I’m trying to put in a shop order for 100 units of a final assembly which uses 1 each of a component we receive from another location within our own company. Because the component is used in multiple assemblies, and 20 were already on order for a different final assembly part number, the shop order is only driving a distribution order for 80. Those 20 were already allocated to another project, but that association is only through a note, and there is no way to assign parts acquired through a DO to a project until they are received at our site. We need 120 components total for 2 different final assemblies but IFS sees the 20 already on order as available units and is therefore not demanding the correct quantity. Is there a way to change the quantity of a Distribution Order to correct this shortfall?
We are interfacing Bill of Materials from CAD / SolidWorks to IFS Engineering Structures by using CADlink. However, for components expressed in for example Length instead of Pieces, both CAD/SolidWorks and CADlink have different fields to differentiate between Quantity and Length. Where IFS's Engineering / Product Structures only use the field Quantity per Assembly (in combination with the Unit of Measure).I understood that in CADlink, the quantity is based on the quantity of the component in the 3d model / drawing. And therefore can not be changed in CADLink. Therewith it seems to interface the quantity, while actually in IFS we would need the Length. Does anyone recognize this issue, and knows how this was resolved in your situation? Thanks in advance!
We have a question regarding an SSIS connection to IFS. I am using Visual Studio 2019 - Community Edition and have established a connection to IFS using Microsoft's Oracle connector to pull some data via an SSIS package.We have IALs in IFS that are considered views and have access to them with a "read-only" user account given to us. I can see and access them in PL/SQL Developer, but I can only access tables in Visual Studio SISS package, I can't access the IAL views.Is there some type of limitation with the Oracle Connector? Hi all, My issue is regarding update of Task Status via Mobile client. When user ‘Rejects’ a Task. Current behaviour is: The ‘Task Status’ will change to “Rejected”. Task in ‘All’ filter (Mobile client) will be removed.I need to customize the above behaviour in this way;‘Task Status’ to change to “Open”. Task is Removed in ‘All’ filter (Mobile Client) Task is sent to ‘Team Tasks’ Filter (Mobile Client)I have done (1) and created a Business Rule to update task status to “Open” after User ‘Reject’ a task. The business Rule also removes the assigned Person. I am having difficulty in the Mobile TabletWhat is currently happening is that the task is removed from the ‘All’ Filter screen. After a few seconds it is added back to ‘All’ Filter. It does not back to ‘Team Task’ Filter. Task status is “Open” and Task.Person_id is blank in the Service Request. When I reinitialize or refresh the task (Change status to A then change back to Open. The task goes to ‘Team Task’ filter. Any ideas?

I have a problem getting default search to work right here. When choosing Work type to search through and filer that list it is not starting with Default search but showing always all the rows. I can get default search working in the previous window by editing Properties but how to add default search for the next search window?

Hi all, Many of our users are complaining that the search fields are disappearing when re-loading the pages in IFS Cloud. We have already tried having them save & properly log out and log back in, but the search fields keep reverting back to the default ones and not the user selected ones.Is there a way to force the fields to save other then that? We are not looking to customize those search fields for all users, just having the user defined ones save. It’s odd because sometimes they “stick” and other times they revert back.
Hi Community,Unable to add tabs in the WIC -CFG. Trying to add OTV(List) tab underneath Applications next to Mobilization Draft. But It places down as a separate list. When we check in the page designer it shows me its placed in the Application tab. Do Anyone have any idea on how to do it in only from configurations, with out code changes? Thank you,
