Hi, I’ve had a look and a stab but looking for some assistance...I have a new process going in, which requires searching on the ‘Receipt Reference’ field of the Manual Supplier Invoice when matching the invoice.The PO number is not, and can not be, brought though when created via EDI.Can anyone advise how in Apps10 you can Index a field so it will search faster. The process works perfectly, but with the delay to search it will kill it from an End-User perspective.Thanks as always, Matt
Hi,I’m trying to find an way of outputting into a report the number of times an Application Message was retried in Apps10. I can see the data on screen - but no way of debugging (that I can see) to get at the figure to extract. Anyone got a suggestion?
Hi,One of our users has Registered a Direct Delivery against an Unpegged Order.I would put good money they would have seen the warning message:But hey-ho. That customer order line was then processed on a subsequent req.Does anyone know a way to back out the delivery. We have a GRNI entry now which is incorrect.Many thanks,Matt

Hi,Apps10 UPD20 (though also in UPD16) - When a Customer Order Line is entered with Supply Code Internal Purchase Direct it does not have ‘Default Info’ ticked on the CO lines.Does anyone know if this is a) A bug that has been resolvedb)A setting that can be adjustedC)The accepted IFS logic (based on the LSD Trip of the engineer at the time)I’ve had a quick look on the community and can not see this has been asked before - nor can I see a setting.Many thanks, Matthew
Hi, We are keeping this to YES so currently rewriting all of our Quick Report in UPD20.For most we can do by Concating (||) the variable with a ‘%’ to have the parameter as a wildcard.The issue is if we have any variable, wildcard or not, in the group statement. The error NOT A GROUP BY EXPRESSION is given.Has anyone experienced this / rewritten sucessfully?
Hi,We are on Apps10 - looking at a way of ensuring 1 Purchase Order Direct CO line will go to 1 Purchase Order. We are using Order Processing Types to go straight to Released PO. It could be collecting a number of CO lines and putting onto 1 PO. We could also accept 1 CO linking to 1 PO - e.g. 3 products on the same PO that relate to the 1CO, but not another 4 that relate to a different one.Would like Standard functionally - but well versed in Custom Config if that is needed.Edit: just to add - we are using Non-Inventory Sales Parts sourced from a Non-Inventory Purchase Part. Hi, I’ve seen a number of posts on IFS Cloud and IALs. Were starting to think about prepping for a move from Apps 10. We use IAL’s extensively so I’ve a few questions. As of 23R2 can you create new IAL’s As of 23R2 can you amend existing IAL’s Is there a date when existing IAL’s will no longer be used We use some IAL’s for Power BI reports - what is the best way to get at the data in Power BI for IFS Cloud. We’ve just deployed Apps 10 UPD20 to our TEST environment and the first thing we have noticed is that lobby tiles with ‘long’ names no longer show on two lines. They are truncated to 1 with ….at the end.We now have a number of tiles with the same name shown in IEE - and a fun job to rename them. Is there a setting that has become valid - or can anyone shed some light onto the IFS Developer Mindset? Thanks,Matt
Hi, On Apps 10 UPD16 the system defined event CUSTOMER_PMT_RECEIVED is firing for customers when we have an unallocated payment on their account. When they have this payment, but prior to it being allocated, the sum of payment + outstanding orders > credit limit - so the corresponding action will fire. When the payment is allocated shortly after they are below the limit, but it has still fired. Has anyone else experienced this issue / found a way around it.
HTML, TRC, XML So far when attaching supporting, often requested, files to IFS Service Centre Support portal I have to waste my time converting the above to something that can be attached.Yet again the Support function is failing in its Moment of Service. Hi, We are getting the below error message when performing a Customer Offset. We have not changed process and have never seen before? This offset has 2 off CUCUKPOA AND 3 OFF CUPOA’S on the offset. This is not unusual. Any suggestions?
Hi, On Apps 10 - Does anyone know if it is possible to change the Order Type for an Incoming Customer Order using the ORDERS message - and if so do you have something I could ‘borrow.’I’ve been going around in circles for days now. I feel there should be something there. I have also been attempting to write an event to stop the order - which is fine - but then it still blocks on manual approval.

Hi, Can anyone explain the hierarchy of Delivery Confirmation.We are looking to turn off using the Sales Group option - but it is enabled on the Customer Record (as 95% of their orders will need this) Does the Customer Record always trump the Sales Group?
We have a request from The Business to automate matching of invoices for Customer Checks - to match against the oldest ones first, or if it matches a months invoices (as the oldest one is in query) as a proposal before the payment is posted against the invoices.I can see many functional issues with this - but at the moment I’m tasked with looking into the technical feasibility. I almost posted as an new user for this question.I can see nothing in standard functionally - has anyone developed anything custom or been down this route before. Thanks,Matt
Apps 10 UPD16 - I’m looking at using Open Balances History and have done some testing but wondering if anyone could confirm what I think to be true - but have a healthy does of skepticism. If we run it for a balance date in the past today it will act like a DeLorean Time Machine and tell us what the outstanding balances and over-due amounts were at that point in time.E.G. - we run it on 03/08/23 but put a Balance Date of 30/05/23 we will see invoices that had just been generated as Outstanding but nothing in Overdue. We then run on 03/08/23 putting a Balance Date of 31/07/23 if that customer was on net-30 day terms and had not paid the Balance it would show as overdue. Even if they had made the payment on 01/08/23. Hoping this is true - if it is, it had saved me a lot of custom dev work!

Hi,We have an issue where J vouchers are created at the same time as the External Supplier Invoice is loaded with Invoice Type SUPPEXT.As a result we can not change the invoice Due_Date once the invoice arrival period has passed.This is not the case on those entered manually using SUPPINV. Any suggestions on the settings for External Supplier Invoice Parameter's to stop this.
Hi,To hopefully save myself from going around in circles...can anyone confirm when an entry is made into the CREATE_RECEIPT_CREATE_RECEIPT_VIRTUAL_VRT table in Apps10. I think it is when an attempt to register arrivals is made in Aurena - but not 100% and also not sure when (if ever) it is cleared down. My original quest is to identify goods receipted at the same time in Aurean.
Hi, Trying to use Cumulative Lead Time. We have a simple set-up. A product structure with three Purchase (RAW) components. They have lead times of 120, 15 & 42 days on SFPP reports. Given a 1 day inspection time we have 121, 16 & 43 on the Expected lead time of the Inventory Part.The Manufactured Part has 40 hours on the routing so showing 5 days as Expected on Inventory Part. Running Cumulative Lead Time - I would have expected 125 days - but it is still only showing 5. Any thoughts. Trying to get lead-times working correctly. I have a thought as to why is is not from some previous posts, but want to see if anyone had unbiased thoughts. Apps 9 UPD17 Thansk, Matt
Hi,We are trying to get an Odata Restful API call to run a Power BI Report to be limited by Date (current date less a year) and to include $expand columns. We then need to set-up as a data source so it can be Cached in Power BI not called locally when the report (with row level security) is executed We have code that will work in Browser / Postman for the $expand but not in Power BI and the date will work as static report but not as a data source. I apricate this is Power BI related - but also I have seen some limitations on the Community about IFS and Restful API’s so would be interested if anyone has ran into similar issues or can point me in the write direction. Hi, Looking at IFS Developer Studio in Apps10, as we transition to Aurena ahead of IFS Cloud. Does anyone know if there is an IFS Academy Couse on Developer Studio 101 - I’ve looked, can not see, but sometimes the titles are not always the most illuminating. I’ve got the help files / documentation - but before I go down that route thought best to see if there was some ‘Official’ training. Forgiving as my DEV environment is - I’d rather not be fumbling in the dark if I can avoid it Thanks, Matt
