Hi Experts,

As I know, ‘Finished’ & ‘Cancelled’ status WOs are viewed in ‘Historical Work Orders’ screen. But, if you look on the search option for ‘Status’, it shows two more options i.e. ‘END’ & ‘Reopened’ . So, can anyone please let me know the situations of those WOs ??? what are the instances of getting such status for WOs ???

Thanks,

Thieuban

I found the bug record below.  In APP9 , with the fix for Bug ID# 129629;  END and Reopened values, were removed.

Bug ID# 129629 - Status drop down list contains unnecessary values in Search - Historical Work Order -window, for APP9.

1. Open Search -window in Historical Work Order -window
2. Select the drop down in Status field

You will get the following list of values:
   Cancelled
   END
   Finished
   Reopened
   <>
   :
   !%

END and Reopened values are irrelevant because Historical WO can't have statuses like those."
RnD Solution : Removed 'END' and 'Reopened' from the state enumeration

Thank you very much Jabous.

Unfortunately, IFS asks about historical work orders status during IFS Specialist examination which I had a week back, that's why I asked this question here. Whoever looked on this, might be in problem now for their exam.

I really do not understand what you are saying? there is no ‘END’ status for a Historical Work Order.  And you can RMB on a Historical Work Order to ‘Reopen’ it.  But once it is reopened, it will no longer be shown in the Historical Work Order screen.  So your training class is saying there is a status of END?
