Hi, yes you can do this as you have highlighted above. Can I just confirm the behaviour you want is to transfer tasks to PSO in a status of DoNotSchedule? Presumably you want to do this and then manually plan the activities in PSO ?

Azure error message - FSM/PSO implementation

Hi Lorenzo, there isn’t a list of errors output to the event logs but it looks like the services are not able to retrieve the information they need from the database. Is this an environment hosted by IFS, if so I would raise a ticket with the cloud team.

Outlook calender exceptions sync to FSM and PSO

Hi Markus,Person Calendar Exceptions in FSM should transfer to PSO as a private activity thus blocking out that period of time for the resource in PSO. It may be possible to build an integration from Outlook to FSM so that the person calendar exceptions are created automatically but I’m afraid I can’t help advise on that point.Thanks,Tom

How to set home location in IFS Cloud of a technician in PSO, transferred fom IFS Cloud?

1) Start by navigating to Application Base Setup->Enterprise->Person->Person and search for the Person record. Then click on address and add a new address:Enter the address details manually, the open map button only seems to open google maps, it can’t be used to select a location from the map as the address:2) Cloud only supports geocoding of location address so we need to create the map position via Application Base Setup->Map Services->Basic Data->Map Positions manually using the following syntax:ADDRESS_ID=youraddressid^PERSON_ID=yourperson^Make sure that LU name is PersonInfoAddress3) Navigate to Service->Scheduling->Basic Data->Scheduling Basic Data->Scheduling Resources and edit your scheduling resource to add the address start and end:When you save make sure you don’t get a popup saying there is no map position connected. PSO Behavior

Hi Jithesh,I’m not aware of anything out of the box. PSO is stateless so is only aware of the data it is being fed from the sending system (FSM in this case). If you aren’t sending those tasks to PSO it won’t know about them. Are the schedule board tasks fixed to a date and time? If so then why not send them to PSO so they are included in the schedule?Thanks,Tom

FSM/PSO Object Groups Integration

@Sajith Anushan I have configured the Object Group and it is working fine for the Planning section but under Scheduling section, I can still see Resource data/ Activity data for other object groups. Is it expected behaviour? Then how to restrict data under Scheduling tab? Is there any option apart from using filters? Hi Shamika,Check which groups your workbench user belongs to, perhaps they are in the groups associated with that data. Also, if data (resource or activity) doesn’t belong to an object group it will be visible to all.Regards,Tom

PSO-Duration is not displayed in History workbench

Hi Kamel,Which system is sending the data to PSO ?It looks to me like the SLA for a BREAK class of activity is being included with the SLA for the actual job (activity of class CALL).Perhaps there has been a misconfiguration in the external application providing the input to PSO ?Thanks,Tom

Dataset not loading in to pso

Hi Durga,Can you check the process type on the load file being sent to PSO please, this is on the Input_Reference entity in the load file.Also - check the values of the parameters: perhaps these are set to too short a value, these should only be applied to static or reactive datasets though as far as I’m aware (which is why I’m interested in the process type).Thanks,Tom

Hi Andy,If I understand correctly, you are asking how to set the status an activity is updated to when an appointment request is made from FSM (but before an offer has been accepted) ?If so then the FSM scheduling app param APPT_TASK_STATUS_VALUE is used to define this status.Hope that helps,Tom

PSO Status Updates in a Offline Scenario

Hi Jose,There is a rule commit override for areas with lack of coverage.If you use this commit rule you can increase the number of activities sent to the mobile and the time horizon if a location is known to have poor mobile coverage (such as an underground location).Hope that helps,Tom

FSM/PSO Object Groups Integration

Hi Minindu, In Global Codes, there is a table named OBJECT_GROUP. You need to first create the Group IDs there. This will be transferred to PSO System data through initialization. Then you can connect the object group id in Task screen (under Scheduling tab). Then this will transfer to PSO real time. PSO Workbench freezing randomly - Lots of Invalid sessions warning messages in Event Log

Hi Daniel,I think the changes you are proposing look sensible and should help to clear out the unwanted sessions. I’m guessing you might have already made this change as the post is 3 months old, if so - how did you get on ?How many workbench users do you have on the system and how many QMS services ? There shouldn’t be more than approximately 25 users per QMS, if there are then additional QMS services will be needed.Finally, it looks like you are on an old version as you are using the silverlight version of the workbench so I recommend upgrading to the latest release of PSO 6 update 9.Kind Regards,Tom

PSO - Slowness

Hi Simen,There are many factors to consider with performance so it’s not an easy question to answer without knowing all of the background information, for instancehow long is the scheduling window? are you appointment booking which version of PSO are using etc.To start with I would check out the ‘Data Sizing’ section in the Architecture and Sizing Guide (latest version attached). You can see from that the sizing you have indicated should be schedulable within a single dataset, however depending on the data complexity you may need to make some changes to get the best performance from the system. I would also ensure you are on the latest release of PSO (update 9) as there are some performance enhancements for the workbench in that release.If you are unsure please reach out to IFS for help from a consultant.Kind RegardsTomp.s. the rota issue potentially sounds like a bug, it is designed so that multiple users can work on the same rota at the same time (although this isn’t recommended for

Hi @tomgreenwood When we restrict the number of slots to be returned - in Schedule App params (APPT_BOOKING_MAX_OFFERS) and in PSO (the number of slots in appointment templates) - are we restricting both slots that returned with availability true or false, or just the number of slots with availability equal to true? Hi Joana,No - I’m afraid that isn’t possible. My suggestion is to display these slots as unavailable in your UI so it is clear to the user that there is not availability for that slot. If none of the slots offered are suitable then the current request should be rejected with a response of -1 and a new appointment request made.Kind Regards,Tom

Appointment Booking - perform_threesixty_appt_request

Hi Joana,Slots will be returned with available=false if the ABE isn’t able to find space within the resource’s shift to place the activity for that slot period. The ABE can move existing scheduled activities around the resource’s shift (within their availability periods of course) to find availability but it will not displace activities that are already scheduled unless you set the MaxDisplaceableActivityPriority parameter - by default this is -1 which means no activities will be displaced.Field types and lengths are described in the scheduling schema guide which is in the documentation folder of your PSO release.Hope that helps,Tom

How to use 2 PSO datasets in one FSM environment ?

Hi @Lee Pinchbeck and @Sajith Anushan, Two different threesixty_dataset_id are configured and app params are set for all datasets. Activities from the 2 datasets are visible in PSO but only resources from the first one are visible in Scheduling->Resources. When we try to create the Rota on the second dataset, no error message is displayed and we are back on the same screen : We also checked in the Events screen but there is no error message So am I right in thinking that the actual problem is that you cannot create a rota for the second modelling dataset? How to use 2 PSO datasets in one FSM environment ?

I can confirm that resources have been added correctly to hte team associated to the second dataset. They are visible in PSO on the screen Planning->Resources. @Lee Pinchbeck yes we have scheduled jobs to send the 2 datasets to PSO. What is the name of this table exactly ? Is it a FSM table ? I will check if I can found the resources in it it is called threesixty_ram_load_history
