part number.This is mainly for modification compliance.
Hi @Sayeef.M ,I have done these solutions under App10 as a customization. Let me know, if you need any assistance. Generally, code part value play a role here w.r.t revenue recognition. But, if you want to see the revenue recognition at each financial period, you might need to develop a report which should include (internal and external service cost).
Hi @ryandu , Thank you for the response. The point is, if we do ‘Count per Inventory Part’, system takes the inventory as ‘Company Owned’ stock. Our stock is ‘Customer Owned’ stock. Also, as I mentioned that those customer owned stock’s lot batch’s balance quantity in system is ZERO.This is the scenario, that we need to understand as how to do it?

I would like to know, if we create a permission set for LTU, how do we know, that how many windows that we can include ?For example: If we create Purchase Requisitioner Permission Set, can we add any number of IFS windows under that? is there any limitations or how do we know it?
@XitThilaB It is possible with few conditions.You could disassemble and put the parts in inventory without creating demand in ASOs using disposition codes in DSOs.Also, You could have custom events to remove all operations and materials for all assembly shop orders in such cases.However, you have to use one dummy part number with zero cost to process the ASO. Further, at the end, you have to scrap the received engine in system as well.Hope this helps.I have seen this requirement from few other customers as well and some are doing the above suggested solution also. However, using dummy part in ASO should support with audit and inventory count perspective as well.

@Kerry Sitler I didn't receive any responses, but I was able to resolve it in below manner after trying out many workarounds.The issue is to get back the inventory part to your inventory as well as handle the service cost. So, just try below steps and let me know, if this suits you.Let's assume the shipped out Part is ‘A’1. Create a new PO with order code 01 but similar to previous order code 06 PO. This PO has no link with CAMRO structure.2. Add the part (A) details, make sure you have set the ownership and condition code similar to the originally shipped out part (A) which you are expecting to receive. If there will be a change in condition code after repair by vendor, put the new condition code in the new PO line.3. Now verify the 'Current Status' is 'Issued' for that part (A) in 'Part Serial' window.4. For the Part A, verify whether the check box is un-ticked for 'Stop PO Arrivals of Issued Serials' under 'Part' window.5. Now, if you want to track it, you can peg the new PO to rele

I think, I need to explain bit more here.When I say “Module” that mean, Module has components. So, module is represented as Disassembly & Assembly shop orders in MRO Interim Order structure while it's components have disposition shop orders.So, I am asking a function where I can change the part number of Assembly Shop Order receipt.Is that possible?
Hi Devni, This actually depends from customer to customer. For example let’s say you have extensive amount of modules defined within your Serial Structure Template, which again includes multiple number of modules and leaf parts (roughly 10000+ parts) then you’ll in fact experience a form of performance degradation when performing automatic disassembly. In addition to that, you’ll experience a sort of performance degradation when expanding descendants within the tree navigator. So in order to counter this RnD has developed a solution and will be available with the next UPD. Irrespective of the external factors this fix should provide a considerable performance improvement within the MRO Interim order structure screen. @Ravindu Perera Could you please let me know which UPD version will have solution? This might be helpful for me with my ongoing MRO project.
Hi TecNavanK, I assume that you are referring this topic while performing Disassembly SO receipt. As I know, you have to manually enter the serial number by referring “Actual Off Log” tab . If business process permits, you can perform ‘Automatic Disassembly’ to whole structure or to a specific module.Regarding custom configuration, I can give you an idea to simply this work.alSince all component parts under each disassembly module is listed under ‘Produced Part’ tab, You can create a custom RMB option there, which would perform the disassembly SO receipt without entering off-log serial number. However, this would require some lengthy code work.

Hi, You can remove the DSO and include the part A as a module to work scope. Please follow below steps. I have done this in App10. Bring the DSO status to ‘Released’ or ‘Planned’. Exclude the part from work scope and release the work scope as well as Interim Order structure. Install the module / serial part in parent serial structure and include to work scope using ‘Complete Partial Offlog’ functionality. Calculate the maintenance level again in work scope. You will see the part A is appearing as a module, then set the maintenance level and release the work scope to proceed further. Best Regards, Thieuban Ampalavanar
