We are using IFS APPS9 and have a question about creation of a Supplier Shipment. We have a Customer Order that didn’t actually deliver the customer order lines. Still working on why 0 were delivered.Linked Purchase Order, though Supply Code: Purchase order Direct was received: Part 96000 needs to be returned to the supplier, however, when we try to create a supplier shipment, through Register Inspection Results, we get the error: Location 555 does not exist. We received the parts into 555. We have a part in 555. Can someone help us understand why we are not able to create the Supplier Shipment.
A user has added a document to a Work Order, that we need to have removed. The user added it through the Mobile Work Order system. Error when trying to remove it from Document Revision > Objects is: Only Users with Admin Rights have access to this operation.Doc Class = FS TECH SCANDoc Basic details on this Doc ClassDefault Object Access Levels was only set to View Access. I changed it to both Admin & Edit access, this did not allow me (an Admin) to delete the document FS TECH SCAN’s only Access Group assigned does not include my group. When I tried to add another group, I get the same error.Can someone point me in the direction of steps needed to be updated so an admin can delete this document by a user.ThanksHayley
Recently implemented to IFS Apps 9. Have orders being entered from our webstore. Some of the orders are pegging the line items, but am unsure how to determine where. They are Inventory parts, and pegged, but not to a Shop, Service or Work Order. Can anyone point me to where we might determine where this order is pegged and unpeg it to continue to process. We are unable to unpeg or cancel the line. Thanks

Using IFS9When creating a payment orders, is there a way for the payment date to default to today’s date for CHK’s like it does with Payment Method ACH or WIRE. Once we change the Payment Method to CHK, the Payment Date field clears, requiring us to rekey in today’s date. Where is the setting to update the default for Payment Orders with Payment Method = CHK?Initial Create Payment Order Screen: Once we key in the Payment Method of CHK, then we have to re-key in the Payment Date.Thanks
When an invoice is printed where the part lines contain Price Source = Unspecified, the parts do not print on the invoice. What is needed to print the part on the Invoice?

We are on Apps9When Registering PO Arrivals on PO 8737, the user received an error stating: Connecting a Purchase Order to a project is only allowed when the Purchase Order is in Planned Status.The Order of Operations for our order is:Customer Order created with a connected Project Customer Order Released - which created Purchase Order with linked project in Planned status Purchase Order Released - sent to Supplier. Supplier sent parts to our warehouse Team trying to receive in the parts, and is receiving the following error: Confirmed there were no changes on the line items for the customer order, purchase order or the project activities. Please help determine why we are receiving this message on this Purchase Order.Thanks
IFS9Is there a way to easily compare Permission Sets and find which permission set has missing accesses granted? My two situations:Recently copied PROD to TST. Changes were made in TST, but not in PROD and changes not documented. Is there an easy way to determine what was changed in TST? We realize we could copy TST back to PROD, but we’d like to identify what this change was. Two Similar custom permissions sets created 9+ months ago. Can we compare them to each other to determine which ones have accesses the other doesn’t?We are using Apps9
Using Apps9. Some of my users are locking themselves out of the MWO after 10 password tries. Does anyone know the following:How to change the login attempts from 10? (not that I want to, but would like to know where it’s configured Where in IFS can you see that the user locked themselves out of the MWO. Is there a MWO profile, that would allow us to unlock their MWO account? Currently, I’m resetting their IFS Password, requesting they change the password in IFS first, then use their updated password to get back into the MWO. Is this the right direction? Does the lockout unlock itself after x number of hours (overnight?) I will test for this, but if anyone knows..Thank you,
We are receiving the following error when attempting trying to create a Supplier Return. We have 2 milestone /staged payments both in Invoiced status. Latest date on the last staged payment is 5/13/2021.We still have parts to be repaired. So, how do we get the parts returned to the supplier for the repair? ThanksHayley
Within Apps9, can you please provide direction on the best way to lock down edits to the customer record or transactions (Bus Opportunity, Sales Quote, Customer Order, Shop Order, Customer Invoices) by our Sales Team, so they can edit only their own, and any direct reports. If they don’t have direct reports, they cannot edit any transaction or customer unless their name is listed as the Salesman. Or can this be locked down by the Main Representative? Example: Only Jane Smith can edit Jane Smiths Sales Quote. She can view everyone’s, but can only edit her own.
Upon delivery, one of our inventory part lines changed price. This is not a configured based part. The price at the part level did not change. What are other reasons why the price would change on a line at delivery?
What is the permission set option to select to allow View, Edit and Create a Configuration on a Sales Quote? We are trying to establish a permission set to allow to configure sales quotes, but not other options with the standard sales permission set. I have created a custom permission set, that is allowing to Copy From another configuration, but not to create new, view or edit the configuration. We have a customer with an Inactive Delivery Address ID 1: There is a valid Address ID 2 set up on this record. When creating new orders through the Customer Consignment Stock, I’m not finding the screen to update the Delivery Address ID, and get the following error. How do we update the Delivery Address ID on this screen? The Delivery Address field is not a List Value. I am not seeing hidden fields. Thank you,
IFS Community, Can anyone please point me to the direction of where we can update IFS to prevent the warning “Wanted Receipt Date xxxx-xx-xx is not a Working Day” We have both a WEEKDAY and WEEKEND day type, which we thought would prevent this error, but am still receiving the warning, each time our scheduled database task runs throughout the day & weekend. What step are we missing to prevent this error?
We have a scheduled database task that runs every 2 minutes, processing Purchase Orders. We have been getting Background Job Errors on the weekend, as we only have 1 Day Type for Weekday. We created a Weekend Day Type in our TST system, and the background job errors went away. My team wanted us to ask the community of any additional considerations of having a weekend Day Type, that we need to consider if we create a Weekend Day Type in Production?
We are processing an RMA for 2 lines. Line 1 originally was shipped from our warehouse. Line 2 was shipped from our supplier. All parts were returned to our warehouse. As we were Receiving in Line 2, we received the information message stating: Please provide information of what happens if we answer OK to this financially? Is there another way to receive in parts shipped from a Supplier? Thanks
How do we send inventory back to a supplier for rework/repair?We received on parts 3 months ago. We have paid the supplier and are now found a failed piece of equipment. How do we send it back to the supplier for rework. The original PO cannot be re-opened due to staged payments already being processed. We do not wish to receive a credit, or invoke any other transaction other than showing this part left our company and is sitting at the supplier.
