I was hoping someone could assist. We have lots of Work Orders that Engineers order parts for but then when completing the work it is decided that the parts are not required.On the Materials Tab the Material Line still shows a Qty X Required. This causes confusion as it appears that work is still required to fit the item but this is not the case. The Material Line is now not required. We are unable to change the Qty Required to 0 on the line as we receive the below:We cannot delete the linked Purchase Requisition as the part was delivered and invoiced and remaining in Inventory. This also shows in the Budget Information on the Job but again is incorrect as the Part is not needed. How do we remove this being a required material on a Work Order? Thanks,
Hi, When trying to use the short cuts in a form I experience that I have to 1) click in the browser screen before the shortcuts will be activated, but more than that when it is a form I have to be very specific where I click. If I click in any of the marked areas, be short cut function does not work.

I’m replacing all my 2012R2 servers with 2019 and trying to install Apps 10 on the first. Keep getting a prerequisite fail in the install wizard … Package Microsoft Visual C++ x64 cannot be found. The OHS Server might not work as a result of this ...”. The MWS fails to start.I use the same vcredist_x64.exe prior to running installer.cmd that I used on the 2012 servers without issue.Tried 2010 and 2013 installs as well … same error message. I know that the “standard” IFS barcode report for inventory items contains a “license” plate that relates to information retained in the Inventory Part Barcodes Analysis table.A customer is planning on using the mWo function to issue materials to work orders and it appears that the first prompt that function requests is the item number.Is the mWo able to use the standard inventory part bar codes reports for transactions? If so, how do we configure mWo to do so and if not, what have others done to accommodate the part number request from the mWo. Thanks!

This is correct and it mainly discusses handling those materials from Health and safety perspective.MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheet) information can be registered under Dangerous Goods Information.However, this information can be visible in Part Catalog as well. We have a few questions.How HCM/ Dangerous Goods Information connects with Part Catalog in SCM. Dear community. I am working through an upgrade from Apps9 to IFS Cloud and am recreating some of the Custom Menus with Commands. I have come across the situation that didnt occur in apps 9, which is the data types in a Window with Transfer type of Menu/Command. Here is an example, a custom menu in Apps9 which transferred to Inventory Transaction History, and showed all transaction history associated with that material line, in Apps 9, the source/destination keys were ORDER_NO, RELEASE_NO, SEQUENCE_NO AND LINE_ITEM_NO mapped to SOURCE_REF1, 2,3,4 accordingly. This works fine in Apps9. In Cloud (23R1) when attempting to create the same, since the source data type in the Shop Order Material Line is a Number field, and the SOURCE_REF4 column is a String this error appears when attempting to load the Inventory Transactions History list. Anyone have luck using a Post Deployment process to change Routing Alternate or Product Structure Alternate from Tentative to Buildable in Data Migration Manager? I’m trying ROUTING_ALTERNATE_API.BUILD_ in this example. I can’t get it to fire off, no matter what settings I try. The Customer Order Status change is very straightforward in comparison, just requiring the ORDER_NO. I’m wondering if it has something to do with the migration not actually filling anything in for the OBJID or OBJVERSION. No idea what should go in the ATTR or ACTION sections.
I have a user who is trying to use the Copy Revision function for the Product Structure and Recipe Structure. He enters the new part number and set the revision number to 1, but it gives an error saying that a 2nd revision number doesn't exist. We are aware that it does not exist because it is a new part number. Has anyone else run into this issue? If so, how can I fix this? We have the work around of using the Duplicate function and copying over the component information, but this user has been able to achieve this the other way (copy revision) for years and for some reason he has been receiving this error the past month or so.
We want to use the Generate Document action from Employee File in IFS Cloud 21R2. We did all the required setups on Word Template Definition and generated the Mail Merge Template without any problems.When using the action to Generate Document, the system retrieves and open the file, but no HTML is created and therefore no Mail Merge can occur. Are there any other setups that need to be done to get this to work or should I report this as a bug? Attached the Word doc template that we tried with as both .doc and .docmAppreciate any feedback.Regards,Jacques
