Wadaco 'Report Picking Part' with Activity sequence- how?

We are running IFSAPP10 upd.19. We are setting up Wadaco but cannot get “Report Picking part” to work with any rows using Activity sequence. All other parts works fine.It cannot select any default, list of values or even the actual Activity sequence from the reservation, stock or shipment/order line (they are all the same). The part to pick is already identified to the unique part by part number and configuration ID. Even if we use the standard configuration we get the same issue. Can anyone verify if they got it to work with Activity sequence reservations? Could it be a bug?@Dario Zani Perhaps you have some input? Your replyes on other topics here have been helpful!

Can we identify our modifications ourselves?

I have asked our IFS contact person multiple times if he can tell us if we have any modifications but he does not seem able to provide us with information. Can we find that information ourselves? I have IFSAPP and PL/SQL developer so I can look in the code if you tell me where to identify modifications.We are considering to upgrade from IFS10 to IFS11, and want to evaluate our modifications.We are only aware of one that we had at go live, but are worried that there have been new ones over the years.

WaDaCo Could not establich a secured connection with the indentity provider

Hi, I have an issue trying to use the ScanIT app for android for WaDaCo.When I enter the system id: Example.Company.comTAS ID: https://Example.company.comI get the error message “Could not establish a secured connection with the Indentity Provider”. What can be the issue? We are using IFSAPP10

Calculate standard cost automatically on new parts

We use standard cost which we calculate every month.Is it possible to automate so new parts automatically is calculated once they are released? So only calculate standard cost on parts where it is zero.Is there standard functionality to achive this? It would be perfect if we got an automated report daily saying “These parts are calculated today and here is the result” Any input is appreciated!

Wadaco- Picture of parts, update from PDM system. How?

Our PDM system is the master for our parts.Today we do not have any pictures of the parts in IFS, and we se a potential to put the thumbnails from PDM into the part on IFS. Have anyone done something like that? Im not experienced in the IFS Media functionality. But I think that the pictures will show up in wadaco if they are saved under media in PART right? Questions that comes to mind:Is there a quick way to migrate all the parts pictures into IFS, to migrate the files, the first time? We could probably get the PDM system to dump all new revisions of the thumbnail in order to keep the parts pictures up to date, but how do we import them and replace the old one in IFS.

Using automated financial & sustainability risk updates?- Supplier or customers

We are looking for connecting a service to give us automatic financial risk and sustainability on supplier mapped on registration number. Could be Dun & Bradstreet or something else. Does anyone have experience to share with us? Where do you store the data in IFS and how is it updated?What service company do you buy the analysis/risk index from?

Subcontraction invoicing - Sum up orders weekly?

We have an outside operations supplier for surface treatment. MANY orders and parts every week. Is there any subcontracting module in IFS or something where we could handle the orders in IFS as normal but then weekly or monthly summarize the purchases to one PO which can be used for invoicing everything? We are looking for ways to cut the manual work both by us and our supplier just to handle the invoicing on all orders. What I explained above does not have to be the solution, we are open for other solutions.

Tracking the FIRST creation date of a Purchase requisition line

I want to know our average time from need to released purchase order (and possibly more data points).The big challenge here is to know the first date a purchase requisition line was created. If nothing happens, the daily MRP will recreate it again next day.Is there any possibility to track when it first was generated?

Automate register arrival-process

Hi,We have set up dynamic quality control so that the arrival case is set based on how many receipts in a row that is without rejections. So we get IFS to decide if the order line should be inspected or not due to historical quality performance. (Receive into arrival or Receive into arrival, inspect at arrival). So far so good. To fully benefit from this, we need the process to be automated:The second we have registered the arrival, I would like the label to be printed in a specific printer and the transport task to be generated and released. Rows with inspection should get a label or something that says it has to be inspected.so when we have registered the arrival, it should be clear where each pallet should go in the next step. How can we automate this?We use IFS 10.

Workflow for supplier changes (4 eyes needed)

We have to have separate responsiblities in supplier data between Purchasing dep (supplier data) and finance dep. (invoicing data) to make sure that no one can create a supplier without anyone else seeing it. Today we have a separate workflow in sharepoint so that Purchasing have to approve the changes and details finance enters.Is there any way to create a workflow for the entering of financial data on supplier so that purchasing dep. can approve the changes/data within IFS?What is that functionality called? Workflow? Thanks

Supplier forecasts- Automatic Email every month

Our suppliers (or some of them) needs to have a forecast monthly. Right now we have a quick report with all purchase requisitions as the forecast, which we manually send to them. We wanted to use the supplier portal, but the cost is ridiculus for the licenses. So we cannot use that right now. How do you send forcasts automatically in IFS? Is there any built in function?

Persistent custom field, not possible to enter values

I can create persistent custom fields in Purchase Receipts History and make the field updateable. But I cannot enter any value in the Purchase Receipts History window. Why?

Intrastat reporting Apps 10, no result

Hi, We cannot get any result in the Intrastat reporting. Normal Hours and Flex Limits

We use IFS time clock to handle our clockings, but our employees make misstakes and one thing is that they do not know the normal hours and flex limits for today. We would like to have a lobby element that shows this in a similar way as the Employee Schedule Information. Is there any existing lobby element for this? If not, can anyone please help us with an example query that gives us these values? I think ifsapp.Time_Pers_Diary_Api.Get_All_Day_Info is the way to go if I look in the debug console.They cannot be found in TIME_PERS_DIARY_CL_SCHED_INFO

The cost of scrap in shop orders

We want to become better at follow up on Scrap in shop orders. Is there any good way to see how much a scrap of 2pcs in operation 50 costs (based on cost on previous operations and operation 50, or based on pre calculated cost per pcs and operation)? The end goal:A report for the “High Scrap Cost” operations last 12 months where we can address the big money and focus on the top 50. Give imidiate feedback to each production group on their lobby that: The cost of scrap this week was XXX Your top 10 scrap this week was XXXX with a “year scrap” of YYYY (a table element) - Operators often have information on why there is scrap and what we can do to improve, we just want to provide them with relevant data at the right time so they start thinking about it. @Björn Hultgren ?

Supplier portal 3rd party experience?

Hi, Does anyone in this community have any experience with 3rd party supplier portals integrated with IFS 10? The IFS supplier portal becomes really expensive when you have many suppliers but not massive spend. From what I have heard only the Oracle licenses for each supplier is full Oracle license. That business case wont work for us and is not scalable for future rollouts of IFS within our group. The wish list includes:Updating supplier data (approved by us before updated) Update purchase part data (approved by us before updated) Handling of purchase orders (for the suppliers that do not use EDI that we want to set up shortly. Suppliers could choose EDI or the portal.) Ability to get forecast (without our involvement) Possibility to have “one login” together with our drawing distribution system to make it feel integrated. Handling of quality issues and reports Any suggestion would be appreciated

What is the best "Actual finish date" of a shop order operation?

I want to know the date when an operation is actually finished, not planned to be finished.What I find to be most accurate was the latest entry of the Date applied below.Created a custom field on Shop_order_operations_CFV that works but it is too slow. select Date_applied from OPER_AND_IND_HIST_UIV HIST, SHOP_ORDER_OPERATION_JOIN SOOJwhere HIST.Order_no=SOOJ.ORDER_NO--'13870'and HIST.Operation_no=SOOJ.operation_no--'20'And HIST.Release_no=SOOJ.release_no--'*'And HIST.Sequence_no =SOOJ.Release_no--'*'And SOOJ.objkey=:objkeyOrder by Date_applied descFetch First 1 rows only Works, but it is to slow to be used in many applications. Find arrivals of inventory parts with cost = 0

Hi, We are using standard cost and cost set 5 for purchased parts.We seem to have arrivals where we did not have the cost calculated. It is zero. Can I find all PO-arrivals where the inventory part cost was zero? Note that the Purchase part might have a price, so the PO have a price but the cost on the inventory part is zero.

Previous shop order operation - How to find it

Hi, There are many things that could be valuable from an analysis perspective if we in a simple way could combine data from one operation with the previous operation and find the prevoius one even if there are parallell operations(then we should find the one that has to be done before).Has anyone a suggestion for that?One application that we are looking at:Adjusted OTD (instead of planned and actual start/finished, look at previous operations actual finish date + transport+setup). You cannot be on time if the previous operation is late, but you can still do your part at promised lead time.

Simply show summarised values in lobby (Supplier lobby)

Hi, Im creating a lobby with all the relevant information regarding a supplier. This lobby will be used when having supplier meetings to show the current status and overview. There is no problem creating counters, KPI and everything with numbers and have it sorted by the supplier. But when it comes to all the other data that is text-values in different columns, how do I present them the best? I would like to be able to show them in a list element like this:Information ValueSupplier No 12345Name Supplier nameDel terms FCATransp days 5etc…I can transpose it like that in PL/SQL query using unpivot. But I cannot get this result table into a lobby data source. Is there any function that can get it into the lobby?(i know how to create a quick report or a normal list element with all the values in a diffrent column but it is not what im after)

Possible to change columns in dropdown form view

Is it possible to decide what columns that are shown in the top dropdown if you have multiple entrys (in this specific case multiple invoices in Posting proposals)? I would like to have PO Ref as one of the columns when i press the drop down arrow so that it is easier for me do find the correct invoice. So it would be Supplier, Name, Series ID, Invoice Identity and PO Ref. Thanks in advance!

Set standard value for automatic order closing, new purchase parts

For our process to work, all our purchase parts chould have Automatic Order Closing ticked off.But every new part created has this setting ticked. Where can we set the standard value for a new purchase part (created automatically by our pre-preparation dep). Today we have to manually change every purchase part.

Buying configured parts

Does anyone have experience of buying configured parts? We configure our products and the electronic cabinets are assembled by suppliers.The configuration of our end product defines what the electronic cabinets will contain, however we only buy on a top level and send the structure of configured purchase parts from the configurator and not IFS. The configurable nodes are not in IFS. How would you set it up in IFS so that we can see the structure in the purchased part?Like package parts that we sell but on the procurement side (customer/purchase order see top level, but IFS knows what´s below).

Cancel and redo PO receipt

When we find quality issues on parts after they have been inspected and put in stock, how do we cancel the receipt in order to register a new inspection with rejected quantities? We have heard that we have to put the parts back to the arrival location to be able to cancel the receipt, but we cannot move inventory stock to the arrival location again. (not possible to select the arrival location as destination. Or when changing a transport task we can select the arrival location as destination but it is not possible to save since there is no PO reference and we cannot add it manually. We want to achieve:Correct PPM data/quality statistics Ability to send parts back to supplier or scrap Please help us find an approach to this problem.
