Creating Spare Parts in Functional Object/Serial Object

Hi,I am working on connecting the spare parts to the serial objects. Is there a way to connect the Spare Part to same Parent Object cross all sites?Let’s say main part number: xxx always have the same 6 spare parts and I want all 6 spare parts with fixed quantity to get uploaded under all sites. I can see I need to put that manually every time for each site. Isn’t there a way that we can link the same 6 spare parts from the same site to the main part number?

Organisation Tree not visible on Supervior Access Setup window

Good morning. I am not seeing the Organisation Tree for Employees in the Supervisor Access Setup window. What could be the reason for this? I did “uncheck” the fields at the top e.g Only Supervised Organisations. Thank you.

inter company order- change handling

Hiwhat is the standard IFS process for inter company purchase order change order handlingwhen enforcing use of purchase order change order mandatory for all the process. when CO and PO both Released.we want to modify price for the part number at source( demand ) customer order, system will stop and ask us to create purchase order change order ( but we not want to modify Purchase order price, only we need to modify customer order line price. how to add new line in the same CO and PO

Tax address in Tax Transactions for project supplier invoices

I have notice in Cloud (and previous versions) that when a Manual Supplier Invoice is posted with the option “Use Project Address for Tax”, the address (State, County, City) that appears in the Tax Transaction for that invoice is not the project address, but the company address. This is incorrect as the basis for calculating tax is the rate associated with the project address (this part works correctly). The state, county and city should be recorded in the Tax Transaction from the project address used so that when tax reporting is done, the IFS user can correctly identify the tax jurisdictions that reporting should be made for.

ASL approval in PO line

Hi All,when supplier is not added in approved supplier list and if there are 10 part number in the PO, when authorization is triggered, authorization tab shows ASL authorization 10 times /10 lines,purchase group is same for all the lines but still ASL authorization triggers shows 10 times.Any thoughts

Seriously private Action Type

We are looking for an action type which is not visible (in the action log) to other service departments. Never. Really Never. :-) Is this possible? I take it that action types flagged as private are visible to creating service departments and current assigned service departments. This is not what we are looking for.Take care,Mathias

Hi,I am testing Event/Event Action NOTIFY_NEXT_AUTH/Notify authorizers of invoices to be authorized next.The mail are sent successfully, however the mail in mailbox shows that the mail are sent from MAIL_SENDER not from User: Please se below picture example, the mail I received is sent from MAIL_SENDER1, not from Finance center.Finance center is active User Id and person ID. Does anyone know what to do so the mail sent from in Outlook mail shows the user ID/User ID e-post address?

Good afternoon, We are dealing with some old RMA’s that we want to book in for Italian Customers/Site. But now we receive the message : The new date must be equal to or greater than the start date of the latest period in the inventory value statistics. Can it be that this message is caused by Month or Year closing ?We can not receive the products anymore and we are completely stuck, because we don’t know which date we need to enter in order for us to move on and perform the transaction without an issue ! Looking forward to your expertise.

Command group not refreshing tarket page

Hi everyone,I'm encountering an issue with a command group that serves as a navigation link from a customer address listing page to individual customer address info pages. The problem arises when I attempt to navigate from the listing to a specific address info page: only the data from the first record I select loads correctly. However, when I return to the listing and select a different record, the data displayed still corresponds to the first one.I've already tried creating another command group to address the issue, but unfortunately, the problem persists on the new command group as well.Interestingly, if I copy the URL and load it in a new tab, the correct data displays. The issue seems to be isolated to the current tab, where the data isn't updating as expected.Any insights or guidance on how to address this would be greatly appreciated!Thanks in advance. UPDATE: i keep testing and if the navigationlink points to the customer form and i only pass the customerID it works as expecte

How to External file through a batch process

Dear Team, I am running the external supplier invoice load process through batch load in IFS Cloud (22R2). It appears that the system only recognizes the exact file name and I have been unable to find a mechanism to inject files with different suffixes, such as ExtSuppInv001.txt, ExtSuppInv002.txt, and so on.Is there anyone who is aware of how to accomplish this? If so, could you please share the solution?

Error Creating Window Handle message

I have a user that frequently gets this error when trying to Final Post a supplier invoice - particularly from the Instant Authorization screen. Then, it will terminate her IFS session. Receive into Arrival Location causing issues with Master Scheduling

Hello IFS Experts, hoping someone out there has an solutionWe use demand planning and we forecast many of our purchased finished goods items and majority of these are offshore with lead times of 6-8 weeks transit time.We register arrival once container is on ship in transit to designate ownership of goods.When we receive this into arrival into non--nettable location, it shows up for Master Scheduling as available on the date of we did the receipt into arrival location. This is a flow in IFS and was fixed for Cloud Version update, but IFS will not update for APPS10. This is causing inaccurate MS proposals and we need the system to have accurate date of receipt for Master Scheduling to generate correct purchase requisitions. Is there anyone else experiencing this issue and have a good solution?

Lot-Tracked Parts Received in Receive Inventory Part not displayed in Part Lot Batch

Dear colleagues,we have an issue with receiving lot-tracked parts in Receive Inventoty Part page (Transaction Code=NREC). When the part is being received, a quantity, a lot batch no and an expiration date is entered and the record is saved.After saving the record in Receive Inventory Part page, the receiving transaction can be viewed in Inventory Transaction History (Part No, Lot Batch No, Quantity Transaction Code=NREC, Expiration Date, etc).Unfortunately, the lot batch no record is not displayed in Part Lot Batch page.I do not understand why the lot batch record is not dispayed here as well.Please, can anybody help me?Thank you very much Best RegardsAntonin

WaDaCo configuration that enables 'identify serial numbers'

Our serial traced parts are currently set-up as not ‘in inventory traced’. We want to change this setting to ‘in inventory traced’. In order to do so we need to identify all serial numbers. Is there a possibility to create a WaDaCo configuration which can be used to identify serial numbers of a specific part on a specific location? We were thinking of something like this:Scan location Scan GS1 barcode (including part no & serial no) Scan next GS1 barcode Etc. etc. Finish identification session Result: parts are identified in ‘inventory parts in stock’.
