Enabling SSO to FSM Smart Client

Hi @Melrose,I’ve discussed this with R&D team they provided an explanation,mart client uses Edge browser if Microsoft Edge WebView2 Runtime is installed in the client machine. Otherwise, it uses IE.From screen recording it seems like Azure AD login dialog is loading correctly without javascript errors. Azure AD login dialog loading without javascript error means smart client uses Edge to render the SSO login screen.Errors are occurring when redirecting to the BestBuy’s organization sign in page. FSM 6.15 Upgrade Errors

Hi Jithesh, If SQLCMD.exe is not there that means Microsoft Command Line Utilities for SQL Server is not installed in your server computer. I don’t think simply copying and pasting it from another computer would work. You’d have to install it.https://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?linkid=2142258But before that you have to make sure you have ODBC drivers for SQL serverDownload Microsoft ODBC Driver 17 for SQL Server - Windows, Linux, & macOS from Official Microsoft Download CenterAfter that you can check if SQLCMD.exe file is in above path and check the “path” variable and if it missing the path, add it.If nothing else work, I guess you’d have to reinstall SQL server because usually Command Line Utilities for SQL Server comes with installer package for SQL Server 2017/19 etc.This is not an FSM issue but rather a configuration issue in the server. FSM 6.15 Upgrade Errors

Hi Jithesh, In your server machine, check if there is a file called “SQLCMD.EXE” in the following locationC:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\Client SDK\ODBC\170\Tools\BinnIf you can see the file there, then check your system PATH variable. (Right click on “This PC” > Properties > Advanced System Settings > click on “Environment Variables” button > in the system variables section, double click on the “Path” variable). This Path variable should contain the above mentioned path, If you don’t see the path to SQLCMD.exe like in the above screenshot, try adding it. Then restart the server and try installing again. Have you tried this too ? P:S:Also make sure you are executing the FSM installer with a user that this path is configured for. For some system user accounts this “path” system variable might not contain the above mentioned path. Best Regards,Hushan Hasarel

MX_U Table: FSM Managed by IFS Who Maintains It?

Hi Juni,If it’s IFS managed, cloud services team can truncate the MX_U table. They can do it directly from the database itself. If customer does it, they can use the following query to truncate the tableTRUNCATE TABLE mx_uIf you want to just check the content,SELECT * FROM mx_uRnD has added a App Param called USAGE_DAYS_TO_SAVE where you can set the Default number of days to save usage data (MX_U) for perform_analyze_usage. MX_U Table: How to Intrepret This Data?

Hi Juni,As mentioned in this post, what is the use of mx_u table in FSM? | IFS CommunityThat table is used internally for usage tracking purposes that could aid in troubleshooting. The data does not need to be persisted long term though, so if you are finding that it is consuming too much storage in the database, you can safely truncate the table periodically without fear of doing harm elsewhere. Every external message coming in to the FSM Server (smart client, web client, mobile, integrations, PSO) gets a record in MX_U. Thanks & Best Regards,Hushan

FSM6u10 Mobile Attachment default path

Hi @AngeloPav, I’ve tested this using the latest FSM6U14 and in it, only the first time it opens the root directory. After you selected the first attachment from a certain folder, next time you try to attach something, it opens that folder you selected before. I haven’t tested this in FSM6U10 but I suppose the result will be the same. I used a device with android 11. Can I know what your android version is ? Thanks & Best Regards,Hushan Hasarel

Hi Asier, Various changes throughout update cycle can lead to bugs like this. So it is possible this issue occurred in a later version even though it worked in FSM6U6. However, as I mentioned, this issue was fixed by R&D in FSM6U13 release. Thanks & Best Regards

Hi Asier, I believe this issue is in web client, when there is 2 or more tasks on 1 resource, one 1 day & "show routes" is checked and team members are also the resources listed. Is that correct ? This was a bug and was fixed in FSM 6 U13 release. Thanks & Best Regards,Hushan Hasarel

IFS FSM Custom MPM - ComplexObject as a Method Parameter

Hi,I had a similar case some months ago and when I consulted the RnD, they had mentioned that it is not supported in the way customer is implementing it. FSM only support custom entity classes (data tables) and baseline server objects as the data type for a complex perform parameter. RnD suggested to make this work by defining the data type as "xml" and then add some code within the MPM C# class to parse the XML to get the data needed from the child XML nodes.Hope you got the answer to your question. FSM 6.13 - AdHoc Report Datetime Format

Hi João, As I know, you can’t change the datetime format in Ad Hoc reports from FSM. But it changes the format to that format used by the client computer’s regional date time formats. Error while trying to debug the baseline FSM windows mobile

Hi Community, In the debug process I’ve found the fixes for these errors I encountered. I had done all the things as described in RnD developer guide and still got these errors, in case someone encounter the same errors, I hope this will help them, 1st Error To fix the $(TargetPlatformMinVersion) error, you have to open the solution with Visual Studio, right click on the Project which gives this error which is from IFS.FSMW.SQLitePCL.Ext.Universal and click on Unload Project as depicted below,Unload the project IFS.FSMW.SQLitePCL.Ext.UniversalAfter Unloading right click on that project again and click on Edit IFS.FSMW.SQLitePCL.Ext.Universal.csproj as below,Edit IFS.FSMW.SQLitePCL.Ext.Universal.csprojCsproj file will be opened as below and add this line in the first <PropertyGroup> block, please note that the value inside the following tag should be equal or greater than the value showed in the error. <TargetPlatformMinVersion>10.0.17200.0</TargetPlatformMinVersion> A

Manually configuring connection protocols of FSM instance from HTTP toto HTTPS

Hi @Lee Pinchbeck This is in fact about the case created by Supun. I’ve contacted Jon Reid from R&D and he mentioned the only method supported by RnD is to run the installer. Since you don't have to re-run the database upgrade, you just have to re-install the same version of the app server and mobile service you already have, specifying https instead of http. Incorrect time displayed in Integration Scheduling Wizard

R&D has informed in 6 update 11, a change been done to fix the issue of next run value of the schedule shows a wrong value when server and client are running in different time zones.A new time zone field was added to the scheduling wizard to specify a time zone for the schedule when server and client are running in different time zones.For Monthly, Weekly, Days of Week and Daily schedule types Start Date and Next Run value of the schedule are calculated based on the time zone of the schedule, considering DST. Also they have further mentioned this issue will be entirely fixed in FSM6U13. Refer support case G2272385

Incorrect time displayed in Integration Scheduling Wizard

Hi @Lee Pinchbeck Do you have any idea what this 1hr time difference is ? I also noticed this time difference doesn’t happen in some time zones, as an example, if I change the client time zone to Sri Lankan time, this 1 hour time difference doesn’t happen, “Next Run” and “Start Time” is the same. Does this have something to do with Daylight Saving Time ? Thanks in Advance !
