Thanks for the feedback. Although, this seems strange. Is freezing the column a requirement based on how the software was developed or is this just a workaround?

Remote Warehouse Shipping Locations not recognized when Reporting Picking on Shipments

Hi @muellerjs14 , Works fine for me. Hope you have enough stock in the picking location. Hi @Upasari, I ran into this issue as well, although it’s not a matter of available inventory. The Shipment Location is simply not visible if it belongs to a Remote Warehouse.Below are the recreation steps:Reserve material in a location that belongs to a Remote Warehouse Report Picking of this material and attempt to select a Location with a Location Type of Shipment that belongs to the Remote Warehouse Within the LOV, only Shipment locations belonging to a non-Remote Warehouse are visible Although it’s possible to complete the Shipment, the transaction is inaccurate as because it shows the material virtually in a different warehouse than it is physically. For me this, this was in 22R2 SUPD 4.If you are not running into this issue, can you please advise if the business scenario was the same and which UPD you have installed? Thanks.

Thanks for the reply, @Jane Perry.I queried for only the part number. No other search parameters were used. I omitted the actual search value as it is unique to a customer’s environment. Please let me know if you have any suggestions or a ticket must be created.

Thanks for the feedback, @dinuka9, I appreciate it. Yes, the customer would like this feature as they find it quite useful to have a control point (i.e. forces user to scan instead of typing.Should this be submitted as a standard ticket? Any special notation?

Automatically generate pick list for customer orders

Hi Bryan,A few questions come to mind:Are you using Shipments? Is this business requirement exception handling (i.e. an infrequent process) or does your business specifically ship complete (i.e. when all material is Reserved) for all Customer Orders? Is there a typical timeframe gap between when the Customer Order is entered vs when material is available to be reserved or is it highly variable?

Appreciate the feedback @AsankaGaru. Unfortunately, that is not the issue. This issue remains whether Automatic Sourcing is being used or not. For example, I can select a different Customer, Site, Sales Part, Sourcing Option etc.

Shipment Type not defaulting

Hi @AsankaGaru No. The Customer Order Header has a value. It’s pulling as expected from the Site (NR Shipment Type).Also worth noting that I’ve tried to change the Shipment Type on the Site to another and the behavior is still the same.

Hi,Is the material your moving already issued to the Shop Order for Operation 10? What drives the business requirement to visualize a move from one work center to another? For example, is it to capture the logistics team time to move the material?

@Kenneth Gaddnas Just to echo/add to what Dario mentioned above, the customer I was working with elected to update the application to service update 5 (i.e. 22R2 UPD 5) which resolved the issue.

Process Transport Task Part - WaDaCo Issue

Appreciate the feedback, @Dario Zani. I removed all the configurations and wiped all related settings to go back to core, then slowly added one change at a time.Fortunately after several iterations, the configuration now works in an acceptable manner. Seems it must have been user error somewhere on my part.Although I’ve worked with WaDaCo over 4 years now, it’s always a good PSA to make one or two changes at a time. Making several changes in a configuration at once increases the chances of disrupting the core logic and then not allowing the user to determine where the root cause may be.

Process Transport Task Part - WaDaCo Issue

Thanks for the quick response, @Dario Zani. I have tried the configuration both with modifications and simply using the template configuration copied and Released - the issue still persists. Currently, I’m using the default template just copied to a new configuration:The Transport Task ID is fetched from Start Transport Task The Line No is Auto Picked Then the application will require you to select the Transport Task Status although the Use Automatic Value is set to Fixed This occurs again with the FROM_CONTRACT. The Automatic Values are fixed, but the user is prompted to select a value. Although I have not enabled it at the moment until these issues are resolved, ideally, the user can loop through these parts instead of having to transport then one by one.

WADACO ProcessCard_ProcessCard_Details: error message

Hi, We have released a fix with 22.1.11 (22R1 Service Update 11). Best option would be to update to the latest service update on your track (22R1). Second option, if you need a Out of Band release (hotfix) on top of your current version (22.1.3), that can also be arranged. You will have to send a ticket to RnD through Support. Third option would be to downgrade the ScanIt Cloud app to the previous version. We can try to provide the .apk file of the previous version through a downloadable link as well. Please let us know how you want to proceed. Best Regards. @dinuka9 Are you able to provide the previous .apk file to me as well? I have a customer who experienced this issue today.

Searching by Customer Name in Aurena

Did anyone get the bug fix number? I’m on Apps10 UPD16 and I’m having a similar issue when searching Contacts on the Customer - CRM screen. Unfortunately, I do not have the Bug ID. Are you noticing this issue in Aurena or IEE? Can you please share a screenshot of which issue you’re experiencing in case there are minute differences.

IFS Cloud - barcode scanners

@jporter I don’t believe there is any sort of published list that IFS provides regarding all possible devices, although they do share minimum device requirements. Although this is mildly old, you can find that thread here: I generally provide the minimum device requirements and then work with the customer to get a better understanding of what they are looking for (i.e., scan distance, ruggedization, cold storage, media capability, barcode type supported, OS preference, etc.)

The navigator path is Part Master Data/Assortment/Assortment. On this page you can make edits to the assortment tree structure and add/remove parts.

Thanks @Drausenhaus for the reply. I’m specifically look at the Assortment detail page. It only allows you to search by Part No: They do not want to search in the Assortment Nodes overview page. I’m curious if the search can be extend here to allow for additional criteria or if this constitutes a modification.

@ppriya Curious if you are also running into issues in which the application is not showing alternate Return Locations.I have an example in which I’ve received material in Location A1. The material was then moved to Location B1 as apart of the inventory process.If I select Return from Any Location, I can select B1, but the Handling Unit ID relationship is removed upon this selection. Although the material resides in that location and it’s a valid location, the application presents a toast error indicating that location does not exist.

ABC Cycle Count Set Up & Process

Hi @Sarah Neuman ,Before I comment on the process, I want to double check to ensure you are also running the Scheduled Task to Aggregate Inventory Transactions per Period. If this Task is not run, then the Perform ABC Task may be ignoring certain periods (would be visible in the Background Job details).To create an automated count report by ABC class daily, you would need the following set-upCyclic Count: this is defined on the Inventory Part record. It’s a checkbox that allows you to specify if the part is used in Cycle Counting Cycle Interval: This specifies the interval, in days, between when the counts should occurFor example, you may say that you want to count A parts every 20 days, B parts every 120 days and C parts every 240 days.This update process is entirely manual, but if you’re using IFS Apps 10 or earlier, you can use the Find and Replace functionality to group Inventory Parts by ABC class and mass update the Cycle Count selection and the Cycle Intervals. How do you clear a reservation on a purchase order line?

@arebbeadle , You can do the following to remove the reservation:RMB on the Purchase Order Line and select Supplier Material RMB on the line and select Reserve Part Find the row in which the reservation exists and input a negative quantity next to that value (you may have to do this for multiple rows depending on how your reservation was completed) Click OK and then the Reservation will be removedAlthough, I’m not sure I follow the reason to manually close the PO line. Generally, you’d want to complete the Register Arrivals process to complete the receipt process or adjust the quantity on the Purchase Order Line if it exceeds what you now need to order. Assuming the Automatic Order Closing selection is enabled on the Purchase Part, the Purchase Order will automatically close once the material is received.

Hi @Fgray09 Not sure which version you’re on, but below is one way this could be achieved using your example.You’d simply define:Number of records to be printed (this will act as the maximum amount or i.e. 50 parts) Exclude Part Counted Since Days (this will count backwards from the current system date. As far as I recall this is based on calendar days, not business days, so in your example it would take 26 days to count 1,000 parts. You could play around with this say for example if you were just going to focus on cyclic counting parts, but perhaps this gives you an idea.

Planned Receipt Date

Hi @tricia.roth Core functionality calculates the Planned Receipt Date by using the below logic:Planned Receipt Date = (Planned Arrival Date + Internal Time + Internal Inspection Time)The Internal Time is set-up in the Supply Chain Matrix and the Internal Inspection Time is set-up in the Supplier for Purchase Part. That said, what business requirement are you hoping to solve or achieve with a Planned Receipt Date that is always in the future? This will help to provide some additional direction.
