Unable to migrate Part Serial Catalog

To migrate qty in stock I would suggest using the methods behind the window “Receive Inventory Part”.It first uses some method in Temporary_Part_Cost_Detail_API I beleive, (might be Add_Details) to create the cost details for the part the first time.Then it use Inventory_Part_In_Stock_API.Receive_Part_With_Posting to do the receipt into inventory. You send in the cost_detail_id_ created in the first method to this one. You get an NREC transaction and usually when doing a migration you want the migrated amounts into specific accounts so you temporarily change the posting control for the posting types involved in the NREC transaction to fit the migration.Unfortunately I do not have an example of how it is used exactly but I normally write a PL/SQL script for this.

Now I read the initial post properly.Are you migrating data directly into InventoryPartInStock?If so, I would not recommend that. Quantity in stock could be migrated with other methods so that you get a proper inventory value etc.

It seems like it is not possible to use the New__ method for this LU. Instead there are several types of new methods used to create new lines in this LU depending on which status the serial has: You need to use one/some of those methods instead.

That view has a WHERE condition to only show your own background jobs unless you have the system privilege ADMINISTRATOR. So I guess you want to have that set on your user as a start. If you already have that I would test following SQL thru both Power BI and the SQL tool you use to see that you really are the same user in both:SELECT IFSAPP.Fnd_Session_API.Get_Fnd_UserFROM dual

Are you logged in as the same user in both cases?If not, it can be so that if it is a view you fetch data from, it can have conditions regarding row level security on company, site or other things. In that case you need to setup the user from Power BI to be allowed to see the company, site, etc.If you have the name of the view you try to fetch data from it is easier to say if it has this or not.

API documentation shows how you shall call the Rest API’s, which is not what the data migration tool is using. So to check the values you need to check how the data looks like in the view, like in my picture.As you say the client values are often similar to what you see in the API documentation with spaces so you could do trial and error to find it, if there are no bigger differences.

Between APP9 and APPS10 there was a rebuild of how receipts are made. The new way of doing receipts is generic so now you can receive more things than just Purchase Order Lines into receipt.The equivalent method is this: Receive_Order_API.Packed_Arrival However due to the generic changes the input looks a bit different. The keys to Purchase Order Line is not called ORDER_NO, LINE_NO etc. instead it is called SOURCE_REF1, SOURCE_REF2 etc. and a new thing called SOURCE_REF_TYPE_DB to determine that it is a purchase order receipt (That parameter shall have value “PURCHASE_ORDER” for a purchase order line receipt.).Look at the code in this method and you get a hint about how it can be used:Receive_Purchase_Order_API.Receive_Mro_No_Part_Lines__The example is a non inventory receipt so it does not contain all things for a normal receipt into inventory but you see the changed key fields and qty columns. The issue in scheduling area was fixed in 23R1 SU2. The mobile part was fixed later in SU4.You seems to have SU3 so you do not have the mobile fix so taking the last SU is recommended.

The info_ parameter is only an OUT parameter meaning that it only returns a value so it should not have any value when you call it, make it 2000 characters long.The objid_ parameter is the ROWID from the table, the unique identifier of the record you want to modify.

I would like to emphasize that there is not always possible to replace a PL/SQL event action with a Workflow. Since it says BPA_EXECUTION_EXCEPTION it is probably a Workflow configuration that is incorrect.Maybe if you use the log window you can spot which one it is.

Are you referring to the red dot like this? This is nothing stopping. It is totally fine to deploy this from developer studio.This is more information for R&D since they are not allowed to do things like this but as customizations, when you know which modules that are installed, this is fine.However I would not have added this to the FNDBAS module since you are not allowed to customize that module. instead I would actually have added it to the WO module. Then this would not have happened.Also, the name of the Utility API you have used all capital letters. That is not so nice since that should be “Camel Case”. The name of the package in the database will be: “C_F_S_E_R_E_P_A_P_I_API”. I’m not sure what that name means but maybe use “CFseRep” instead which will be “C_FSE_REP_API” in the database?
